Many are too thin, but this one had a nice weight to it. I also loved that it seemed fragrance-free. I'm not a fan of artificial or strong scents, and it's hard to find unscented cleansing oils, so this was a pleasant surprise.
ConsWhen I add water and roll it around, it doesn't emulsify as much as I'd like, which makes me wonder if it's cleaning thoroughly. After rinsing, there's a bit of residue that feels like moisturizer left on the skin.

I've tried many oils, but this one feels the most water-like. It can splash a bit when pumping, but it's great for massaging when rolling. The scent is like natural soybean oil, which I prefer over synthetic fragrances. When I go out wearing only sunscreen, it seems to cleanse well and leaves a slight oiliness that reduces dryness. With mineral sunscreens that don't come off easily with foam cleansers alone, this product seemed to remove them effectively. The high-quality ingredients definitely allowed me to use it without any blemishes. I'm adding something I noticed while using other products: It doesn't sting even if it gets in your eyes. I think this is important to mention.
ConsIt seems less effective at removing color cosmetics. When I feel it's not cleansing well enough and use more pumps for rolling, it just feels oilier without that squeaky clean feeling - more like there's oil residue left. It also seems less effective at removing foundation, so I tend to avoid using it after wearing makeup. With other products, I use separate lip and eye makeup removers, but with this one, I find myself rubbing and wiping areas with heavy foundation. The cleansing effectiveness is somewhat disappointing.
TipIt seems to work well for cleansing after light makeup or sunscreen use. It appears to clean deep into the pores and could be satisfying for managing sebum. However, it's not ideal for removing full makeup.

This product, however, isn't a heavy oil, so it's less burdensome to use and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, not dry. It not only removes makeup effectively but also seems to dissolve blackheads, making it great for clearing out pores.
ConsThe price-to-volume ratio is a bit steep, which can be off-putting. Also, those who prefer a more vigorous cleansing experience might not enjoy this product as much.
TipYou can use it as an oil pack by soaking a cotton pad and placing it on your nose to dissolve blackheads. It's also great for removing eye makeup without getting product in your eyes, leaving them clean and irritation-free.

It effectively removes makeup and has good cleansing effectiveness. The pump works well, and there's no leakage. A little goes a long way, so it should last quite a while. The overall feel is similar to other cleansing oils, giving it a familiar sensation.
ConsI simply added this product to my existing skincare routine. After using it, followed by my second cleanse and exfoliating toner, my skin reacted badly. It seems there might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me. Post-cleanse, my skin doesn't feel squeaky clean, but rather slippery.
TipFor those who wear light makeup, I wonder if oil cleansing is really necessary.

While it doesn't give an intense emulsifying sensation, it cleanses effectively. The product is so mild that I didn't experience any blemishes even after using it for over a week.
ConsAlthough the instructions suggest it's okay to skip additional cleansing, I noticed some residue left behind. As I prefer a squeaky-clean feel, I've been following up with a foam cleanser twice. I think you'll need at least one extra cleanse as a rule. It's a decent product, but considering the price, it feels a bit too precious for everyday use.

My usual makeup routine is just a brightening moisturizer with SPF and lip color. This cleanser was effective enough to remove even long-lasting lipstick without a trace.
ConsWhile the oil itself doesn't feel heavy, if you don't thoroughly emulsify it with enough water, it can become thick and leave a residual feeling even after rinsing extensively. I prefer a smooth cleansing experience over a squeaky-clean feel, even with light makeup, so I typically only use cleansing oil for my first cleanse. However, with this product, I found myself needing to do a second cleanse about 4 out of 5 times. I'm also not convinced of its effectiveness in removing blackheads or whiteheads.
TipI don't have any tips to share yet.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsHere's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers. Among all the cleansing oils I've used, this one has the richest and most luxurious texture. It effectively removed my makeup. For liquid eyeliner, I needed to gently press on my eyelids to help dissolve it, but I think that's to be expected when removing waterproof products. What I loved most about this product is that even if it got into my eyes, it didn't cause much irritation. This was a pleasant surprise, as other cleansing oils often stung my eyes. The rich texture seemed to help dissolve sebum well during the massage. Among all the cleansing oils I've tried, this one left my skin feeling the least tight after washing.
ConsDue to its rich and oily texture, it tends to pill when emulsifying, and I noticed oily clumps on my hands. After rinsing with water, I felt like there was still residue, which always made me reach for soap afterwards. This could be seen as a drawback. For someone who prefers a refreshing clean feeling (if not quite squeaky clean), it's inconvenient to have to rinse for so long without using soap.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsAs a member of The Hwahae Testers, I had the chance to try this expensive micellar cleansing oil, and I'm impressed. I was already using a cleansing oil, so I was curious to see if this could be a potential replacement. The cleansing effectiveness is outstanding, and it's so gentle that I'd highly recommend it for those with super sensitive skin. There's absolutely no deep dryness, and it leaves your skin feeling incredibly hydrated and soft. Plus, it's nearly fragrance-free, which is a big plus for those sensitive to scents. If you have dry and sensitive skin or are particular about fragrances, this product is definitely worth trying.
ConsAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I felt it was slightly lacking, hence the one-star deduction. While it does cleanse well, if you're like me and prefer that squeaky-clean feeling, you might find yourself double cleansing after using this product. I personally followed up with another cleanser to get that super clean sensation. So, if you're a fan of that thorough, squeaky-clean feel, this might not be the best choice for you.
TipThis product comes highly recommended for those with sensitive skin, fragrance sensitivities, and dry complexions.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsAs someone in their 40s with dry, combination skin, I'm not usually a fan of oil-based products for the face. However, I was lucky enough to be selected as a tester for this product. Thanks to my second son who plays soccer (funny how that worked out!), I often use suncare products with high UV protection. Recently, my skin had been acting up terribly - from tiny bumps to inflamed blemishes. I was thinking I needed to pay more attention to cleansing when I came across this great product. It seems perfect for deep cleansing without irritation, especially during times when fine dust, yellow dust, and pollen are severe.
ConsPersonally, I prefer that squeaky-clean feeling after washing. So, unlike the product instructions, I didn't stop at emulsifying and rinsing with water. The typical oily residue remained, so I followed up with a second cleanse using a low pH product.
TipI found it much better to gently wipe off the emulsified product with a cotton pad before rinsing with water - it left far less residue. I've been washing with just water for five days now, without using any other cleansing products. Surprisingly, I haven't experienced any issues with blemishes or enlarged pores, which were my main concerns.
