It has an incredibly cozy fragrance. You know how everyone does their oil cleansing at night, right? Well, this scent makes you so sleepy! It's like there's this constant pleasant aroma. I usually don't use scented products, but this one has such a subtle, lovely fragrance. The texture is a perfect blend of cream and oil - it's like a rich cream with oil mixed in? It applies so smoothly! I wondered if it could really turn into foam, but wow... the lather is no joke! What's even better is that after cleansing with this oil, you don't get that greasy feeling. It feels as refreshing as if you've done a double cleanse! Right after cleansing, your skin doesn't feel squeaky clean, but rather moisturized. I don't wear much makeup, but I usually do a first cleanse with a cleansing milk or water for sunscreen, then a second cleanse with foam. With this, I could finish cleansing in one step, which was amazing. The scent is absolutely my favorite!
ConsIt removes BB cream and non-waterproof mascara very well! I'm not sure about waterproof makeup since I don't use it. When you first pump it out and start rolling it on your face, it feels a bit thick. You shouldn't use too little when pumping it out!
TipAfter rolling with the cream oil, when you start rolling with water for the second step, begin with a small amount of water and gradually add more as you continue rolling. This will create a rich, abundant lather.

Because of this, I don't overdo the rolling when first applying it. Using it with a bit of water to emulsify works well. For me, it was effective enough to remove sunscreen and BB cream, feeling like a convenient one-step cleanser. While it doesn't feel lightweight, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after cleansing, which I'm really happy about. The scent is a typical cosmetic fragrance, though a bit on the stronger side. On the plus side, the scent fades quickly after washing.
ConsThe initial application can feel a bit stiff, which is disappointing. I have dry skin and sometimes experience redness and small blemishes when my skin isn't in good condition, but I didn't experience these issues with this product (after a week of use).
TipIf you're worried about the stiffness, try applying it with a bit of water to create a lather. I found this method works quite well.

As you massage it on your face, it transforms into a white cream-like consistency. Finally, when you add water, it turns into a foamy texture! Scent: It has a fragrance reminiscent of the cosmetics section in a department store! Instead of the typical citrusy scent associated with cleansing oils, it leans more towards a floral aroma. Feel: Being an oil-cream, it has a rich consistency that doesn't drip quickly. It beautifully combines the light, smooth qualities of oil with the softness of cream, creating a satisfying sensation on the skin. When it comes in contact with water, it creates a surprisingly fluffy lather! Unlike other oil or cream cleansers that can leave a slick feeling, this product finishes as a foam, leaving no residue. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated yet clean, without any deep dryness. Cleansing effectiveness: This is the first N-in-1 product I've seen that cleanses so well! While the instructions say 'oil to foam', I experienced it as a 3-step process: oil-cream-foam. This significantly reduces the number of cleansing steps, making it perfect for those who dislike complicated routines. Starting with an oil-based cleanse, it effectively removes even simple waterproof products. For those who wear heavy makeup, using a lip and eye remover before this product would result in an even more thorough cleanse!
ConsIt's not really a drawback, but you need to apply it to a dry face. If you expect it to feel like a typical oil cleanser, you might find it a bit thick at first.
TipFor those who typically do multiple cleansing steps, this product allows you to streamline your routine. You won't need to open and close multiple products - this one item can provide a thorough cleanse efficiently and conveniently!

I love how it lathers up nicely even with gentle rubbing and a bit of water, making for a pleasant user experience! ✨With its unobtrusive scent, I, being sensitive to fragrances, could use it without any concerns! ✨After using lip and eye makeup remover, I used this to cleanse my face makeup, and it removed everything thoroughly, suggesting good cleansing effectiveness.
ConsWhen first using it as a cleansing oil, the texture feels a bit thick, so you end up using quite a generous amount! This might mean you'll go through the product faster. Personally, I think a more fluid, water-like consistency would be easier to use. For me, three pumps were just right.
TipAfter applying the oil, don't immediately start vigorously rubbing to create foam. Instead, keep adding small amounts of water to properly emulsify the product before lathering. This approach seems to improve the cleansing effectiveness!

It effectively removes makeup like a cleansing oil while providing the deep cleanse of a foam. What's impressive is that it maintains the moisturizing properties of an oil cleanser, leaving my skin feeling more hydrated compared to using a foam cleanser alone. The cleansing effectiveness is strong enough, yet it doesn't strip the skin. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how it balances cleansing power and hydration.
ConsThe texture is quite thick and doesn't run easily. Some might find it a bit stiff when first applying it to the skin.
TipFor best results, apply to dry skin first, then slightly dampen your vibrating cleansing device. This method significantly reduces the stiffness and noticeably enhances the cleansing effectiveness.

It feels a bit stiff when massaging on dry skin, making it challenging to roll. However, once you add water, it lathers up beautifully and cleanses effectively! It removes base makeup like sunscreen, cushion foundation, and long-lasting tints thoroughly. For intense eye makeup like eyeliner or mascara, you might need a separate remover. The scent is... well, not particularly pleasant, unfortunately. While it's satisfying that you don't need a separate cleansing foam after using this, the price is quite high for the amount you get. Overall, it's a somewhat disappointing product.
ConsThe texture is somewhere between an oil and a cream? It's stiffer than cleansing balms or emulsions. When used on dry skin, it's too rigid to roll smoothly... Unlike cleansing oils, it doesn't effectively remove sebum or blackheads. This aspect might be the most divisive feature of the product.

I primarily used this cleanser in the evenings, and the aroma was so soothing that it made my cleansing time feel like a healing session. While I found the fragrance to be subtle, those who prefer unscented products might want to reconsider. Texture: Initially, it applies like a cleansing cream for massaging, then transforms into a foaming cleanser with a bit of water. It has a rich, creamy texture that's gentle on the face, and the hydration after rinsing is incredible! I have extremely dry skin, but my face doesn't feel tight at all. That doesn't mean it lacks cleansing effectiveness though. It removes makeup thoroughly while leaving my skin surprisingly moisturized! Hydration: I highly recommend this for those with very dry skin who experience severe tightness after cleansing!
ConsUnique thickness: When in its oil form, this oil-to-foam cleanser has a characteristic thickness. It's different from using a regular cleansing oil - it feels somewhat heavy and doesn't glide as smoothly during massage. If you dislike this sensation, you might prefer sticking to a traditional cleansing oil.

But with the Dalba White Truffle Return Oil Cream Cleanser, a second cleanse isn't necessary! Even though it combines cleansing oil and foam, I was skeptical that it would need a follow-up cleanse due to the oil. However, I was pleasantly surprised that using it alone left my skin feeling squeaky clean. It has great cleansing effectiveness without causing dryness, which I really appreciate (I have combination dehydrated skin). This cleanser seems to perfectly blend the benefits of cleansing oil and foam. It's so convenient that I can finish my cleansing routine feeling refreshed without needing a second step!
ConsThe texture isn't as soft as when you use a foam cleanser without water. I expected it to feel more like an oil since it has a runny consistency, but when I started massaging it in, it felt stiffer than a typical cleansing oil. I think this is due to the foam cleanser component. On days when your skin is particularly sensitive, you might need to be extra gentle when massaging it in.

All-in-One Solution The standout feature is its ability to handle double cleansing in one go. The texture is unique - initially, it's between an oil and an emulsion without water. When applied and massaged, it removes makeup like an oil cleanser, but it's slightly creamier than a pure oil, similar to a cleansing emulsion. After massaging to remove makeup, adding water creates a surprising foam for the second cleanse. It's perfect for those who want a convenient, one-step solution. 2. Cleansing Effectiveness Despite being an all-in-one product, its cleansing power isn't compromised. I tested it on bare skin with just sunscreen and on a full face with BB cream and eye makeup. It removed everything thoroughly without leaving residue. While it might struggle with waterproof mascara (which I rarely use), it's more than capable of handling daily makeup. 3. Gentle on Sensitive Skin As someone with dry, rosacea-prone skin that's currently dealing with inflammation, I was hesitant to try a new product. However, remembering the gentleness of other Dalba products, I gave it a shot. It proved to be non-irritating and suitable for sensitive skin. Unlike some cleansers that leave my face red or tight and dry, this one was gentle and comfortable. 4. Vegan-Friendly In line with the growing trend of cruelty-free and vegan products, this cleanser fits well with the current ethos of coexistence and ethical consumption.
ConsThe main drawback I noticed was that when first applied, it feels a bit stiff rather than gliding smoothly like a typical oil cleanser. This could be due to the cleansing foam ingredients, or perhaps I'm not using enough product. Either way, this aspect was slightly disappointing.
TipHere's a tip: I always cleanse as quickly as possible. My dermatologist emphasizes swift cleansing to minimize irritation. So with this product, I quickly massage it in, then rinse off with water. I'm satisfied that it causes less direct physical irritation to my skin compared to my usual double cleansing routine.

Using separate oil and foam cleansers felt like a luxury I couldn't afford. Luckily, I got to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers program! Texture: Thick consistency that doesn't drip Scent: Masculine fragrance (might be due to the truffle, but that's just my opinion) Cleansing effectiveness: Average Price: On the expensive side (personal opinion) ✓ Saves time for busy moms by combining oil and foam cleansers ✓ Decent cleansing power - no residue shows up on my exfoliating toner after use (I only wear sunscreen and lip balm when going out)
Cons× The scent might be polarizing for those sensitive to fragrances. For reference, I'm not a fan of cosmetic or woody scents × It doesn't glide on as smoothly as using a separate oil cleanser. It feels a bit rough before emulsifying with water × Not sure if it's just my product, but the pump isn't smooth. It doesn't dispense properly after one pump, requiring 2-3 pumps instead
