I thought it would be super convenient if it cleaned well. Plus, it's from Dalba, so I trusted it... haha! There's absolutely no oily feeling to it. It's more like an extremely thick cream? I felt like I had to really work to roll it on my face for cleansing. It seemed to remove everything well except mascara! Because of this, I plan to use it when I'm wearing light makeup or just sunscreen. As I noticed in some other reviews... If it gets in your eyes, it really stings! I wonder if it's because it turns into a foam cleanser when it touches water... It seems a bit risky for thoroughly removing eye makeup.
ConsThe texture is way too thick for a cleansing product. Be careful not to get it in your eyes! It doesn't remove heavy mascara well!

Usually, I remove makeup with oil and then use foam cleanser as a second step, but sometimes I skip the foam because it's such a hassle. With this, though, it's so easy - just one application and a splash of water for the second cleanse. It's super handy! Moreover, my skin doesn't feel overly dry after use. Some cleansers seem to strip everything from my skin, leaving it parched... but this one provides a nice, balanced finish that I really appreciate.
ConsCleansing effectiveness...? It might be a bit challenging to remove things like mascara in one go! I typically only wear sunscreen, so I'm very satisfied with it.

After cleansing, my skin feels hydrated. For those who go makeup-free daily, it's an excellent first-step cleanser. While I experienced blemishes with the Dalba cream, this foam cleanser didn't cause any irritation on my slightly sensitive skin.
ConsHowever, there are several drawbacks. For those who wear makeup, this product alone isn't sufficient for thorough removal. In my test (though the photo is no longer available), I applied long-lasting tint, cushion foundation, mascara, and eyeliner for 10 minutes before cleansing. The eyeliner remained slightly, while the mascara was barely removed. I suspect it wouldn't effectively remove sunscreen either. This foam cleanser is best suited for those with dry skin who typically go bare-faced, serving as a hydrating first cleanse. Given the abundance of quality foam cleansers available nowadays, the price point might make it a less appealing purchase.

After cleansing, perhaps due to the oil content in the product, my skin didn't feel excessively tight or dry. Apart from that, I didn't find any other particularly positive aspects.
ConsUpon opening the product, an incredibly strong fragrance hit my nose. It's the kind of scent that people will either love or hate. The smell lingered even after washing my face and applying skincare products. Personally, it wasn't to my taste, and the intensity of the fragrance, rather than being subtle, was quite overwhelming and difficult to deal with. As for its cleansing effectiveness, it was comparable to other foam cleansers. However, for heavy makeup, a double cleanse seemed necessary.

The feel, cleansing effectiveness, finish, and hydration are all fantastic. It removes makeup thoroughly, even exfoliating well. After rinsing, my skin feels so smooth. Even during the final rinse, my skin feels soft and silky - the texture is just wonderful. Unlike some low pH foam cleansers that leave my skin feeling slippery and overly moisturized, this one leaves my skin clean and hydrated, making me feel refreshed. Sometimes oil cleansers can be tricky to emulsify, but this transforms into a foam right on your face without a separate emulsification step. It's gentle with no irritation, which is great. I think this could be a holy grail for skincare enthusiasts. I'll definitely use this every night, even on days I only wear sunscreen. Now that it's getting chilly and my face tends to feel tight after washing, this keeps it truly hydrated! It leaves my skin soft and smooth with no residue. I'm really impressed!
ConsThere wasn't anything major to complain about, but you'll need a separate eye makeup remover for mascara. Waterproof mascara doesn't come off easily with this. However, it did remove waterproof eyeliner well.
TipThis is a completely satisfying product!

This made it less irritating on my skin, which I appreciated. Plus, it lathers up, giving you that satisfying clean feeling! Usually, after using oil or cream cleansers, I'd feel a residual oiliness that made me reach for a foam cleanser as a second step. But with this, you only need water to create a lather, making the routine simpler and more refreshing! ✔️ Cleansing effectiveness It does a great job removing light makeup like sunscreen and cushion foundation!
Cons✔️ Cleansing effectiveness It struggles with removing color cosmetics like mascara, tint, and eyeliner. You'll definitely need to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover before this cleanser for a thorough double cleanse. ✔️ Fragrance While I initially liked the scent when I tested it on the back of my hand, it felt overwhelming when I used it on my face. It reminds me of the artificial scent you'd encounter in a department store perfume section.
TipThis cleanser seems perfect for days when you're wearing minimal makeup - just sunscreen and a bit of lip color, rather than a full face of makeup!

It's a subtle aromatherapy scent that's not overpowering, so it's likely to appeal to most people. - Texture: Despite being an oil, it's not slippery as I expected. It has a mucus-like consistency. When pumping, you need to press firmly to dispense the dense formula, rather than it flowing out easily. Unlike some oils that drip down to your chin or elbows when applied, this one's density makes it convenient for facial cleansing. The best part is that it's not slippery! When you add a bit of water, it lathers up like a regular foam cleanser. The foam feels bouncy, probably due to the dense formula, and it doesn't leave any residue after rinsing. (The photo shows the product rubbed on dry skin without any water) I intentionally waited 15 minutes after cleansing before applying any skincare, and there was hardly any tightness. With regular foam cleansers, my cheeks usually feel very tight within 5 minutes. This suggests it maintains better oil and moisture balance than typical foam cleansers!
ConsDon't mistake this for a makeup remover - it's strictly a facial cleanser. While it's fine for removing eyeshadow and lip products, it doesn't work well on waterproof mascara. I tried to remove waterproof mascara with it, but it just irritated my eyes without effectively removing the product. For waterproof mascara, you'll need to use a separate makeup remover first!

The texture is surprisingly not too oily - it's more like a rich emulsion or cream, with a hint of honey-like consistency. The cleansing power is impressive! For someone like me who wears light makeup (foundation, blush, lip), this product alone removes everything perfectly. It's a game-changer! After use, my typically dry skin feels incredibly moisturized, not tight at all. Even after rinsing, my skin remains hydrated. The scent is quite strong but pleasant to me, though it might be polarizing for some.
ConsWhile I didn't find any major drawbacks, it's worth noting that for those who wear heavy makeup or use waterproof products, this cleanser might not remove everything completely. I tested it with waterproof mascara, and it didn't come off entirely.
TipFor those who, like me, prefer a fuss-free routine and don't wear heavy makeup, I highly recommend this cleansing foam! I'm so satisfied that I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. It's perfect for combination dehydrated skin and works hard to maintain that oil and moisture balance!

The texture feels just like applying cleansing foam to bare skin. It's a bit stiff before adding water, but once emulsified, it lathers up nicely. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel overly tight, which is good.
Cons1. Cleansing effectiveness: For a cleansing product, I think cleansing power is the most important factor. Unfortunately, this product doesn't effectively remove mascara or lip tints. It definitely requires double cleansing, which is a bit disappointing. 2. Packaging: After pressing the pump once, you have to wait a while before pressing it again. I've never seen this before... I suppose I'll get used to it, but it's rather inconvenient.

It's like a balm mixed with oil? That kind of texture. The scent is an incredibly sweet floral fragrance. My skin is extremely sensitive and delicate, so I usually can't use toner pads. I was worried that the thick texture might be too irritating, but surprisingly, it wasn't irritating at all. I often go out wearing just sunscreen, and double cleansing every time feels burdensome and bothersome. Because of that, I ended up not applying sunscreen as often. This product is so convenient, I love it! It removes foundation and light makeup well!
ConsIt doesn't remove waterproof mascara! (Photo shows Etude House mascara used)
TipIt's perfect for days when I only wear sunscreen or light makeup!! I'm so thrilled that I don't have to do a bothersome double cleanse when I've only applied sunscreen. I absolutely adore this product from Dalba! I find it truly revolutionary and plan to stock up on it.
