* Eco-friendly packaging! At first, it might seem inconvenient, but I think it's a great initiative for the environment. * It's hydrating! Perfect for the increasingly cold weather. I think it's suitable for most people, except those with extremely dry skin. * The texture isn't too thick, it's slightly runny, which makes it absorb well and easy to use. * I love that it's fragrance-free, making it clean and pleasant. * Vegan!! The ingredients are fantastic! I haven't noticed any major drawbacks yet, but I wonder if the price might be a bit steep for the amount you get. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2022
•It absorbs well and is barely sticky, so when I applied it before bed, I was pleased that it didn't transfer onto my bedding. •When applied, it felt like it created a moisturizing barrier on the skin's surface. It seemed more suitable for dry and combination skin types rather than oily skin. The scent wasn't polarizing either, so I used it without any aversion. •It didn't cause any blemishes, and when I woke up, while my skin didn't feel as hydrated as right after skincare, it felt like the product had absorbed, leaving my skin soft and supple. •It comes in a paper pouch because it's a vegan product, which seemed a bit contradictory. You need to find your own container to store the product, and if you don't have one, you'd have to buy one separately. This seems to dilute the original vegan intention. Even for vegan products, while unnecessary processing should be reduced, a minimal container seems necessary. •While it might work for the skin's surface, it didn't seem to provide deep hydration. You'll likely need to apply a product specifically for deep dryness as well. When applying the product, you should use at least this routine to avoid feeling dry: toner - ampoule - deep moisturizing cream - Tiger Grass cream. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 10, 2022
I appreciate that they offer refill containers, which is environmentally friendly. When applying, it felt quite rich and oily, but after spreading it out, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as heavy as I expected! The scent is slightly herbal? If you've tried the Sidmool Centella Guspit Cream, you'll recognize it - it's exactly that scent! I was glad it wasn't as greasy as I thought it might be, and I didn't experience any skin issues after using it, which was great! The slight inconvenience when you don't have the original container...? Having to buy it separately was a bit of a hassle. Transferring the product can also be a bit cumbersome... Even if you apply a generous amount, it absorbs well, so feel free to layer it on! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2022
A cream with an overwhelming amount of oil compared to hydration, perfect for those with dry skin. Despite its thick and heavy texture, it's remarkably spreadable without pilling, even when applied generously. The finish is not sticky but rather smooth, and it absorbs quickly, so it's not particularly uncomfortable to use. The scent is reminiscent of old-fashioned bath emulsions, which might be challenging for those sensitive to fragrances. However, as someone with super sensitive skin who typically avoids fragranced skincare, I didn't consider this a drawback. Most impressively, the zero-waste packaging doesn't create plastic waste. Though it's worth noting that those without an empty container to transfer the product into might need to purchase a plastic case, potentially negating the eco-friendly aspect. As mentioned, this cream has significantly more oil than hydration, making it suitable only for those with dry skin. Not recommended for those seeking a cream that balances oil and moisture evenly. Due to its generous quantity, you'll need to transfer it into a spacious empty container. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2022
As soon as I received this product, I immediately smelled it and applied it to my cheeks, which are the least sensitive area. Since my cheeks are the driest part, it felt like it completely enveloped them. It's absolutely perfect for using on dry areas! I think it might be worth considering a different packaging method. The current package doesn't have perforated lines to tear along, so I just tore where it seemed intended. I can't help but worry that some paper particles might have gotten into the container along with dust while transferring the product. This might be a bit challenging for those with oily skin to use. Also, instead of hydrating the skin with moisture, it nourishes with oils. It's best not to apply it to areas prone to small blemishes like the nose, forehead, around the mouth, and chin. It works wonders when applied to dry areas, making the skin feel supple and nourished! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2022
I have extremely sensitive, atopic, dry skin with blackheads and large pores. The best thing about this product is that it's vegan and has reduced unnecessary packaging, which I really appreciate. When applied, it has a subtle, unique scent and forms a moisturizing layer that absorbs well into the skin! Personally, I've found that creams with high oil content often clog my pores and cause breakouts, but this one doesn't. A tiny amount covers the entire face, and it doesn't cause pilling when used under makeup. The downside is that you need to buy a separate container for the cream, and the price feels a bit high compared to its effectiveness. For convenience, you can transfer it to a refillable pump bottle from the dollar store. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2022
First off, it's great for the environment, which I really appreciate. Luckily, I'm the type who keeps empty containers, so I was able to transfer the cream into a 50ml jar I had, and it fit perfectly. The cream itself has a wonderfully smooth texture, like a body emulsion, and applies easily. I particularly liked that the scent isn't overpowering. Recently, my body skin has been more sensitive than my face, so I've been applying it there. Since I wear perfume, I prefer skincare products with subtle fragrances. I'm satisfied with both how well it absorbs and its hydration power. The sticker on the outside keeps falling off. It would be better if it adhered more securely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 4, 2022
Since Centella Asiatica usually works well for me, this product didn't cause any blemishes on my skin! I actually preferred that it was fragrance-free. The gentle ingredients were noticeably soothing for my skin, and I was amazed to see a slight reduction in redness. Even for a product from The Hwahae Testers, I was taken aback. It arrived as just a refill without any container. I understand it's for environmental reasons, but it was still quite surprising. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2022
Scent: Great that it's unscented, so it won't divide opinions. Reassuring that it doesn't contain added fragrances. Texture: Slightly thick but spreads smoothly. If you apply all your skincare products before makeup and then this cream, it might pill a bit. Consider reducing your routine to just toner and this cream at the end for better results. Feels like it creates a final moisturizing barrier. Should provide good hydration during dry winter months. Those with oily skin might notice a slight increase in sebum. Ingredients: Appreciated that it's vegan, gentle, and can be used with peace of mind. The packaging... While it's great they're considering the environment, having to purchase refills and the fact that those refills might end up as waste anyway makes me wonder if we're really back at square one. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 2, 2022
1. Scent: It's fragrance-free! I find unscented products better for face creams and moisturizers. 2. Hydration: With the changing seasons, my nose and cheeks were getting super dry, and I even had flaky skin. But after using this for a few days, people started saying my skin looked dewy and improved! It's incredibly moisturizing, and despite its rich texture, I've been using it alone or layering it over aloe (since I have redness-prone skin) with great results! 3. Irritation: Absolutely none. 4. Texture: It has an emulsion-like feel, but once applied, it's clearly a deeply hydrating moisturizer. 5. Finish: Like other super hydrating creams, it takes time to absorb. While it didn't leave me greasy until morning, I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types. 6. Overall impression: I was intrigued by the tiger packaging and researched the brand. I love that it's vegan and designed to be refilled in larger containers, which is eco-friendly. The 50ml size is good value, though I wonder if they could lower the price a bit since it doesn't come with a container. Thanks to this cream, my skin sailed through the seasonal changes and even 'that time of the month' beautifully! I highly recommend it. For mornings, I suggest using just a tiny amount as it takes time to absorb. The downside is that it might be inconvenient for those without a container at home. Also, considering it's just the cream in a sample-sized tube without a proper container, it can feel a bit pricey. My personal tip: Don't apply too much, or you'll spend all day waiting for it to absorb. Use a moderate amount before bed. I even use it on my lips! In the morning, apply sparingly. If you have time, let it absorb thoroughly. It works great as a night cream or sleeping pack too. Your skincare and makeup will go on beautifully the next day.
