This is a truly well-cleansing product that is like a revolution in the cleansing water category. With its neat formulation, it provides a convenient finish that is easy to use. You'll need a slightly larger amount. It may overflow and spill out of the cotton pads. In the morning and evening, please remove fine dust and pollutants. My skin feels much more comfortable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 22, 2024
It removes base makeup incredibly well and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. Controlling the amount can be a bit tricky... Sometimes it pours out too quickly onto the cotton pad, leading to a bit of overflow. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJul 11, 2024
I switched from cleansing water to oil, but curiosity about the complimentary foam dispenser made me try this water again... haha! Personally, I don't see the benefit of using it as a foam, but it was an interesting experience nonetheless. The cleansing effectiveness of the product itself seems decent. I usually don't wear mascara, just eyeliner and eyeshadow, and it removes this level of makeup well. Using it with a cotton pad feels more thorough, but when I'm too lazy to rub vigorously, the foam option is not bad either. I also liked that my face didn't feel overly tight after use! When using it as a foam, it turns back into water before I can even rub it a few times, just dripping down... haha. I think I'll stick to using oil cleanser. If I hadn't tried oil cleansers before, I might have liked this for its good value and non-drying formula. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2024
Planning to repurchase after finishing my second bottle. Despite being a water-based formula, it cleanses quite effectively. It removes basic base makeup and sunscreen well. Contains niacinamide which helps with dead skin cell removal >> Improves skin texture. Hydrating >> No tightness after cleansing. Affordable price. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I really appreciate that it's unscented. Stings if it gets in your eyes. Need to be careful. Be cautious not to let it drip into your eyes while cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2024
I bought this to cleanse my skin when I couldn't wash due to wounds, and it's surprisingly good. The quantity is generous, and the ingredients are gentle enough that you can just wipe without rinsing. Unlike many products that make you want to use toner or other cleansers afterward, this one doesn't leave that feeling. It's also surprisingly effective as a cleansing foam. For those with dry skin who often only cleanse with water, this provides a very mild cleanse while still leaving you feeling fresh. The only downside was that it tends to drip down the sides when using a large amount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2024
When the cleansing water arrived along with the fine dust, I decided to test it without makeup. My curiosity was piqued from that moment, leading me to experiment further. While it's naturally more convenient than cleansing balms and oils, what really impressed me was how refreshing and effective it felt even when I just wiped off the fine dust. Plus, the second cleanse is optional, which is a bonus. I sacrificed an orange, leaving it at room temperature for three days to test the makeup removal ability. The results showed it was comparable to other methods. While the area cleaned with a balm felt oily, the spot treated with the cleansing water remained non-sticky. It truly excelled in terms of user experience. Even after using it to remove fine dust, I still did a second cleanse, but found that even a gentle wash was enough to leave my skin feeling clean without irritation. I loved that the cleansing water's ingredients were non-irritating and that a light second cleanse was all that was needed. It's rare to find a product with zero drawbacks, but this one fits the bill. The ingredients, quantity, cleansing effectiveness, and feel on the skin were all excellent. It didn't cause any blemishes either. I always think a trustworthy review should mention some downsides, so I searched high and low for something to critique, but came up empty-handed. The only thing I could think of was that it runs a bit when applied to a cotton pad, but that's just due to my clumsiness! I'm completely sold on this rare, flawless product. I keep a small amount out for daily use and store the rest in the refrigerator. It's too cold to use straight from the fridge! This would be great for those who like to remove their makeup right after coming home. I've been using it since the 4th, and even though I haven't used much, it manages to leave my skin feeling fresh and clean. It really takes care of everything. This is genuinely a must-have product that I highly recommend. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2024
I love how gentle and easy it is for my morning cleanse! Though it says you don't need to rinse with water, I felt a slight slippery sensation, so I finished with a quick lukewarm water rinse. As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, I've noticed less dryness and fewer breakouts. Once I finish this bottle, I'll definitely be repurchasing with my own money! The watery formula pours out quite quickly when trying to saturate a cotton pad, which makes me feel like I'm using more than necessary. It's a bit disappointing how fast it seems to run out. When I get home, washing my face feels like a chore, so there's nothing better than cleansing water for quickly removing makeup. Since I have seborrheic dermatitis, I prefer using gentle cleansing waters, and COSRX's version feels mild even after just one use. It's truly a kind derma product! As someone who carefully checks ingredients, I was pleased to see it contains niacinamide, which helps manage sebum and oil. Best of all, it includes allantoin, one of my favorite ingredients - that's a big plus! I loved it so much that I bought two more bottles with my own money. Ta-da! Now I have three in total. The downside is that the opening seems small, so it comes out in a trickle rather than the generous flow I prefer. That's a bit frustrating. I hope they improve that aspect. Since my skin is prone to severe dermatitis, I need to use a lot of product to avoid irritation, so I like to apply it very generously. It removes makeup well and is gentle, except for heavy-duty waterproof products. For waterproof makeup, soak a cotton pad thoroughly and leave it on for over 10 seconds before wiping - that works effectively. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 22, 2023
This feels like the most hydrating cleansing water I've ever used. It allows for a gentle and refreshing cleanse. The price is quite reasonable for the amount you get. Usually, after trying products as a tester, it's not easy to repurchase, but I think I'll buy this one when I run out! I like that it's gentler and more hydrating than other cleansing waters. As it's a cleansing water, you can't expect the same cleansing effectiveness as a cleansing oil. It takes more time to remove makeup thoroughly, or if you rub too much, it might cause irritation. But this is a limitation of cleansing waters in general, not specifically this product. The bottle opening is inconvenient and needs improvement. After applying it to a cotton pad, it drips, which is annoying as you have to wipe it off. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 15, 2023
⭐️Skin Type I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. Even my regular skincare products can cause irritation when my skin is in poor condition, and I always need an adjustment period when trying new skincare or cleansing products. Especially now that the weather is getting chilly, my redness has worsened and my skin has become incredibly dehydrated! ⭐️Cleansing Routine On days when I only wear sunscreen, I use a low pH cleansing foam. When I wear makeup, I use makeup remover and cleansing oil. I tried cleansing water once about 4-5 years ago, but I felt it was too irritating for my skin, so I hadn't used it since. ⭐️Pros -Gentle ingredients: Compared to other cleansing waters, the ingredients are milder, so I felt confident using it. -Hydration: Contrary to my worries, I didn't experience severe dryness between using the cleansing water and washing my face. -Fragrance-free: I strongly dislike artificial scents and prefer products without fragrance (except for perfumes). The lack of fragrance in this product made it more appealing to me. ⭐️Cons -Irritation: I'm not sure if it's my application method or just my super sensitive skin, but I experienced some redness and tingling on my cheeks! (I usually avoid exfoliating toners and try to minimize skin irritation.) -Packaging: After use, the area around the opening gets a bit messy from the cleansing water dripping out. -Cleansing effectiveness: It didn't remove mascara completely, so I had to use a separate makeup remover. It seems that saturating the cotton pad sufficiently helps reduce irritation! When washing your face after using the cleansing water, it's best not to rub too hard.
