The innovative combination of oil and foam formulas is quite refreshing. However, for me personally, it didn't offer any significant advantages. It leaves my skin feeling extremely tight. The cleansing effectiveness is mediocre, especially considering how much it dries out the skin. There's a noticeable irritation. It stings my eyes terribly. I can't use it for morning or evening cleansing; what's the point of this product? Currently using it to clean my makeup sponges. Absolutely not recommended for super sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 1, 2025
It effectively removes light makeup like sunscreen and cushion foundation, even with just a small amount. Plus, the price is quite reasonable! The texture is too thick, making it difficult to roll on smoothly. Also, it stings my eyes, which is uncomfortable. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2025
On days when I only applied sunscreen, it was convenient and great that I could cleanse with this product alone. Even with a small amount, it lathers well, so I don't think the volume is insufficient. I plan to repurchase after finishing this bottle. If it gets into your eyes, it stings more compared to other cleansing products. So convenient to use on days when I've only applied sunscreen! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, I'm impressed by its excellent cleansing effectiveness without causing any blemishes. It's working great for me! It stings if it gets in your eyes, so I make sure to keep them tightly closed while using it. Pro tip: It lathers up even better if you wet your face first. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2024
It's so incredibly convenient as it effortlessly removes light makeup It stings quite a bit if it gets into your eyes, which is really uncomfortable - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2023
As someone with sensitive, dry skin prone to allergic reactions (which I initially mistook for milia), I've become a loyal user of Make P:rem cleansing milks, having gone through three bottles due to their gentle, non-irritating nature. I was intrigued by this product's no-emulsification-needed claim and its unique gel-to-foam formula, so I decided to give it a try! ✨ Effective Cleansing It removes my usual makeup (sunscreen, eyeshadow, and occasionally light foundation and eyeliner) thoroughly! While I tend to wear minimal makeup, this cleanser meets my needs perfectly for a simple, worry-free cleansing routine. ✨ Non-irritating I've always sought out super gentle cleansers due to my skin's tendency to sting and become irritated. This one is truly non-irritating. As it transforms from gel to foam, it cleanses without any discomfort. ✨ Easy to Use Unlike oils or milks that require tedious emulsification, this cleanser is so convenient. It lathers well and rinses off easily once you've finished cleansing. ✨ Appropriate Amount After using it alongside other products for about two weeks, I still have plenty left as you don't need much per use. ✨ Leaves Skin Smooth It leaves my skin feeling as smooth as if I've exfoliated. Even my nose, which tends to get oily, feels perfectly smooth. ❤️ Overall: I'm very satisfied and will continue using this, especially for evening cleansing on days when I don't wear eye makeup. I'm considering repurchasing when my current foam cleanser runs out or for those days when double cleansing feels like too much effort. Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent, but that's just my individual preference. It stings my eyes a bit. Since I don't typically wear heavy eye makeup and prefer to cleanse everything at once, I've started using a separate eye makeup remover before using this cleanser. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 14, 2023
- I was really eager to try this product since it claims to remove foundation, sunscreen, and cushion makeup with just one cleanse. - I loved that it has strong cleansing power without causing irritation. I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any redness or tingling sensation during or after use. - I usually only wear mineral sunscreen, and this product alone cleanses it off completely without any residue!! When I used similar products before, I always felt a subtle residual feeling and had to double cleanse, but with this one, I didn't feel any leftover product on my skin. - When applied to dry skin, it initially feels a bit stiff and turns white. As soon as you add water, it softens and lathers up nicely. After cleansing, my skin didn't feel overly dry or slippery - it was just right. - I highly recommend this to those who find double cleansing bothersome or are worried about skin irritation!! I definitely plan to repurchase when I run out. - Despite claiming to have passed non-irritation tests, it did sting my eyes a bit. However, it wasn't severe enough to make it unusable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 13, 2023
Here's my review after using it for over a week: Package: Environmentally conscious packaging. They've used recycled plastic. The label is easy to remove, making it great for recycling. I also loved the consumer-friendly detail of the twist-lock cap. Perfect for summer vacations when we use lots of sunscreen and light makeup. You can bring just this one product for the whole family to use. Texture: It's a 'cleansing water foam', but it's actually a gel. Not a light, soothing gel, but a thicker, more viscous one. User experience: There's a slight drawback. To cleanse sunscreen and light base makeup, you need to 'massage it onto dry skin like a cleansing oil to dissolve makeup, then rinse with water.' While cleansing oils are slippery and non-irritating when massaged, this product's thick texture can feel dry and sticky on dry skin, potentially causing temporary redness for some people, even without rubbing hard. To reduce irritation, you might end up using more product, which makes it slippery and requires more water to rinse off. This could leave your skin feeling drier. Personally, I found it a bit challenging to use. On the bright side, those who dislike the oiliness of cleansing oils might love this. Cleansing power: It easily removes sunscreen and light base makeup, but as shown in the photo, it doesn't completely remove thick concealer. It's perfect for worry-free cleansing when you're just wearing sunscreen, brow makeup, and lip color - no need for double cleansing then! Scent: It has a raw ingredient scent with no added fragrances, which I preferred. I have combination skin, and it left me feeling a bit dry. If you have dry skin and use this product for both the initial massage and the second water emulsification, it might be more irritating and drying. It can irritate the eyes. I felt a stinging sensation. I often just use it with water to create foam from the start, as I rarely go out wearing only sunscreen. When used as a cleansing foam, it lathers really well and doesn't irritate. The 250ml size will last a long time. I use it for morning cleansing to remove overnight dust and oil before my morning skincare routine. I discovered that due to its thick, viscous texture, it works great as a skin protectant when applied before shaving the upper lip area. That was a bit of a eureka moment! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 1, 2023
The product name 'Water Foam' made me think it would have a runny texture, but it's actually thicker than expected. This makes it feel a bit stiff when rolling it on the face. I usually only wear mineral sunscreen and a bit of concealer, and this cleanser removes them completely without needing a second cleanse! I haven't tried it with color makeup, but personally, I'm satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness. It used to be such a hassle to apply cleansing oil, emulsify, and then follow up with foam for a second cleanse. This product makes it possible to do it all in one step, which is so convenient. It's also great for mornings - you can just add water and use it as a foam cleanser. Perfect! After use, my skin doesn't feel overly tight, and I haven't experienced any blemishes. I'm not sure if it's just me, but if even a tiny bit gets into my eyes, it stings terribly... It doesn't seem to do anything for managing excess oil. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinAug 30, 2023
As someone with oily skin, I was initially hesitant to use cleansing oils and started with cleansing waters. However, the main drawback of waters is the need for constant wiping with cotton pads. This became too irritating for my skin, so I switched to cleansing oils. Recently, I had the chance to try the Illiyoon Cleansing Water Foam, and it's truly amazing. The product addresses the main issue I had with cleansing waters - the irritating wiping step. With this, you can gently massage it onto your skin for effective cleansing! It has a gel-to-foam texture that allows for a gentle cleanse, and you can even work it into a lather with water for a final rinse, similar to how you'd emulsify an oil cleanser. I prefer light makeup these days, and this cleanser is perfect - it's not as heavy as an oil but still removes makeup thoroughly and cleanly. It's lightweight yet effective! Illiyoon is a brand I trust, and this product is gentle yet removes makeup well! While I highly recommend this for those who wear light makeup or have sensitive skin and are looking for a gentle cleanser, it might not be ideal for everyone. If you typically wear full, heavy makeup, you may find the cleansing power slightly lacking, despite claims that it can remove foundation, cushion makeup, and sunscreen all at once. Also, be careful not to get it in your eyes as it can sting a bit! Like many cleansing products, it starts as a soft gel texture, so be cautious when cleansing around your eyes and forehead to avoid it getting into your eyes. For eye and lip makeup, always use a dedicated makeup remover! No matter how effective a cleanser is, it's best to use a specialized remover for point makeup.
