  Finally finished a whole bottle! It's gentle, has a nice scent, and doesn't cause dandruff. It leaves my hair feeling refreshingly clean and detangles well.

  Cons

  It leaves the hair slightly stiff, so you need to use conditioner. I don't think it has any effect on preventing hair loss.

  Pros

  This shampoo really brings out the volume after use, which I love. Its cleansing effectiveness is so good that while I usually do a pre-wash and then wash twice, with this shampoo once is enough. The scent is quite strong, so it might be hit or miss for some, but I didn't mind it.

  Cons

  Perhaps because it cleanses so well, it leaves my hair feeling extremely stiff. As a result, I end up using a bit more conditioner than I normally would.

  First off, I love that it doesn't have that traditional herbal scent. It's refreshingly citrusy! As it's specialized for hair loss, I feel like I'm shedding less hair. It lathers up wonderfully and has great cleansing effectiveness.

  1. Scent A subtle, not overpowering lavender-like fragrance. It's not as strong as a perfume shampoo, but I really liked it. 2. Cleansing effectiveness I was worried that with so many features, its basic cleansing power might be compromised. But it cleanses thoroughly without causing dead skin cells to flake off. 3. Volume (++ important) On days when I needed a blowout, I used to use A*s volume shampoo, but I've switched to Ryo Root Zen shampoo! When I use the volume filler along with the shampoo, my bangs stay voluminous longer, and my hair maintains its body without getting frizzy. I'm very satisfied. I was looking for a volumizing shampoo, and this is perfect! 4. Hair loss Since I didn't buy this product specifically for hair loss concerns, I'm not sure if it's super effective for that issue. 5. Price It's cheaper than the expensive volumizing shampoos recommended at salons, but the ingredients and functions are absolutely not inferior. This is definitely becoming my repurchase staple!

  If I had to nitpick, some might find it makes their hair feel a bit stiff. But I think that's pretty common with volumizing shampoos in general.

  Tip

  I use the shampoo + treatment + scalp essence + volume filler together! This way, I don't need to blow-dry, and it styles beautifully. On rainy days, I just give it a light spray (just one quick spritz!) and it stays perfectly in place even after a date night out!

  I used to lose a lot of hair normally, and even more when shampooing. After trying various products, I happened to buy this women's shampoo on sale. With consistent use, my hair loss has reduced dramatically. I'll be sticking to this shampoo from now on. It's great!
