First off, this cushion is a ray of hope for my extremely dry skin. It's incredibly moisturizing, like applying skincare, and you can feel a cooling effect too. As the essence absorbs, it fixes with great hydration, so it barely transfers onto masks. It's truly my holy grail cushion! Oh, and the mesh net is fantastic, plus the puff has just the right amount of bounce. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this for oily or combination skin types! Also, the case doesn't open easily. The coverage is on the lower side, which can be good, but I wish it was just a tad higher... You need to give it some time to set properly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2023
Hydrating and doesn't transfer onto masks. Perfect for those with dry skin. The glow is no joke! Absolutely no coverage. It feels more like a brightening moisturizer. If you need coverage, look for a different product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 21, 2023
It's truly moisturizing as the name suggests, and surprisingly, it doesn't transfer onto masks as much as I expected. I read some reviews saying it leaks when placed on its side, but mine didn't leak, probably because I made sure to close it tightly. It doesn't really give that dewy glow, and it emphasizes dead skin cells quite badly. The coverage seems inferior to the Nu Zero cushion I used before. I tried it during dry weather, but it was more disappointing than I anticipated. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2023
The color is on the brighter side. Think of it as more of a brightening moisturizer. It applies thinly and can create a glowing complexion. It's a hydrating cushion, so it feels cool and moist when applied, but it's relatively low in oil content, which means it can easily accentuate dead skin cells if you have any. It doesn't transfer to masks at all, and there's no imprinting or smudging from mask-wearing. However, it does tend to fade rather than stay put, and doesn't last very long. For me, because the color is light, it can look a bit patchy as it wears off. I've tried mesh cushions from Chanel, Amuse, and Rom&nd. Based on my experience, I'll compare them: Coverage: Chanel > Rom&nd > Amuse. Hydration: Rom&nd > Amuse > Chanel. Glow: Rom&nd > Amuse > Chanel. Longevity: All three don't last very long. Mask transfer: Only Chanel transfers, Amuse and Rom&nd don't. Short-lasting and breaks down messily when it fades. While it's hydrating, the lack of oil means it doesn't retain moisture well. Among the mesh cushions I've tried, this one appeals to me the least. All three mesh cushions are great for a light, natural makeup look. If I had to choose just one, it would be Amuse. Amuse has a balanced oil content, so it doesn't accentuate flakes even when applied hastily, and even as it fades, it does so gracefully. Rom&nd and Chanel, on the other hand, can look patchy as they wear off and can emphasize dead skin cells if applied carelessly. That's why I find myself reaching for Amuse more often.
