I found this to be gentler on my skin compared to regular scrubs. I've been using it for almost a month now, about twice a week, and the granules feel just right for me. The level of exfoliation was perfect. After use, my skin definitely looked clearer and felt smoother. It's a bit dry to roll on without water. Adding a little water makes it glide smoothly. If you have super sensitive skin, you might want to think twice, but otherwise, once you start using this, you might not want to try anything else! Just add a bit of water and massage it over your face in circular motions, then rinse with lukewarm water. No need for a separate cleansing foam! As you wash it off, it creates a gentle lather for a second round of massage, leaving your skin feeling incredibly soft. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2022
The tiny granules seemed to gently sweep away dead skin cells. The exfoliation was more effective than I expected, and I appreciated that it didn't cause any pilling. After use, I felt like my skin's hydration levels had noticeably improved! Thinking it was for exfoliation, I initially applied too much pressure while scrubbing, which caused a burning sensation. However, when I used it again with a gentler touch, the burning feeling significantly decreased. It seems the key is in how much pressure you apply. I didn't use my fingertips to rub it in. Instead, I applied it using the back of my hand in a gentle circular motion. This method seemed to cause less irritation! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2022
The Hwahae Testers Review Reviewer's skin type: Sensitive skin with slight redness and deep dryness Ingredient analysis: They've made efforts to combat dryness and minimize sensitivity. Overall, the formulation is good. Texture and feel: Despite containing particles, it was less irritating than expected compared to other brands. It also showed definite effectiveness in removing dead skin cells. Ingredient analysis: While the overall formulation is good, I wonder if limonene was really necessary. Also, the high content of acids could potentially irritate sensitive skin. Texture and feel: It seemed slightly inadequate for tackling blackheads. The sensation of the particles is subjective, so it might feel sensitive to some users. Recommended to use a mask after application - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinOct 10, 2022
1. Gentle exfoliation: Unlike other scrubs with granules that can be harsh if used too vigorously or frequently, this one feels incredibly gentle on the skin! It's relatively safe even for those with sensitive skin. 2. Moisturizing finish: Many people complain about dryness or tightness after scrubbing, but with the Yeonji scrub, you can really feel how hydrated your skin is afterwards. 3. Vegan-friendly: In today's trend towards vegan products, this is a cosmetic I highly recommend for those who prefer vegan options. 4. Skin improvement: On days when you want to refresh your skin, you'll definitely see results. It leaves your skin feeling soft, smooths out dead skin cells and uneven texture. The next day, you'll notice your skin looks more refined and your skincare products absorb much better. 5. Overall satisfying results: When used as a scrub, it noticeably improves skin texture. It's effective for removing dead skin cells and refining skin texture. It's a product I'd be willing to purchase with my own money! 6. Packaging: From the first glance, the clean and natural packaging gives the impression of a truly gentle product. While some might think the simple pouch and label look insufficient, I personally love the scent. The combination of lavender and herbal notes creates a therapeutic experience that I find very satisfying. ☑️ The need to rinse thoroughly after use might be a bit bothersome. But it's an investment for your skin, right? ☑️ As it's a refill, the lack of a container made storage tricky. When left open, the exposed part hardened due to air contact. Controlling the amount used was also a bit challenging. ☑️ The price might make you hesitate a bit, considering the amount you get. When rinsing off after use, you need to wash for quite a while! There's a slippery feeling that requires thorough rinsing for perfect cleansing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 10, 2022
Fragrance: You know those scented wooden pillows you sometimes find in saunas? Maybe cypress wood? It has a similar pleasant woody aroma! I absolutely love this kind of scent, but those who don't enjoy strong fragrances might not be fans. Texture: This is my first time trying a scrub, and while I knew what to expect, I was pleased with the abundance of firm granules! They're like tiny salt crystals, if that makes sense? When I used it to wash my face the other day, I could definitely feel it gently exfoliating my skin. However, I was careful not to scrub too hard as that might be counterproductive. As a novice, it's hard for me to make detailed comparisons. Quantity: I was surprised when the package arrived! It was just a palm-sized pack, so I thought it might be a single-use product. Of course, everyone's usage may vary, but as you can see in the photo, after using it twice and transferring the remainder to an empty container, there's still quite a bit left. Based on how much I use, I think it could easily last for three more applications. I might be using too little, as I don't apply it all over my face, just on areas with more dead skin cells (forehead, sides of nose, chin). Anyway, it's definitely not single-use and should last for at least two applications! Since I haven't used it extensively yet, it's hard to write about its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells. I suppose, like most products, consistent use is key. However, based on my initial testing, I can conclude that it seems to be of good quality! I wonder if they sell it in a larger size? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2022
✓ A non-dripping, honey-like texture that's delightfully thick ✓ Tiny grain particles that feel like they're exfoliating every nook and cranny ✓ Instant glow and softness after using the product ✓ Noticeably gentle on the skin While I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging as someone who tries to practice zero waste, it might be a bit inconvenient for some users. You'll need to prepare a small container and boil the product before use. Although it's gentle, apply very lightly with your ring finger, especially on the cheek area. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 10, 2022
First off, I noticed it wasn't in a bottle, so I looked into it and found out it's an environmentally conscious product. I decided to use it by putting it in an empty container I had at home. It has grain particles, so those with super sensitive skin should be careful not to scrub too hard. I have combination dehydrated skin, and I tried two methods: once I applied the product, gently massaged it, then gradually added water to dissolve it while rolling. Another time, I immediately mixed it with a small amount of water and rolled it on before cleansing. I found that using the first method once a week was great for removing dead skin cells and excess oil, while the latter worked better for daily use. The results after using this product were absolutely amazing. My skin felt incredibly soft, and unlike other scrubs where the effect is temporary, this one left my skin feeling smooth even the next day. I loved how soft my skin felt during my skincare routine afterward. While the product is gentle and effective, the price point is a bit on the higher side. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2022
Since it's a scrub product, I couldn't use it too often, so I used it about 4 times in 10 days. When I used it on damp skin, it was incredibly gentle without any irritation. The product has a rich texture with small granules inside. What I loved most was the packaging! It's made of paper instead of plastic, giving it a very eco-friendly feel. I briefly worried about the product leaking if it got wet, but even now it's still holding up perfectly! Unfortunately, something didn't agree with my skin. After using it twice, I noticed blemishes appearing. I continued using it just in case, but small pimples kept popping up, so I had to stop using it. For those with super sensitive skin, rolling the product on damp skin can help reduce irritation! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 10, 2022
As the seasons change, my skin tends to get dry, sensitive, and accumulate dead skin cells. I occasionally think about how scrubbing makes my skin feel soft, so I decided to try it again after a long time. While I don't have acne-prone skin, I do have somewhat sensitive skin. Although this product's large grain-like particles (unlike salt that dissolves) were a bit harsh, it didn't cause any breakouts. Since the skin on our body is the same as our face, I found it particularly effective on my chest and back areas where I usually get blemishes from residue. It actually worked well there! The particles are a bit too large, making it slightly intense for facial use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2022
I purchased this product with my own money and here's my honest review: Overall: This is the scrub to go for if you're looking for one with good ingredients! 1. Ingredients Although scrubs are meant to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, which can be irritating even with the best ingredients, this product manages to be quite gentle! 2. Skin texture improvement The scrub particles are on the smaller side, which is great for smoothing out the skin texture. The size of the particles is just right, making it an ideal scrub in my opinion. 3. Foam It produces foam, which makes it much less abrasive than typical scrubs. I love that it not only exfoliates but also cleanses, giving you a two-in-one product! 4. Refillable I appreciate their consideration for the environment! While the refill isn't exactly cheap, I like that they offer this option instead of just selling new products every time. The fact that it's vegan and eco-friendly is a big plus in my book. 1. Price Wow... the price is... really high. Even for a refill, it's quite expensive. Even with discounts, it's still on the pricier side. While it's a good product, it might be difficult to purchase regularly due to the cost. 2. Slipperiness While the foam is nice, it does take a bit longer to rinse off, which is slightly inconvenient. However, the pros definitely outweigh the cons for this product, so this is just a minor gripe. It fits perfectly in Lush containers!
