Great for sensitive, oily skin - gentle and doesn't cause blemishes No tight feeling after cleansing The scent might be divisive - it's reminiscent of omega-3 oils. Personally, I didn't mind it How to use: 1. Remove makeup with cleansing wipes 2. Apply the oil and gently massage 3. Add a bit of water and continue massaging 4. Rinse off thoroughly - pk******RecommendedMay 9, 2025
I love how it doesn't leave an oily feeling after washing - it's a great final touch to my skincare routine! Personally, I find the texture a bit thick when applying, which is a bit disappointing. If it were a little smoother, it would be perfect for massaging into the skin. - kh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 1, 2025
A holy grail cleansing oil that combines cleansing and skincare in one go! I've emptied a whole bottle and repurchased it - that's how much I love it! This deep cleansing oil leaves your skin clean and hydrated without the need for a second cleanse. For those of us with sensitive skin, double or triple cleansing can be irritating, so it's best to use a single product that cleanses thoroughly yet gently. While many people need to follow up with a foam cleanser to avoid breakouts, I've been using just this micellar cleansing oil, and my skin has remained smooth, hydrated, and blemish-free! At first, I thought cleansing with just oil would feel strange, but I've gotten used to the moisturizing finish. There's no deep dryness after cleansing, and it's much gentler on the skin. Surprisingly, it even reduced my blackheads - it's like magic! After massaging with the oil and rinsing, my nose became super smooth and glowy. It even removed the stubborn whiteheads on my cheeks. I guess oil really is the best for dissolving sebum. It doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes and effectively removes my daily mineral sunscreen and eyeliner while leaving my skin incredibly hydrated. Is this the work of a cleansing and skincare powerhouse? As someone with super sensitive skin, I used to pack multiple travel-sized Bioderma cleansing waters for trips due to water changes, but this cleansing oil is just as much of a holy grail product! If your skin gets dry at the slightest touch of water, if you have sensitive skin that flushes easily, if you're irritated by various fragrances that clog pores, or if your skin's pH balance is off, try soothing your skin from the cleansing step with this micellar cleansing oil! It nourishes and strengthens your skin barrier all at once. The next day, you'll feel how soft your skin has become. If I were to repurchase a cleansing oil, it would definitely be this micellar oil. Day by day, my skin barrier is getting stronger, my dehydrated skin is improving, and I'm getting that glow - it's like my skin has been on a wellness retreat! There's nothing to complain about! It feels like I'm using it up quickly, but that's probably because I use it so often. I've tried many famous cleansing oils, but this one is the number one in my heart so far! The more you massage, the better your skin gets! Gently massage your nose, chin, and cheeks thoroughly, and all the dead skin cells will come off! You won't need separate exfoliating scrubs or peeling products! - kk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 7, 2025
This stuff is seriously amazing! Please, I beg you, don't discontinue or reformulate it. It completely eliminates blackheads and removes makeup so effectively. It's my absolute holy grail product! There's nothing to complain about, but I'm anxious it might be discontinued. I should stock up in advance. - cu**********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 2, 2025
While it's not the best at removing excess oil, I appreciate that the ingredients are gentle on sensitive skin. The price, though, is a bit wicked! It doesn't seem to be very effective at removing excess oil, and the price is way too high. - zn****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 21, 2025
Among all the cleansing oils I've tried, this one removes sebum the best. Its lightweight, water-like texture made me skeptical at first, but as you massage it in, you can feel the sebum rolling off under your fingertips. It's gentle on the skin and leaves a refreshing feeling, which I love. Being so light, it rinses off easily even without emulsification. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cleansing oil that effectively removes stubborn sebum. The only downside? It's a bit pricey for the amount you get. I actually switched to other cleansing oils because of this, but ended up coming back. Despite the cost, I can't help but keep using it. - sa****************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 13, 2025
An excellent product all around. The ingredients are great, and it has impressive cleansing effectiveness. Even those with super sensitive skin can use it without worrying about blemishes. It's a bit on the thicker side, so some might find it a tad heavy to work with. Use generously - se********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
1. The ingredient list is short, and all components are gentle and beneficial. 2. When I first used it, my skin actually improved. The visible calming effect was impressive, especially for a new product I was initially worried about. 3. It doesn't feel greasy; rather, it's more on the refreshing side. 4. It has good cleansing effectiveness, with a slight yellow tint and a scent reminiscent of lemon. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but I'd give it 4.5 if I could (I'm very strict with my 5-star ratings). I'll stick with this cleansing oil. However, while I saw noticeable skin improvement at first use, I haven't really felt that since, which is a bit disappointing. Also, even with the pump locked, it leaked in my bag during travel, so I have to double-pack it now. Use oil first, then water-based cleanser - gm*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
I was using a cleansing water before, but I forgot how sensitive my skin was and it ended up making my skin rough. Then I discovered Bioderma Micellar Cleansing Oil, and it's amazing! It removes sebum without stripping the dead skin cells layer. I love it so much! ✅ Before use, gently roll the cleansing oil on your skin -> As you roll, you'll notice sebum coming out ✅ Cleanse thoroughly by rolling with lukewarm water -> Even if it feels slippery, don't use a cleansing foam after this product as it might damage your skin. Use this product alone! Skin type: Super sensitive skin, redness, combination dehydrated skin Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent Since I'm not used to oils yet, I sometimes wonder how long I should rinse. But I found that if you rinse a bit, then cleanse again with a little water, it removes even better! So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes after using this product. - u1****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
From its ingredients, this is a product I wholeheartedly recommend. Having sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I often break out immediately when using the wrong cleansing oil. However, this product has never caused such issues. Moreover, while cleansing effectiveness is usually prioritized over ingredients in cleansing oils, this one excels in both areas. It removes almost everything except for heavy-duty waterproof makeup and some long-lasting lip tints like Peripera. The finish might be polarizing as it leaves a slightly slippery feeling. However, this can be easily resolved with a foam cleanser afterwards. Personally, I appreciate this aspect as it makes my skin feel less dry. On a side note, it's not particularly effective at removing excess sebum. If you're looking to address blackheads, you'd be better off using a specialized product for that purpose.
