It applies thinly and looks natural. The coverage is also good! For those with oily skin, after a little while, oil starts to come through when using this cushion... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMay 27, 2025
Adherence: Applies thinly and has good coverage Color: Not overly bright and no pink undertones, looks natural and nice Longevity: Excellent, with no darkening! It's quite matte, so without a solid skincare base, it can feel dry Therefore, it might be challenging to use in winter. I'm using it as a summer cushion, but it tends to settle into pores... Those with poreless skin might be satisfied, but I won't be repurchasing! This review highlights the product's good adherence and natural color, but notes issues with dryness and pore-settling for certain skin types. It suggests the cushion is better suited for summer use and those without visible pores. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 12, 2025
My first impression was that it wasn't as matte as I expected, but rather had a creamy feel! Since I usually prefer cushions that are truly matte with a powdery texture, this one felt less matte than even a semi-matte finish to me. I found that patting it on works best, and it's essential to control the amount you use initially, as too much product comes out otherwise. It applies thinly, and while it evens out the complexion and covers blemishes it's neither transparently sheer nor does it have a particularly pretty color, which made it feel a bit ambiguous. It didn't notably enhance the skin texture either. The adherence was somewhat disappointing, but considering that, the staying power was decent for about 6 hours. It wasn't perfect throughout, but touching up once with the cushion made it okay. In summary, it's a cushion that's fine for daily use, but it seems to lack a distinctive character. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 1, 2025
The ivory shade isn't too yellow and effectively covers redness. When applied evenly, even a thin layer provides good coverage, nicely evening out the complexion. For a #21 shade, it seems to give a bright finish. Despite being a matte cushion, I don't really notice any darkening. How it sits on the skin varies greatly depending on your base skincare. Even with oily skin, it tends to separate on my cheeks after a while. For a mesh-type cushion, it dispenses quite a lot of product, making it tricky to control the amount. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 29, 2025
It absorbs thinly, has decent coverage, and has just the right matte finish - I loved it! There's nothing particularly bad, but the coverage is slightly disappointing. It works well if you apply concealer on top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2025
Highly recommended! The color is beautiful and it applies in a thin layer. The finish feels wonderfully soft and powdery. The coverage isn't exceptionally high, but it's not bad either. I still recommend it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinApr 12, 2025
As someone with oily skin, I'm quite particular about my base makeup choices. The Hince Second Skin Mesh Matte Cushion really impressed me with how thinly it applies. It feels like it melds with my skin without any thickness, avoiding that suffocating sensation. I love how it creates a natural look, as if it's just evening out my complexion. I didn't find the coverage to be too heavy, which I actually prefer. Rather than completely masking blemishes or redness, it seems to enhance the natural texture of the skin. This makes it perfect for those who enjoy a more natural, 'no-makeup' makeup look. It's easy to apply evenly without clumping or spreading unevenly, and it holds up well over time without breaking down. What's particularly impressive is that even on my oily skin, it doesn't lift or gather in oily patches. It's become my go-to for everyday wear. I did notice a very slight darkening effect, so those who prefer a lighter tone might want to keep that in mind. Also, the case feels a bit cheap, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2025
I loved how it went on in a thin layer, beautifully enhancing my complexion I'm not sure if I got a faulty one, but the refill part kept falling out of the case. I had to use masking tape on the back to keep it in place - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2025
Light coverage... It gets better when you apply powder on top. Even with my sensitive skin, I'm using it well. I used to wear this when I had acne, but somehow I got blemishes after applying makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2025
Even though I'm not great at applying makeup, this product comes out evenly and spreads thinly with ease. It adheres well to the skin without any patchiness or lifting. It's perfect for my complexion. I might have chosen the wrong shade as it appears slightly dark on me. Other than that, no complaints.
