It really reduced oiliness, making it perfect for summer use. It tends to dry out quickly, so I recommend applying another cream along with it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJan 19, 2025
As someone with oily skin, I've noticed a reduction in facial oil production. I'm not sure if it's worth adding another layer to my face just to reduce shine. My skin is already oily, so I prefer to keep my makeup as light as possible to avoid feeling suffocated. Instead of this, I find using oil blotting papers once a day after lunch works much better for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 24, 2024
As someone with extremely oily skin that's like a grease factory, I use this instead of a moisturizer in the morning. I apply it generously all over my face two or three times, and the difference between using it and not is huge. On days I use it, oil doesn't appear until around 6-7 PM, but without it, the shine starts at 9 AM sharp! The absorption is fantastic - it has a light texture with no oiliness at all. The scent fades quickly, but it's pleasant and not off-putting. I've been using this exclusively for a year or two now. After loving the first couple of bottles and noticing how quickly I went through the small amount, I bought a bunch at once. Back then, I wasn't very budget-conscious, but now I realize it's quite pricey for the amount you get. I wish they'd increase the volume a bit. For your morning routine, focus on hydration for your base layers, then use this oil controller instead of a moisturizer. Whether you have combination dehydrated skin or oily skin, you'll be really satisfied with the results. As someone with super oily skin, I found using a gentle low pH cleanser, layering on lots of hydration 2-3 times, and finishing with just this oil controller was more than enough. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2024
Among primers that control oil, this one didn't cause any blemishes, itching, or a suffocating feeling on my skin. The only downsides are the small size and that it's not available for purchase offline. Rather than providing an immediate oil-control effect, it prevents oil from surfacing later. I highly recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin who frequently use setting sprays! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2024
It's great that it's silicone-free, so it doesn't clog pores. It effectively controls excess sebum, which is perfect for days when I'm not using mineral sunscreen or Cezanne Mebae, just doing my skincare routine. The absorbs well and a little goes a long way. The pointed nozzle makes it easy to control the amount and apply to specific areas. It's also suitable for combination dehydrated skin as it doesn't leave my face feeling too dry. The scent isn't particularly pleasant. Although it dissipates quickly, it's still not enjoyable. While it's effective at controlling excess sebum, it doesn't do much for pore care. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 3, 2023
Right after application, it controls oiliness and gives a nice, powdery finish As time passes, the oil still comes through just the same. If I only use this, it actually makes my skin produce more sebum, which always leads to breakouts - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2023
I kept getting blemishes around my eyebrows, so I used this on my T-zone. Since then, I haven't had a single breakout! When I apply this to my T-zone before makeup, it reduces oil production and I don't even need to use powder. It's fantastic! Honestly? I can't think of any downsides. That's why I'm on my third bottle! I've found it works best when you apply a thin layer before makeup, rather than slathering it on too thick. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 16, 2023
As someone with oily skin, I find this product does help control excess sebum. It's gentle on my skin and doesn't cause any major blemishes. While it may not be as dramatic as advertised, it's still impressive to have a product that effectively manages oiliness. There's an unpleasant, musty scent to this product that's quite noticeable. It's more intense than I expected, which makes it a bit bothersome every time I apply it. I'm not sure if it's related, but I've also experienced some redness on my skin. They recommend using this before applying sunscreen! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2023
It definitely reduces oil production. Easy to apply and the packaging is satisfactory. I'm a bit uncertain, so I've used it about 5 times, but each time I end up with lots of tiny blemishes. I'm not sure what's causing it. Can someone please explain? - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 29, 2023
The texture is moisturizing and absorbs well. It barely feels rich and spreads thinly even with a small amount. I bought it with some skepticism after seeing the ad, but it's not bad at all. I don't usually wear makeup, so I just apply this, and it controls sebum well enough that I don't need blotting papers all day, unless the environment is too humid or hot. Those with combination dehydrated skin might find it a bit drying. I'll update my review when I finish the small size. For now, I don't have any major complaints.
