It really removes makeup as easily as water, and absorbs beautifully. I've been using it for about 4 months, and at just 8500 won, it's incredibly affordable. The large volume is a fantastic bonus! The artificial fragrance is a bit strong, which is slightly disappointing. However, it didn't cause any blemishes, and I have no other complaints! It works great when applied with a cotton pad! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 10, 2024
I appreciate how gentle it is. Plus, it's great that they included a foam dispenser! The scent is off-putting, reminiscent of industrial chemicals. Not a fan at all. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2024
Using the set as directed, I experienced no irritation on my face and the cleansing effectiveness was truly impressive. The scent is a bit hard to describe, but it has a chemical-like smell that made me feel slightly uncomfortable during the first use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2024
I'm using it with a foam maker and I love that it's less irritating and the scent isn't overpowering. However, the fragrance itself has a slight industrial smell, which might be hit or miss for some people. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2024
It's clean and has great cleansing effectiveness. I use it with a foam dispenser, and it lathers up nicely. I love how it rinses off, leaving my skin feeling squeaky clean. There's not much to dislike, but it has a slight medicinal scent that reminds me of medicine. Try using it with a foam dispenser from Daiso as a cleansing foam. I use this for my first cleanse, and it's gentle with almost no irritation. It removes most makeup effectively, which I really like. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 9, 2024
At first glance, I thought the liquid was blue, but it's actually more transparent than other cleansing waters, almost colorless. It even removes tint effectively. The best part is that it doesn't sting my eyes, so I found it to be quite gentle. Compared to the product I used before, the only drawback of this one is that it has a much stronger chemical or petroleum-like scent. While it seems gentle, this aspect makes me question that. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinDec 21, 2023
Skin type of the reviewer: Oily & Dehydrated Effectiveness: It removes makeup well! However, for eye makeup, you need to leave it on a bit longer for easy removal. If you try to wipe it off too quickly, it barely comes off. Make sure to let it dissolve the makeup thoroughly before wiping. Sensitivity: I have somewhat sensitive skin, but this product doesn't feel harsh, so it's suitable for removing light makeup! However, it's not extremely gentle either, so it might not be the best fit for those looking for an ultra-mild product. When I rubbed it around my eyes, it stung a little, so those with very sensitive skin might find it a bit strong. It's a good daily option if you're looking for a product that's not too harsh and doesn't cause blemishes. Texture: After removing makeup with this, my skin felt a bit dry. I didn't notice extreme dryness since I followed up with a second cleanse right away, but there was a slight feeling of dryness. Quantity: There's plenty of product, so it should last quite a while. The scent is slightly artificial. It's not overpowering, but there's a hint of a synthetic fragrance. If you have very sensitive skin or are prone to dryness, this product might not be the best fit for you. I recommend using this as your first cleanse to remove color cosmetics and base makeup, then following up with a foam cleanser or another product for a second cleanse. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 20, 2023
Skin type: Combination dehydrated, sensitive, blemish-prone Texture: Non-sticky and refreshing Formula: Water-based Scent: Nearly fragrance-free First off, I absolutely love the gentle ingredients! The texture is refreshing, and it's almost completely fragrance-free. To test its cleansing effectiveness, I applied foundation, eyebrow product, liquid blush, and lip tint, then tried removing them with this cleansing water on a cotton pad. Everything except the lip tint came off cleanly - I could see it with my own eyes. I use light makeup for my daily morning commute, and this water cleanser did a great job removing it all over my face. No irritation and it cleansed thoroughly - I'm impressed! While I'll need to use it more to be certain, my super sensitive skin usually reacts badly to products that don't suit it, causing immediate blemishes and chaos. But this product didn't cause any issues at all, which is fantastic. I'll be back to update my review later. + Additional review I have extremely sensitive skin that becomes red or breaks out at the slightest provocation. However, this product didn't cause any of those issues, which is amazing. I discovered it through The Hwahae Testers, and I think I'll be using it regularly from now on! It doesn't remove long-lasting products like lip tints very well. Also, while I mentioned it's nearly fragrance-free, if you keep smelling it, you might notice a slight artificial scent. If you're looking for a more powerful cleanse, I'd recommend a cleansing oil. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 14, 2023
After using it for about a week, I found it to be a perfectly adequate, no-fuss product. It doesn't leave my skin feeling excessively dry or with a slippery residue. I love how it leaves my skin feeling fresh even when I only cleanse with water. If you're a cleansing water nomad, this might be the one to settle down with. The texture is neither more nor less than water itself. It didn't cause any blemishes on my sensitive skin, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or oily. It's a pass for me! The scent is... like ointment? A bit unique. Other than that, it's really just an unremarkable product. It's great to use instead of water cleansing in the morning! For those with dry skin who felt uneasy just using water, this is lighter than toner. You can gently wipe with it and then rinse lightly with water to achieve skin that's not too dry but feels fresh. In the evening, if you haven't worn full makeup but are concerned about fine dust, you can lightly wipe with this and then use a foam cleanser to help prevent blemishes! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 3, 2023
As someone with sensitive skin, I consider cleansing products extremely important. - Feel: Being slightly acidic, it removed makeup very gently. I loved the lightweight water-based formula that didn't feel heavy on the skin. After use, it felt like my skin retained its moisture, which was fantastic. It left my skin feeling fresh and hydrated! I didn't experience any new blemishes while using it. - Texture: The gentle water-based formula was great for removing makeup with a cotton pad without much irritation. When I used a generous amount, the benefits of the texture really shone through. - Quantity: I checked the price and it's under $10 on sale, which is great value considering the generous amount. It's more suitable for keeping at home and using liberally rather than as a travel-size product. - Packaging: The clean package design fits well anywhere. The packaging had a hydrated look which was pretty, and I appreciated the eco-friendly paper packaging. - Scent: There's a slightly artificial fragrance. - Cleansing power: It had a bit of that slippery feel typical of low pH products, and it's difficult to remove all makeup with just this alone. To be fair, I didn't expect a single cleansing water to remove all makeup completely. It works best as a first-step cleanser when applied generously to a cotton pad!
