It's really lovely (though subtle and doesn't last too long). The texture is light and it lathers up nicely. I tried it because of my oily scalp, and it definitely reduces the greasiness when I wash with this. It seems like I'm losing less hair too!
ConsIt feels a bit rough when washing my hair, so I don't think I could use this product every day.

After having a baby, my crown area started thinning noticeably. Between childcare and lack of self-care, it just wasn't filling back in. Then I had the good fortune to try Ryo shampoo, so I'm leaving an honest review. Luxurious Fragrance: This was one of the most satisfying aspects! The scent is incredibly sophisticated. I heard it's bergamot. If I repurchase this product, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say it would be for the fragrance alone - I absolutely love it. Rich Lather: Some functional shampoos don't lather well, leaving you unsure if you're washing properly. Not so with Ryo shampoo. The abundant foam made hair washing a real pleasure. Scalp Hydration and Dead Skin Cell Removal: When your scalp is dry, it can get really itchy after shampooing. I have extremely dry skin from head to toe, so I'm very picky about shampoo. This was my biggest concern before using it. Fortunately, after using Ryo shampoo, I didn't experience any itching at all. It seems to be quite effective for scalp hydration and removing dead skin cells.
ConsFeel After Use: The only reason I'm hesitant about repurchasing... the after-feel. Ryo shampoo makes my hair feel stiff right after washing. It becomes noticeably coarse even during the shower. While this might be unavoidable for a hair loss prevention shampoo, it's still disappointing.
TipAlthough I mentioned the hair stiffness as a drawback, using a conditioner alongside it helps significantly. (Everyone uses a conditioner, right?) While hair loss management is a long-term process, if the effects are noticeable, I'd like to use it consistently.

After using this for several days in a row, I definitely feel like I'm losing less hair during the drying process. It seems to have a bit of a cooling effect, which feels refreshing and nice when washing my hair.
ConsI intentionally tried using just the shampoo, but my hair felt so stiff! It was so rough that it seemed like I was actually losing more hair when brushing. Using a conditioner is absolutely necessary with this.

While I'm not usually a fan of artificial fragrances in shampoos, this one is truly pleasant. It reminds me of the sophisticated aroma you'd find in a high-end spa, a refreshing change from the medicinal smell of old-fashioned functional shampoos. Of course, being a shampoo, the scent doesn't linger long, but it makes the washing process thoroughly enjoyable! Hair loss: I was skeptical about seeing any changes since my previous shampoo was also for hair loss, but this one seems to provide a stronger grip on the hair! It feels like it's strengthening the roots. Even though I've only been using it for 10 days, I've noticed a reduction in hair fall. Volume: While it's marketed for women, my husband has been using it too and he's thrilled with the volume boost it provides! I have naturally heavy hair, so I didn't notice much difference, but my husband swears by the change. Overall, it lathers well and has a lovely fragrance, making it a satisfying choice.
ConsSince I recently dyed my hair, it felt a bit stiff rather than soft when I used this shampoo, so a conditioner seems necessary. However, this seems to be a common characteristic of all anti-hair loss shampoos.
TipFor best results, work up a rich lather before cleansing!

I have a short hippie perm, and the foam really covered my entire head while washing. You can see in the photos. Scent The scent is lovely too. If I had to describe it in one word, it's closest to a lemon fragrance. The aroma that bursts out as soon as you squeeze it is uplifting, and it lingers even after drying your hair. As the weather gets warmer, I think I'll be able to enjoy this refreshing sensation continuously. After Use When rinsing, there's no feeling of residue left behind, just a clean, refreshed sensation. My hair doesn't usually shed much when I wash it daily, but it tends to shed a bit more when I wash it every 2-3 days (isn't this normal for everyone?). So I'm not sure if I can say it reduces hair loss, but it does feel gentle, and thinking that it might lead to less shedding is reassuring. Texture In the photo, can you see how it flows slightly when tilted? The consistency is just right - not too heavy.
ConsHas shampoo always been like this? I'm genuinely curious because I'm not sure, but compared to the shampoos I've used before, this feels much more stiff. The shampoo I was using previously was made with natural ingredients, and I could get away with using little to no conditioner or treatment. I'm not just comparing it to my previous shampoo, but I feel like the Rootzen Women's Custom Hair Loss Care Shampoo leaves my hair feeling stiffer compared to other shampoos as well. Other reviewers mentioned that it wasn't stiff and that they liked it, so... I'm wondering if it's just my hair?
TipAs I mentioned, please make sure to use conditioner or treatment!

Scent: At first, I thought it smelled a bit like pine needles when shampooing. The description mentions bergamot and lavender notes, so I guess that's what I'm picking up. The scent is quite strong while shampooing and before drying, but it mostly fades once your hair is dry. Usage experience: I'm currently using another anti-hair loss shampoo that doesn't lather well, so I thought all hair loss products were like that. I was surprised by how well this one foams up. It creates a dense, creamy lather. Cleansing effectiveness: Perhaps due to the good lather, it feels like it cleanses thoroughly. I tend to have a lot of dandruff, but with this shampoo's strong cleansing power, I've noticed a significant reduction. Effects: I've been experiencing progressive hair loss since my late 30s. My hair has been thinning and falling out a lot, and my scalp is red and itchy. After using it daily for about a week, I feel like I'm losing less hair. It's not a dramatic change, but I used to clog the drain every time I washed my hair, and now I can see a gradual decrease. The redness and itching on my scalp haven't worsened, but I'll need to use it longer to see if these issues improve. There haven't been any irritations or side effects, so I plan to keep using it consistently.
ConsI bought only the shampoo to test its performance, and my hair feels extremely dry after washing. It's like washing your hair with bar soap. Oddly enough, once it dries, it becomes softer, but using conditioner or treatment is absolutely necessary. The scent is quite strong, so it might be best to use the matching treatment from the same line.

After using the product, there's no irritation and it gives a cool sensation. It noticeably reduces scalp oiliness and dandruff. I like that it lathers well and has a thin consistency.
ConsThe scent is harsh and strong. It stings if it touches any cuts. When it comes in contact with the skin, it can cause blemishes. It doesn't rinse off easily with water and leaves a tight feeling.
TipUse it together with conditioner.

My hair became quite damaged after being a hair model for an acquaintance, leaving it very dry and difficult to comb after just shampooing. My hair is also very fine, so without proper blow-drying after washing, it tends to get frizzy rather than voluminous. I was initially worried about how the ingredients would suit me, but the fragrance is wonderful, and I didn't experience any itching or stinging after use. I've been using it consistently morning and evening, and haven't developed any blemishes or sensitive reactions on my scalp. What I liked is that it cleanses thoroughly, and after use, even with just normal drying, my hair feels more voluminous, which is very satisfying! The scent is also incredibly pleasant. While some products that focus on ingredients are unscented or have less appealing fragrances, this one has a refreshing blend of herbal and mint notes.
ConsPerhaps because my expectations were too high, I'm quite disappointed! While I found the cleansing effectiveness satisfactory, for damaged hair, using just this shampoo leaves it very stiff and unpleasant. It almost feels like washing your hair with soap. Although it's labeled as an anti-hair loss shampoo, I think you'd need to use it consistently for over a month to see if it's truly effective, so I'll skip commenting on that aspect. I probably won't repurchase this. I'll likely look for another shampoo with good ingredients that leaves a softer finish.

That's why I applied for The Hwahae Testers event. I've been using it for just over a week, not quite two weeks, so it might be too early to tell about its effectiveness. As for the user experience, the scent is pleasant and it lathers up really well! However, since it's an anti-hair loss shampoo, I think the most important thing is how well it works for that specific purpose. I'll keep using it consistently and update on that aspect later.
ConsAfter rinsing out the shampoo, my hair feels stiff, like I've washed it with bar soap. I've tried other anti-hair loss shampoos before, and they felt similar, so I don't find this particularly bothersome. However, I think the main drawback is that it's not the most budget-friendly option out there.
TipI don't have any specific tips to share, but personally, I find that one full pump dispenses more shampoo than needed, so I usually just use a partial pump.

I was about to try an anti-hair loss shampoo because I felt like I was losing some hair, and then I got the chance to try this product I've been curious about through an event! 1. User experience First, I really liked how it lathers up nicely with rich foam! The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use too! After washing, it can feel a bit tight, but using a treatment afterwards seems to help! 2. Fragrance The scent has notes of lavender with a refreshing feel, which I really like! It's the kind of fragrance that would feel invigorating to use in summer too! 3. As it's an anti-hair loss shampoo, the effect on hair fall is important, but I think I'll need to use it more consistently to see results! I saw a review mentioning improved root volume, and I do feel like there might be a difference when using this shampoo!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that it feels somewhat tight after rinsing, but on the other hand, it gives a sense of thorough cleansing, so I think it's okay!
TipThe formula lathers up well when you mix it with water!
