My skin type: Super sensitive, combination-oily, combination dehydrated skin ⭐️No irritation for super sensitive skin Even though my skin gets red and tingly with the slightest hint of cautionary ingredients on Hwahae, I experienced no irritation while using this. Thumbs up for vegan cosmetics! ⭐️High moisture for dry transitional weather From the moment I applied it, I could feel its rich texture. Thanks to its high hydration, I didn't experience any deep dryness for over 4 hours. ⭐️Portable (refillable container) As a product designed with environmental consciousness, it comes in eco-friendly packaging that allows you to transfer it into your own refillable container. High marks for portability! ⭐️Scent While it's close to unscented, I personally didn't care for the inherent smell of the product. ⭐️Oil content As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I prefer lighter formulas, but this one applies quite rich. It was perfect for areas lacking moisture and needing an oil barrier like the cheeks, but not great for oily areas like the T-zone. It felt like it sat on top of the skin without absorbing. ⭐️Portable (refillable container) This could be seen as both a pro and a con. In prioritizing eco-friendliness, I wonder if all the beneficial ingredients can be properly delivered to the skin. Properly sanitizing a refillable container depends on individual capability, and even then, it's questionable whether the product can be transferred in a sterile manner. I wish more research had been done on the container aspect. It's easier to transfer the product into a refillable container if you cut slightly above the easy-tear line on the packaging rather than using the line itself. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2022
First off, I love that it's a vegan product, which makes the cream itself very gentle. The texture is also not overwhelming when applied, which is great. The oil and moisture balance is well-maintained, making it especially beneficial during seasonal changes. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come in a container, so you need to have a separate bottle ready before use. However, from an environmental perspective, this might be okay. While I'm used to medicinal ointments and find the scent acceptable, it might not be a fragrance that appeals to everyone, which is a bit of a letdown. When applied before bed, your face feels soft and supple in the morning. In this dry weather, there's no cream that matches the Tiger Cream in terms of hydration power and quality ingredients. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 9, 2022
I had the great opportunity to try Yeonji's Joseon Vegan Moon Tiger Cream! Let me list the advantages I experienced while using it: 1) Gentle ingredients - As the name suggests, it's a vegan cream with mild ingredients. I previously used Physiogel, but even after switching to this cream, I didn't experience any blemishes. 2) Contains Centella Asiatica extract - After discovering that Centella works well for my skin, I had been separately purchasing Centella toner from Onething and mixing it with my cream. However, this cream already contains Centella extract, which reduced the hassle of mixing toner and cream together. 1) Packaging - When I first received the product, I thought I had mistakenly gotten a heat pack. While I appreciate the concept of a vegan and eco-friendly paper packaging for cosmetics, I believe that packaging plays a crucial role in the initial purchase decision. Perhaps they could adopt a marketing strategy similar to Hanyul, offering the main product bundled with refill packages, and providing additional discounts for repeat purchases. The current packaging... doesn't really inspire a desire to buy. Mixing this cream with jojoba cream and applying it to your face allows for easy application even in this cold weather! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 9, 2022
I love that it's a vegan and zero-waste product. It definitely feels like there's less of a burden on my conscience, even after multiple purchases. The hydration is excellent! The cream has a rich, slightly thick texture that leaves my skin feeling well-moisturized after application. It didn't cause any blemishes on my skin after use! I think this gentle product would likely suit most skin types. Having to scoop the product out separately can be a bit of a hassle, and it doesn't seem very hygienic. Even after cleaning the empty container and wiping it with alcohol pads, there's still a lingering sense of unease. While it moisturizes well, it does feel quite rich on the skin. Using a hydrating serum before this product helps achieve a perfect balance of hydration and richness! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2022
This product definitely seems gentle on the skin. I didn't experience any irritation during or after application. It appears they haven't added any fragrances either. That's why I think it's an excellent cream for those with super sensitive skin. It feels particularly suitable for dry skin types rather than oily ones, as a final step in skincare to seal in moisture. I also really appreciate that they've used environmentally-friendly packaging. While it might be surprising to suddenly need your own container, you'd be surprised how often you can find uses for empty jars. The product feels like it sits on top of the skin rather than being absorbed. It has a somewhat rich texture, which might be why it doesn't seem to deeply penetrate the skin. Instead, it gives more of a coating effect as a final skincare step. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2022
The cream texture is not too thick, but soft, making it easy to apply and absorb well without feeling sticky. In a nutshell, it feels powdery yet moisturizing! True to its name as a vegan cosmetic, with centella asiatica and gentle ingredients, it helped soothe blemishes that appeared during the changing seasons. I was a bit surprised that it didn't come in a container. It's inconvenient to have to prepare a separate empty bottle to store it in. This aspect is somewhat disappointing. The texture isn't light, so I found it better to use at night rather than in the morning! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2022
Eco-friendly packaging that's vegan-focused and reduces unnecessary waste! After a month of use, I'm back to update my review because I love it so much!! It really shows that you need to use a product for a while to know its true benefits... The hydration is amazing. Super gentle on the skin. I previously mentioned my face felt hot, but now there's no such issue at all. My skin feels so comfortable, and it has improved tremendously (drinking lots of water helped too!). Initially, my face felt hot after application... I don't usually have sensitive skin, and I typically do well with cica products, so I think the coconut oil might not agree with me. But now, after continued use, my skin feels incredibly comfortable. There's no need to transfer it to another container. Just cut a tiny opening at the tip and keep it in a clean place. You can squeeze out just the right amount each time. I'm still using it this way - it's so convenient to just squeeze and apply! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2022
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I initially thought it might be a bit oily, but it surprisingly managed my deep dryness well and left my skin feeling matte on the surface, making it pleasant to apply! However, it's a bit heavy for morning use, so I only apply it in the evening. It's gentle enough for blemish-prone skin, didn't cause any breakouts, and provided great soothing effects. I really enjoyed using it! Plus, the fact that it's vegan is amazing! I felt confident using this product! Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a separate container, which makes it inconvenient to use. I wish they would either offer an option to purchase a container when buying the product or sell it in a container from the start. If you already have a container at home, it might not be an issue, but for those of us without one, it's quite inconvenient to use.
