As someone with combination skin, large pores, and acne-prone skin that's also sensitive and prone to deep dryness, I had high hopes for this product. Scent: It's fragrance-free, but has a strong soap-like scent that might appeal to those with oily skin. Texture: It's not runny and doesn't feel sticky, which I appreciated. User experience: My skin requires cleansing at least twice a day. I typically cleanse before bed to avoid waking up with greasy skin, so I tried this product at night. While it didn't give me the sensation of completely removing all impurities, it seemed to do a decent job. After cleansing, my face felt like it had the right amount of oil removed - not completely stripped like with other cleansers. Usually, when cleansers remove all the oil, my skin feels tight and uncomfortable. This product didn't cause that issue, which I really liked. It didn't irritate or make my skin itchy, which can happen when cleansers are too harsh on my complexion. I didn't notice any significant drawbacks. The only minor issue was that it seemed to remove slightly less oil when used with cold water. I'd recommend using lukewarm water for the best results. This product is especially great for those with oily skin. Generally, transparent soap-based products are better for oily skin, while opaque ones are better for dry skin. It causes zero irritation on my super sensitive skin, cleanses effectively, and doesn't leave my face feeling tight. I really love it! There's nothing bad to say. The ingredients are gentle on the skin. The foam is rich and plentiful, and the cleansing effectiveness is satisfactory. I saw reviews saying the foam was lacking, but I actually find it lathers well and I like it. So far, I have no complaints. I love that it has minimal ingredients. It's a product that really sticks to the basics. For dry skin, it feels too squeaky clean. When double cleansing, I use this cleansing foam not for a squeaky-clean feel, but to gently remove any remaining oil. As someone with dry skin, I dislike that tight feeling after washing, and this product leaves my skin moisturized without any pulling sensation. It lathers well and has a runny consistency, so it easily glides down the transparent bottle as you use it - which is oddly satisfying to watch! There's a slight detergent-like scent that caught me off guard at first. I was worried it might be drying like regular soap. It's incredibly difficult to find one with good ingredients, but this one is a game-changer! With only 5 safe ingredients (which says it all - usually even 'gentle' products have various additives, but this one is perfectly compact), it lathers well, cleanses effectively, and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. Instead, it keeps my complexion hydrated. Usually, there's something to nitpick about, but I couldn't find any faults with this one. Since it's gentle, its cleansing effectiveness isn't super strong. So, on days with makeup, it's perfect as a second cleanse. My skin easily turns red after deep cleansing, but this product leaves it feeling hydrated even after washing! It's so good that I use it up quickly... It's a bit slippery, but that's because it's so moisturizing When you squeeze it onto your hands and rub them together, it sometimes escapes, so after squeezing it, immediately lather it up to prevent slipping. It hydrates well and feels gentle on the skin. I love how mild it is. If I had to nitpick, I'm on my second bottle and still can't get used to the scent.
