  Pros

  I really appreciated the substantial massage feel of this cleansing oil. Many are too thin, but this one had a nice weight to it. I also loved that it seemed fragrance-free. I'm not a fan of artificial or strong scents, and it's hard to find unscented cleansing oils, so this was a pleasant surprise.

  Cons

  When I add water and roll it around, it doesn't emulsify as much as I'd like, which makes me wonder if it's cleaning thoroughly. After rinsing, there's a bit of residue that feels like moisturizer left on the skin.

  Pros

  It's quite moisturizing! The texture and scent are pleasant and non-offensive. You can get it at a great price when it's on sale.

  Cons

  I'm still figuring out the best way to use this... Compared to other cleansing oils, if you don't emulsify it more thoroughly, it leaves behind white residue that pills up.

  Pros

  I recommend this for those with dry skin who don't wear heavy makeup! Personally, I felt it left quite a bit of residue, so I was hesitant to use it on days when I wore makeup or my skin was oilier. When first massaging it in, it was the most oily yet gentle cleansing oil I've ever used! I also appreciated that it's fragrance-free. I've never experienced any blemishes while using it.

  Cons

  However, it doesn't seem to emulsify well, which might be why it leaves a residue on the face. I usually follow up my cleansing oil with a foam cleanser, but even after that, I still felt like something was left behind - though this might help prevent deep dryness.

  Tip

  It's not a big deal, but more product comes out with one pump than you might expect. The pump mechanism seems quite strong, so it dispenses quite forcefully. Try using half a pump at first, and if that's not enough, you can always add more.

  Pros

  First off, I loved how slim the container was. It's great that you get a sufficient amount with just one pump, without any effort. The oil didn't have that heavy scent - it was nearly fragrance-free. It seemed to remove face makeup well.

  Cons

  For me, it didn't have any standout features. I didn't particularly feel it was exceptional for improving skin texture or pore cleansing, so I had to massage it longer than other products. While I don't have issues with the formula, there was a slight oily residue after rinsing with water. Unfortunately, it barely removed waterproof mascara.

  Tip

  For those unsatisfied with its cleansing effectiveness, you might need to massage it in for longer. I found doing a second cleanse made my skin feel fresher. This cleanser seems well-suited for those with super sensitive skin who wear light makeup.

  Pros

  I have combination skin with occasional blemishes and large pores. My skin is sensitive to external irritants and prone to redness. Usually, I follow a complex cleansing routine: mascara remover, lip and eye remover, cleansing water, cleansing oil, then cleansing foam. This time, I skipped the cleansing water step and used this product for the cleansing oil step. (During testing, I kept my mascara remover step as it didn't remove mascara completely, and I thought it's better to use a dedicated remover than irritate the skin by rubbing.) The oil isn't particularly heavy, but it's not light either. You need to apply a bit of pressure when massaging it in. It's heavier than Shu Uemura's. There wasn't any notable scent. It emulsifies quickly, and I liked that there was no residue after using the foam cleanser. No blemishes appeared either. While oils can sometimes cause a burning sensation due to their strong cleansing power, this product didn't cause any such discomfort.

  Cons

  This might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin. After emulsifying, it doesn't rinse off completely clean. There's a slight oily film left behind. You'll need to cleanse thoroughly. Make sure to follow up with a foam cleanser after using this oil.

  ☑️ User Experience After applying it all over my face, there was no irritation and it gently dissolved blackheads! When emulsifying, it's a bit rich, and when rinsing off the oil, it felt like there was more residue compared to other products. When it meets water, it feels a bit like after applying cream? So for combination or oily skin types like me, I felt a second cleanse was necessary. After use, no blemishes appeared and the cleansing effectiveness was excellent, so I'm satisfied! ☑️ Texture It's thin and smooth! I liked that each pump dispenses a generous amount, so even two pumps are plenty. ☑️ Scent It's fragrance-free! To be precise, it seems to have the natural scent of the oil itself! It wasn't bothersome at all.

  ✔️ Oily residue It was disappointing that there's some residue left, so you need to cleanse thoroughly multiple times. ✔️ Volume Since cleansing oil is used every time you wash your face, it runs out quickly, so the volume seems like it will be used up fast, which is a shame.

  - Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin (oily T-zone), sensitive, eczema-prone, acne scars with occasional whiteheads and milia, oily under-eyes, prone to tearing so I use waterproof and oil-resistant makeup - Makeup removed during cleansing: Base: Ameli cushion + concealer, Espoir foundation (sample) Eyes: Clio gel pencil liner, Kiss Me brush pen liner, Etude House palette, Kiss Me mascara, Make Up For Ever eyebrow kit Lips: Forencos matte, A'pieu tattoo lip - Experience: Cleansing effectiveness: One pump provides enough product for thorough cleansing. After gently massaging for about a minute, emulsifying, and rinsing with water, it effectively removed makeup. A single cleanse left almost no residue. Packaging: While most cleansing oil containers are similar, I found this one great for travel. I was particularly pleased that the pump head can be locked by turning it on/off. Blemishes: This was my biggest concern. After a skin flare-up that changed my skin type, my dermatologist advised against using oils. However, since stubborn makeup is hard to remove without oil-based cleansers, I had to use one. I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. Although I've only used it four times, I'll need to keep using it to confirm long-term effects. Skin feel: After double cleansing, my skin didn't feel dry but rather moisturized. My skin usually feels tight quickly, but on days I used this product, there was no tightness at all before applying skincare products.

  Cons

  While there aren't major downsides, as you know, oil-based cleansers don't leave a fresh feeling after the first cleanse. You can definitely feel some residue and an oily sensation on the skin, so a second cleanse with a foam cleanser is a must. In my case, after finishing all cleansing steps, I wipe my eye area again with a cotton swab soaked in cleansing water or toner, and I could see a very small amount of eye makeup residue. This could be due to my improper cleansing, so keep that in mind. I've added a photo of the cotton swab with residue below for reference.

  Massage, emulsify, then follow up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse - essential steps!

  True to Bioderma's reputation for gentle products, this one didn't cause any blemishes, which I loved. It effectively removed sebum and cleansed well, taking off everything except mascara. The scent is pleasant and neutral, and my skin doesn't feel dry after cleansing.

  Overall impression: Based on oily and sensitive skin, the texture feels very heavy, and there's a significant moisturizing effect on both face and hands even after cleansing. Therefore, I highly recommend this for dry skin types. After rinsing with water post-cleansing, it doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling. Instead, you can still sense the oil lingering on your hands, indicating just how moisturizing this oil is. Many cleansing oils for oily skin types tend to rinse off completely, but this product is perfect for those with dry skin. It does an excellent job of removing makeup too.

  Cons

  As someone with oily skin, I found the residual feeling that goes beyond moisturizing a bit unfamiliar. It felt so hydrating that it seemed like the oil wasn't washing off completely. I usually alternate between Bioderma cleansing water and other brands' cleansing oils or emulsions depending on my skin condition, but this cleansing oil was by far the heaviest I've ever tried.

  I previously used Bioderma's water cleanser, but compared to the water type, Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil felt even gentler on my skin! Packaging and Convenience: The transparent, lightweight bottle allows you to easily check how much product is left. There's no excessive packaging, and the pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. Texture: It's an oil-type cleanser that applies with a slightly rich consistency. The thicker texture made me feel like it was less irritating to my skin during application. Cleansing Effectiveness: As someone who uses eyeshadow and gel eyeliner, I was satisfied with its cleansing power. Scent: As someone who enjoys unscented body emulsions, I appreciated that this product doesn't have a particularly strong fragrance.
