I would recommend this to those with dry skin who don't like to wear heavy makeup! Personally, I feel like there's a lot of residue left behind, so I'm hesitant to use it on days when I'm wearing makeup or my skin feels a bit oily. When I first started rolling it, it was the most oil-based and gentle cleansing oil I've tried so far! The fragrance-free scent was also nice. I didn't experience any breakouts while using it.

Normally, I would cleanse in a complex routine, using makeup remover, lip and eye makeup remover, cleansing water, cleansing oil, and cleansing foam, in that order. Here, I tried skipping the cleansing water step and using this product at the cleansing oil step. (During testing, I found that mascara did not remove completely, so I decided it would be better to use a dedicated makeup remover rather than relying on friction, so I did not skip that step.) The oil is not particularly heavy, but it is not light either. It requires a bit of effort to roll it around during application. It is thicker than Shu Uemura's cleansing oil.
