Pros
I've been using it consistently since the Hwahae launch, and I love it so much that I'm leaving a review! Overall, my skin's dead skin cells have decreased, making my skin feel softer.😆 I didn't prefer oil cleansing because of my oily skin type, but I didn't experience any breakouts, and it was actually fine! I should buy it during the sale.🤭

This is a combination skin type that occasionally experiences breakouts and has large pores. It is sensitive to external stimuli and is prone to flushing. Normally, I would cleanse in a complex routine, using makeup remover, lip and eye makeup remover, cleansing water, cleansing oil, and cleansing foam, in that order. Here, I tried skipping the cleansing water step and using this product at the cleansing oil step. (During testing, I found that mascara did not remove completely, so I decided it would be better to use a dedicated makeup remover rather than relying on friction, so I did not skip that step.) The oil is not particularly heavy, but it is not light either. It requires a bit of effort to roll it around during application. It is thicker than Shu Uemura's cleansing oil. This is the best cleansing oil I've used so far in terms of blackhead removal. I always repurchase the Hwahae Trial Reviewer products that work well for my skin. This is definitely a repurchase item. As you can see from the ingredient list provided by Hwahae, the ingredients are gentle, allowing me to use it with peace of mind. I have been using lip balm and creams from Bioderma regularly, so I trusted and used the cleansing oil even though it was my first time. The lack of fragrance makes it perfect for cleansing - it's clean and refreshing. Cleansing Power As you can see in the attached photo, the cleansing power is amazing!! The waterproof mascara and eyeliner I use were both completely removed with just about 30 seconds of rolling. Even after washing, when I wiped with a cotton pad soaked in toner, there were no leftover foundation residues - it cleansed thoroughly.

Residual Feeling After Use Even after using the cleansing oil and washing my face with a cleansing foam, there is still a feeling of residual oil left behind. A very thin oil film is left, giving a coating-like sensation on my skin. As someone who prefers a squeaky-clean feeling after washing, this was disappointing to me. I really love the basic products like the Bioderma line - they're so gentle. This product is also gentle. This was the heaviest and most oily cleansing oil I've used! I thought it might have stronger cleansing power because of that, but that wasn't the case.🧐 It takes a really long time to emulsify with water, and you have to wash for a very long time to get the white oily residue to go away... Even after all that, there's still a lot of oil left, so on anxious days I'd double cleanse with a water-based or foam cleanser just to feel more clean! And I often use cleansing oils to decongest my pores, but this one didn't work very well for that.🥲
