I have super sensitive skin! First off, I was pleased and proud of the eco-friendly packaging that reduces waste. When I opened it, there was a scent that reminded me of herbs, traditional medicine, or something natural - it smelled healthy! I thought it was just for scrubbing, but when I added water, it lathered up nicely! It's great that it exfoliates and cleanses at the same time. After using it, my skin felt smooth and soft! I usually break out in blemishes just from changing skincare products due to my sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any! However, it did irritate my skin... it stung a bit and turned red. While the packaging reduces waste, I felt the amount was a bit much for a single use, which was disappointing. It might be better to store it in a reusable container or use it on both face and body at once! The granules were a bit large... so it irritated my face and I had to scrub very gently, but it still stung and turned red. I don't think I can use it often, maybe once every 1-2 weeks. It has a herbal or traditional medicine scent that might be hit or miss for some people. Using it in a reusable container could help avoid waste. I'm quite satisfied using it on my arms and legs, so I'll probably use it more on my body than my face! I would consider repurchasing this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 3, 2022
The scent has a strong herbal aroma! I didn't mind it, but those who are sensitive to fragrances might find it a bit overwhelming. As a scrub product, it definitely leaves your face feeling incredibly soft the day after use! Unlike some scrubs that can cause breakouts, this one seems to have gentle ingredients that didn't cause any blemishes! The price is quite steep considering the amount you get. Since it's a refill product, it's a bit inconvenient as you need to transfer it to another container to use. The scrub particles are more abrasive compared to others, so those with super sensitive skin might experience a tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 30, 2022
"This product was clearly created by a savvy marketer. You can see the thought that went into the product name and packaging." (Packaging) The packaging is wonderfully simple and eco-friendly, which I love. I actually reuse the yogurt-like container for my cosmetics after thoroughly cleaning it. I thought it might be a hassle, but it's not at all. You just need to wash the container and transfer the product - easy peasy. However, at 50ml, it's smaller than I expected when I first saw the package. (Scent) It must be the scent of centella... When you open it, there's a sharp, minty natural fragrance that rises up. It really suits the product name "Joseon Vegan Tiger". It's not subtle, but it's not overpowering either. (Texture) The texture is sticky like honey, so it could probably work as a mask too. You can see fine particles in it. (Application) I first tested it on my oily-skinned husband, who isn't sensitive and usually enjoys body scrubs. It's quite thick, so we mixed in a bit of water. Otherwise, it's a bit difficult to roll on. Mixing it with oil instead of water might work well too. While it does have particles, they seem to be just the right size. Some products cause excessive dead skin cells to come off during rolling, which isn't suitable for sensitive skin, but this one removes just the right amount. (After Use) When washing it off, it seems to have a cleansing effect as it creates a fine foam. The area feels silky smooth afterwards. My husband doesn't have blackheads, so it was hard to compare the before and after, but when we took photos in the same spot under the same conditions, there seemed to be less redness than before using the product, and his complexion looked more even. Additional Review It really shines when used in the bathroom. It's moist enough for easy rolling and foams up, suggesting a good cleansing effect. Especially when used on the body, the scent is refreshing and it feels great to use. There aren't many scrubs that can be used on both face and body, so it's great for that purpose. Even though my husband doesn't have sensitive skin and we mixed it with water and applied it gently, he said his nose and cheek area stung throughout the application. He immediately put on a soothing mask after using the scrub. He said the stinging sensation lessened after that. However, he didn't break out or experience redness after one use. The ingredients themselves seem to be mostly natural, so it shouldn't be too harsh, but those with dry skin might especially need to use it with an oil. It would be helpful if the manufacturer could recommend which oils pair well with the product.
