Among primers that control oil, this one didn't cause any blemishes, itching, or a suffocating feeling on my skin. The only downsides are the small size and that it's not available for purchase offline. Rather than providing an immediate oil-control effect, it prevents oil from surfacing later. I highly recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin who frequently use setting sprays! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 6, 2024
It didn't seem to cause any major blemishes when applied, and I really like the fragrance I have extremely oily skin, but I couldn't really notice much of a difference, unfortunately - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 16, 2023
As someone with oily skin, I find this product does help control excess sebum. It's gentle on my skin and doesn't cause any major blemishes. While it may not be as dramatic as advertised, it's still impressive to have a product that effectively manages oiliness. There's an unpleasant, musty scent to this product that's quite noticeable. It's more intense than I expected, which makes it a bit bothersome every time I apply it. I'm not sure if it's related, but I've also experienced some redness on my skin. They recommend using this before applying sunscreen! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 24, 2022
❤️The Hwahae Testers Review❤️ As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I need to blot my face with oil-absorbing sheets daily while also ensuring my skincare routine is packed with hydration. 1. The gel-like texture makes it easy to apply, spreads thinly, and feels fresh without pilling or caking. 2. It doesn't cause any blemishes. 3. It controls oil while providing hydration. 4. It works great when applied only to specific areas prone to oiliness like the nose, sides of the nose, chin, and forehead. 5. The scent is pleasantly subtle - it's practically fragrance-free. 6. A little goes a long way for effective results. After using this product, I believe it has only advantages. As someone who developed acne in high school and still gets occasional breakouts, I'm cautious about what I put on my face. This product, however, works well for me. I plan to repurchase and think it's suitable for long-term use. I especially recommend it for those with combination dehydrated skin. I didn't find any downsides to this product. It doesn't cause my makeup to pill or cake, provides adequate hydration while controlling oil, and seems to be a great match for my skin type. 1. Recommended for combination dehydrated skin 2. Apply skincare thoroughly to prevent caking 3. Use sparingly to avoid pilling 4. Apply a thin layer to areas prone to excess oil - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2022
True to its name, this product controls oil better than I expected! It's more like a primer than a cream. I applied it meticulously to my T-zone before makeup, and it noticeably reduced oil production. I have bangs that usually get greasy by afternoon, but on days when I use the Dog Fat Controller, they stay fresh much longer. The ingredients are far better than most primers, and I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. They say consistent use can help with pore tightening and blackhead improvement, so I'm excited to keep using it! The quantity seems a bit too small. If you're only using it on your T-zone, it might be okay, but for a product meant to be used all over the face, 30g feels insufficient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
Absorption and application: The cream has a light consistency, making it easy to apply before makeup without feeling heavy. It absorbs well and glides on smoothly. Sensitivity: As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always cautious about trying new products. However, this didn't cause any blemishes at all! Effectiveness: It noticeably excels at controlling oil. While the product claims to have moisturizing properties, it may not be sufficient as a standalone moisturizer during this season. Additionally, if you don't have oily skin, I recommend applying it only to areas that tend to get oily (as mentioned on the product page as well). My skin type: Combination oily T-zone, with recent overall facial dryness. I applied it in this order: basic skincare -> this product -> sunscreen -> makeup. It effectively controlled oil without causing any dryness. Highly recommended for combination to oily skin types. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 18, 2022
The Hwahae Testers Review Usage period: November 10th - November 18th Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with slightly lacking moisture. No particular blemishes, but oily T-zone and U-zone. Unusually sensitive due to the changing seasons. 🥕 Oil-absorbing effect: 5/5 True to its name 'Oil Controller', it really keeps the excess sebum in check! This cream is unlike any I've tried before. It absorbs incredibly fast, leaving my skin feeling fresh and matte. Yet, it manages to keep my skin hydrated without any deep dryness. It's a cream that truly targets only the excess oil. 🥕 Primer + Longevity: 5/5 After absorption, it leaves a smooth, primer-like finish. This helps makeup adhere better and improves its longevity, almost as if I've applied powder. 🥕 Blackhead reduction + Pore minimizing: 4/5 While I don't usually struggle with acne, I've always been stressed about my skin texture and blackheads. After using this, I feel like both my blackheads and pore size have decreased. It's not a dramatic change (hence the 4 stars), but I believe this gentle approach is less irritating to the skin. No particular downsides. I think this will become a must-have item, especially for spring and summer! Remember, as with all skincare products, make sure to let it fully absorb before moving on to the next step in your routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
•Ingredients As someone with super sensitive skin, I was a bit worried before using this. However, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation, so I think the ingredients are quite good! •Performance Given its name as an 'oil controller', I focused on how much it reduced oiliness during use. Although I have dry skin, my forehead and nose tend to get shiny in the afternoon due to excess oil. So I applied an appropriate amount to these areas, let it absorb, and then applied my makeup. The result wasn't completely matte, but I definitely felt like there was less shine! Usually, I absolutely have to apply powder, but with this, I could skip it if I was feeling lazy! Personally, I found it worked even better on my nose, probably because it's a smaller area. Also, you don't need to use a lot for each area, and the bottle contains quite a bit, so I think it'll last a while. There's not really anything to complain about... I received this as part of the Hwahae Testers and I'm enjoying using it, but unless you're incredibly stressed about oily skin and feel like you need to do something, anything about it, it might not be worth spending money on. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
1. The packaging is thin, long, and lightweight, making it easy to store in an organizer or pack for travel. 2. It's like a primer, but no blemishes! I have combination dehydrated skin and sensitive skin, so I often get blemishes when using primers. I've tried famous primers, but perfect skin came with a price - blemishes! However, this product doesn't feel silicone-y like a typical primer. Instead, it has a light texture that spreads easily like a moisturizer. I thought it might be gentle on my skin, and truly, it didn't cause any blemishes! 3. When applied mainly to the T-zone, it has excellent makeup-setting power! Even after more time than usual, my makeup stayed on longer! My makeup used to melt away due to oiliness, but using this product definitely makes a difference. While it's great for setting makeup, I'm still wearing a mask, so when I try to touch up areas where the mask has rubbed off my makeup, it tends to pill. I think it'll work well once we stop wearing masks! Apply a thin layer in small amounts to the T-zone and butterfly zone where pores are more noticeable. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
I applied this mainly to my forehead since that's where oil tends to build up by noon or 1 PM. After using it, I noticed slightly less oil production, though the change wasn't dramatic. I think consistent use might yield better results over time. While some reviews mentioned blemishes, I personally didn't experience any significant skin issues with this product. The price feels a bit high for the amount you get, especially considering the effects aren't that dramatic. It's a bit too expensive to use both morning and night... I'd recommend using it once a day, preferably in the morning, as oil tends to build up throughout the day. This way, you can better manage your complexion!
