My skin is super sensitive, so I usually stick to my usual cleansing foam. But I was so satisfied with their feminine hygiene product that I decided to give this a try! First off, it's incredibly gentle and non-irritating! I'm thrilled that it doesn't cause any blemishes. It cleanses thoroughly and effectively! After washing, there's no squeaky-clean feeling, which makes me wonder if I've cleaned properly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 15, 2023
✓ Useful product for days when you only apply sunscreen ✓ No irritation ✓ Excellent lather We've all had those days when we only apply sunscreen or just a bit of lip color and base makeup for a quick outing, and using an oil cleanser feels like overkill. Especially since we need to apply sunscreen daily, doing a deep cleanse and double cleanse every day can be harsh on the skin and frankly, a hassle. That's where Illiyoon came to the rescue with this gem! They even named it 'Paku-sun,' which stands for Powder Cushion Sunscreen Removing Cleansing Foam! Normally, you'd need to double cleanse even if you only applied sunscreen, but this really removes it well. (I'll update with photos later when I can!) Of course, for waterproof or long-lasting color makeup, you'll still need a makeup remover. But for those times when you want a gentle yet thorough cleanse, this is my go-to product. It lathers up nicely and has great cleansing effectiveness, so it works well as both a second cleanser or on its own! There weren't any downsides! This is a cleansing foam that I think everyone will be satisfied with. If I had to nitpick, those who prefer a squeaky clean feel after washing might not love it as much. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 14, 2023
When I use cleansing oil, my skin often turns red, but with this product, I just need to dampen my face slightly. It creates a gentle lather and causes less skin irritation. The scent is practically non-existent, making it almost fragrance-free. As you can see in the attached photo, it effectively removes all my makeup except for mascara! I even double-checked with a cleansing water pad, and only mascara residue came off. One pump is sufficient for a thorough cleanse. After rinsing thoroughly with water, it doesn't quite give that squeaky-clean feeling... there's a sense that something remains on the skin. Initially, I tried using it without dampening my face, but the texture felt a bit stiff, causing some skin irritation. While cleansing oils generally require double cleansing, this water-to-foam product still needs a second cleanse if you're wearing heavy makeup. On days with light makeup, this product works fine, but for heavier makeup days, you might need a separate oil-based remover. For a gentler cleansing experience, always wash your hands before cleansing your face. Then, use one pump of the product with slightly damp hands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 12, 2023
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this product works for removing base makeup without color cosmetics. You know, there's always that doubt about whether a gentle pH-balanced gel cleanser can really do the job, especially when everyone insists on double cleansing for sunscreen and foundation. So, I decided to put it to the test on a day I only wore sunscreen. I applied it to my dry face with slightly damp hands, gently massaging it like a cleansing oil before emulsifying with water. Impressively, it cleansed quite effectively this way. I also tried it the standard way, as suggested in the instructions, and both methods left my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed. When I followed up with an exfoliating toner on a cotton pad during my skincare routine, there was no trace of leftover sunscreen. It seems to remove base makeup really well. I did attempt to remove lip tint and mascara with it, but that was a bit too much to ask - those usually require a dedicated eye and lip remover anyway. Typically, for a full face of makeup, I'd go through a three-step cleansing routine: lip and eye remover, cleansing oil, then foam cleanser. With this product, I can simplify it to just two steps: lip and eye remover followed by the Illiyoon Cleansing Water Foam. I'm finding it surprisingly useful in my current routine. It's worth noting that this isn't the type of cleanser that leaves your skin squeaky clean like some alkaline foams do, so those with oily skin might have mixed feelings about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2023
I love that this cleansing foam can be used in the morning routine! If you're someone who prefers that squeaky-clean feeling, you might find the mild acidity a bit underwhelming in terms of cleansing effectiveness. It's perfect for morning use. I used to just rinse with water in the mornings, but lately my skin has been producing more oil, so I've been happily incorporating this into my AM routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 1, 2023
The design is lovely! Since I've only had it for a short while, I find myself reaching for this product often. One pump is enough for a sufficient amount. When I pump it out, add a little water, and create a foam, it reminds me of the scent of crayons from childhood! I was a bit surprised, but the foam lathers up nicely, making it easy to wash off. The cleansing effectiveness is also good. Usually, gel-to-foam cleansers are less effective than regular foam cleansers, but this one really cleans well. It seems to remove even mineral sunscreen effectively. However... The scent might be hit or miss for some people. If you prefer a squeaky clean finish, you might find this slightly disappointing. After cleansing, there's no squeaky clean feeling, but rather a slight slipperiness remains. Personally, I prefer a more squeaky clean finish, so this aspect is a bit disappointing for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 31, 2023
I only use sunscreen without makeup, and this cleanser seemed to remove it effectively. There are two ways to use it - on wet or dry skin. I've only used it in the shower so far, but I anticipate it would work well on dry skin too. In the past, my skin felt very tight after cleansing, but with this product, my skin feels hydrated afterwards, which I really like. It's honestly so good that I can't find any real downsides. If I had to mention one thing, it might be that it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAug 31, 2023
It's a gel formula that turns white when applied over makeup! When you massage it in and then add water, it lathers up and cleanses your face. It removes base makeup well, but for those with oily skin, a second cleanse might be necessary. This product seems perfect for those with dry skin who need a gentle cleansing gel+foam that effectively removes basic skincare products. Those looking for a squeaky-clean feeling might find the cleansing effectiveness a bit lacking! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2023
I often double cleanse just in case there's any residue left after using cleansing oil and foam cleanser. I knew Illiyoon was famous for their great body products, but it's nice to see they've come out with a gentle foam cleanser too. I love that it's low-irritation with good ingredients! 🔅1. Appearance It comes in a pump bottle with Illiyoon's signature minimalist design, just like their body products. There's an open/close direction to prevent leaks, which is great. Just turn it in the direction of the arrow and pump to use. 🔅2. Texture It has a watery consistency. It's like a runny toner that flows when you tilt the bottle. It's thicker than some other products but still rolls on smoothly, and it's clear with no color. 🔅3. Scent There's barely any scent! There's a slight fragrance, but it's so mild you don't need to worry about it. It's similar to the One*Bath cleanser. It reminded me of a familiar scent, and I realized I have that product - the foam smells similar when lathered up. 🔅4. Blemishes/Cleansing Effectiveness I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes or tingling after use, which was great. If you massage it in circular motions, it lathers up into white foam after about 3 seconds. It feels like a rich gel but was gentle, and it removed sunscreen and basic makeup well. My skin didn't feel dry after rinsing. It doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean, but more smooth and supple! I'm satisfied! ▪️Packaging: Pump bottle with open/close direction ▪️Texture: Runny toner-like, gel-like feel ▪️No tingling / No stickiness ▪️Scent: Almost fragrance-free ▪️No blemishes ▪️No tightness after cleansing, not super hydrating but moisturizing ▪️Gentle ingredients - Nothing in particular - Not a squeaky clean feel, leaves a slightly smooth sensation - Massage in circular motions, then add a bit of water to lather up before rinsing off - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 29, 2023
After using Illiyoon Ceramide Derma 6.0 Cleansing Water for a week, here's my review: As someone with extremely sensitive skin prone to acne and combination dehydrated skin, I'm incredibly picky about skincare products. This one impressed me for several reasons: First, it's non-comedogenic, so it won't clog pores. Second, it's a cleansing gel, which is better for oily and acne-prone skin than cleansing oils. Lastly, it contains no harmful ingredients - just good stuff. It's rare to find a product like this! The texture is slightly thicker than other gels. It starts as a gel when dry, but lathers up nicely with water, allowing for a thorough cleanse and gentle massage to remove makeup effectively. My skin usually reacts badly to new products within a day, but I used this daily for a week without any blemishes or irritation! I'll definitely repurchase this product. The downsides? The pump isn't very smooth, probably due to the thick gel texture. However, this might actually be beneficial for travel, reducing the risk of accidental pumping. The scent isn't great, but it's tolerable. Given how good the ingredients are, I can overlook the fragrance. Lastly, if you prefer that squeaky-clean feeling after cleansing, you might not love this product. Cleansing gels typically don't leave that sensation. I follow up with a foam cleanser for a second cleanse to get that super clean feel. I've always done a double cleanse (gel followed by foam), so this routine isn't inconvenient for me. In fact, because this product is so gentle, my skin doesn't feel irritated even after double cleansing. My cleansing method: I first massage the product onto my skin with dry hands. Then I wet my hands to create a lather and continue massaging. This ensures a thorough cleanse!
