Right after application, it controls oiliness and gives a nice, powdery finish As time passes, the oil still comes through just the same. If I only use this, it actually makes my skin produce more sebum, which always leads to breakouts - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2023
It did mattify my skin really quickly after application. I thought that meant it would work wonders, but... Maybe it's because I have extremely oily skin, but I couldn't tell the difference between wearing it and not wearing it. My face just became an oil slick right away. Also, I got tiny bumps immediately after applying this, so it looks like I won't be able to use it again after just one try... It might be better to use this as a primer. Absolutely not recommended for those with super sensitive skin or acne-prone skin... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 16, 2023
As someone with oily skin, I find this product does help control excess sebum. It's gentle on my skin and doesn't cause any major blemishes. While it may not be as dramatic as advertised, it's still impressive to have a product that effectively manages oiliness. There's an unpleasant, musty scent to this product that's quite noticeable. It's more intense than I expected, which makes it a bit bothersome every time I apply it. I'm not sure if it's related, but I've also experienced some redness on my skin. They recommend using this before applying sunscreen! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 23, 2022
I noticed that when I apply this before my morning makeup, my skin seems less oily in the afternoon! Also, it feels more hydrating than other products and doesn't leave a heavy sensation on the skin! I'm not sure if it's because it forcefully blocks oil, but I noticed a lot of blemishes appearing on my skin... Unfortunately, I probably won't be using it much because of this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2022
Absorbs well: Incredibly smooth and adheres to the skin nicely, so you only need to gently massage it in. Absorbs well: It's absorbed into the skin within seconds of application. True to its name, it instantly eliminates excess oil from your face. However, it also dries quickly. While it effectively controls oil, it would have been even better if it had retained more moisture. Ingredients: It might not have agreed with my skin, but I noticed blemishes appearing the day after use. It's too drying for the current season, but it might be suitable for summer when I need to spend long hours outdoors. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2022
Before diving into the review, I have dry and sensitive skin! Please keep that in mind. 1. Scent As someone with sensitive skin prone to contact dermatitis when ingredients don't agree with me, I generally avoid strong fragrances except in perfumes. This product was practically unscented, which I appreciated. 2. Oil Control True to its name as a 'Dog Oil Controller', it seems to function as a primer. I usually avoid primers because they can be too drying or leave a coated feeling, but this one didn't feel suffocating at all. It was just right for my dry skin. 3. Application Building on point 2, while most oil-controlling primers have a matte and thick texture, this one has a moisturizer-like consistency that made it easy to apply. 4. Great Value for Dry Skin If you have oily skin, you might use this all over your face, but... well, I have dry skin. I don't produce enough oil to warrant applying it everywhere, so I only use it on my T-zone. This unexpectedly makes the product last longer! 1. Blemishes I'm prone to blemishes when there's excess oil or dead skin cells clogging my pores. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I experienced some breakouts after using it... I'll manage my skin carefully and try it again to see if it's not the product's fault before updating this review. 2. Not Recommended for Oily Skin While it's called a 'Dog Oil Controller', I think it might be more suitable for people who don't have excessive oil production, given that it works well for my dry skin. If you feel like you could shower with your own oil, I'd recommend a more powerful product! It should work fine for combination dehydrated skin, except for those with extremely oily T-zones. 3. Pore Minimizing...? It claims to have a pore-minimizing effect, but I personally wonder if this level of oil control can really reduce enlarged pores... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinNov 12, 2022
It absorbs well as soon as you apply it. I used to have hair sticking to my face after applying skincare, but with this, it's a whole new world - no more hair sticking! It keeps my nose and forehead oil-free and leaves my skin feeling fresh. This cosmetic really works for me. After applying it to my cheeks, I feel a slight tightness or tingling sensation. I'm not sure yet about its effectiveness on wrinkles and brightening.
