It's perfect for removing just sunscreen. When rolling it on, I loved that the consistency stayed put without dripping. After cleansing, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated.
ConsI felt some irritation when using it on sensitive skin. It stung a bit when applied to areas with redness or when my skin was particularly sensitive.

I have dry skin that's prone to tightness, but it took quite a while before I felt any tightness. ✨ Convenience The main reason for using this oil-to-foam formula is convenience. While it might struggle with heavy makeup, it seems to remove light base makeup effectively. ✨ Fragrance I usually dislike fragrances in skincare or cleansing products, but this one had a pleasant scent that wasn't overwhelming.
Cons🥲 Irritation for cheilitis My cheilitis flared up due to sudden weather changes. While this product didn't cause any major skin blemishes, it stung badly when it touched my lips. If you have cheilitis or skin inflammation, it might be best to wait until it subsides before using this. 🥲 Over-touching When applying the oil/gel and working it into a lather, I found myself touching my face more than I would with separate oil and foam cleansers. 🥲 Quick to use up Related to the over-touching issue, I ended up pumping out more product to minimize irritation from excessive handling. The product seemed to disappear quickly. Since it's not cheap, I would have been disappointed if I had actually purchased it.

Dalba has become one of my trusted brands after using their sunscreen, brightening moisturizer, and mist. I'm thrilled to be chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers for this product. Texture: True to its name, it has the perfect consistency for an oil cream. It's too thick to be called an oil, yet a bit runny for a typical cream. I'd describe it as having a honey-like texture. Cleansing effectiveness: I tested it on foundation, concealer, eyebrow product, mascara, eyeshadow, brush pen eyeliner, stick eyeliner, blush, and shimmery products. It removed everything effectively except for the eyeliner and mascara. I'm very satisfied with its cleansing power for most makeup, especially if it's not too heavy. All-in-one: As someone who finds double cleansing tedious, I'm extremely pleased with this product. When used without water, it feels like a rich cream. Once you add water, it lathers up beautifully. It's great that I don't need to double cleanse.
ConsPump bottle: Due to the thick consistency, the product doesn't come out quickly when you use the pump. You have to wait a while for it to dispense, and if you try to force it, nothing comes out. I think a squeeze tube might have been more suitable for a product with this texture. Sensation: While the product is great overall, it really stings if it gets into your eyes. Apart from this, I can't find any other downsides...
TipBecause the product is quite thick, you need to use a generous amount to apply it without irritating your skin!

The cleansing effectiveness was excellent. True to Dalba's reputation, even though I have super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. After cleansing, my skin felt softer, and when I used it in the morning without makeup, I noticed my blackheads were reduced and my skin texture improved!
ConsI've tried many cleansing products, but none have stung my eyes as much as this one. Even when used just around the eye area, it was very irritating. Despite this, I'm still using it because I like its other qualities, but I'd advise caution when applying it near the eyes.
TipIt's great for removing makeup, but it's also excellent for morning cleansing routines.

The texture feels more like a rich cream than an oil. When applying it to a dry face, it feels like you're massaging with a thick cream, and when used with water, it produces a moderate amount of foam. While it doesn't lather as much as a foam cleanser, it still creates some foam. Compared to using just oil, it's less slippery, removes makeup well, and I found it comfortable enough that I didn't need to double cleanse.
ConsThe scent is common in cosmetics, but personally, it's not a fragrance I'm fond of. Also, when using this oil-cream cleanser around the eyes, it can sometimes be quite irritating, so it might be better to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover first.

While it might struggle with pencil liners or mascara, it thoroughly cleanses cushion shadows and blushes. Even after using an exfoliating toner post-cleanse, no residue remains. • Skin feel Leaves skin feeling light without excessive dryness or oiliness. Unlike other cleansing foams that seem to strip all oil and moisture, this one doesn't leave your skin feeling overly dry. • Texture The texture is closer to an oil-emulsion hybrid rather than pure oil. Initially, it has a slightly thick consistency when applied to the skin, but it lathers up beautifully when water is added. • Removal of dead skin cells and excess sebum While it may not be as powerful as some oil cleansers or cleansing balms, it does a decent job of removing dead skin cells and excess oil without causing irritation. • Fragrance It has a strong cosmetic scent, but I didn't find it bothersome. It reminds me of the skincare products I used to smell on my mother's vanity.
Cons• It stings if it gets in your eyes The pain is similar to getting regular cleansing foam in your eyes. • Can cause tingling for those with atopic or super sensitive skin On days when my skin was particularly sensitive, I experienced some tingling around my mouth and eyes. This might have been due to using it during seasonal changes.
Tip• For heavy eye makeup, it's best to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover first Since it can sting if it gets in your eyes and doesn't remove mascara and eyeliner very well, it's better to use a dedicated remover first. • You can create a rich lather by adding water to your hands after applying the oil After massaging the oil-like texture onto your skin, wet your hands and work up a lather. The foam it creates is even richer than many cleansing foam products.

However, I'm not sure if the patented white truffle ingredient has any special effects. To use it, first roll it on like a cleansing oil or balm, then add plenty of water to emulsify for a good lather. This way, you can do your first and second cleanse in one step, which is convenient. Plus, my skin feels hydrated after cleansing.
ConsUnfortunately, the pump often fails to draw up the product completely, requiring multiple presses. I'm not sure if it's because the consistency is thicker than oil but thinner than balm, or if it's just a faulty pump, but it's quite inconvenient. More importantly, it stings my eyes badly during cleansing. This is the main reason I wouldn't recommend it. Cleansing is already a chore, and the eye irritation makes it worse. I wouldn't recommend this for those with sensitive eyes.

While I've always felt that oil cleansers remove makeup effectively, their downside is that you usually need to follow up with a foam cleanser. This product eliminates that extra step. - Applying it to dry skin to dissolve makeup feels almost like using a cleansing foam, but it's even smoother thanks to the oil blend. It has a satisfying, mask-like texture that feels nourishing. - Initially, there's a strong scent, but it gradually fades. However, a subtle fragrance does linger. - After spreading it evenly to dissolve makeup, adding water creates a foam that quickly covers your previously oily face. Overall, it's a satisfying cleanser!
Cons- One drawback is the tingling sensation in the eyes. As someone who usually uses gentle cleansers, I was surprised by how much it stung at first. While it wasn't a problem since I wasn't wearing eye makeup, the irritation makes it challenging to use around the eyes for a complete one-step cleanse.
TipFor best results, use an eye makeup remover for the eye area, and apply this cleanser like a mask, avoiding the eye and mouth areas. As time passes, you can see the oil dissolving the makeup! When rinsing, gently massage to create a soft foam for a thorough cleanse. It's a cleanser that can leave your skin feeling fresh and clean!

I usually use mineral sunscreen, so I've been doing a double cleanse. I was excited to try this product because it claims you don't need to go through the hassle of cleansing twice. The Hwahae Testers, listen up! This product has powerful cleansing effectiveness. If you emulsify it properly, it rinses off super clean. Right after washing, it doesn't give you that silky-smooth feeling you get from cleansing milk or light oils. Think of it as somewhere between a cleansing foam and cleansing oil! For my dry skin, there was a slight deep dryness. Highly recommended for those who love a thorough cleanse. The texture is slightly heavier than regular oils, so it doesn't run. Imagine a honey-like consistency! I often found oil cleansers inconvenient because they'd drip everywhere, but with this product, you don't have to worry about that. It's great at dissolving sebum. It's especially effective on whiteheads and blackheads. With the changing seasons, I know many of you are struggling with excess oil - this product is perfect for you!
ConsOnce you pump it, it's hard to pump again. It's a bit disappointing that the cap doesn't pop back up immediately. Maybe it's because my skin is thin, but I felt a slight tingling sensation after cleansing. It could be because my skin is super sensitive right now, but be careful when using this on days when your skin feels particularly delicate.

I'm definitely planning to repurchase when I finish this one. For someone like me who finds both applying makeup and cleansing a hassle, this is a revolutionary product. Let me list the good points: + After about a month of use, it's still so convenient and great! No side effects or discomfort like skin breakouts. 1. It transforms from an oil cream to foam with just water I always had issues with oil cleansers getting into my eyes and causing irritation while I was reaching for my foam cleanser. But with this product, I can massage my face with the oil cream to dissolve makeup and impurities, then add a bit of water to turn it into foam. Now I can protect my eyes! 2. Excellent cleansing effectiveness I was worried it might not cleanse as well as double or triple cleansing, but that concern was unnecessary. Its cleansing power is actually much better. Before, I had to massage for a long time with oil to remove makeup stuck in fine lines, but this product dissolves everything with just a little massage. It's the most effective cleansing product I've ever used! 3. Captivating fragrance The scent is absolutely divine. When staying over at my boyfriend's, I used to feel like my charm was going down the drain with my makeup, but the lovely fragrance of this cleanser makes me feel even more attractive. I'm personally surprised by how much I love the scent.
ConsThere aren't any major downsides, but if I had to nitpick: 1. Slight tingling sensation - I'll update after more use! This only happened during the first step, before adding water. However, it hasn't caused any blemishes or immediate issues. I think it might be the dryness you feel when using too little product on dry skin. I'll update on this after using it more! 2. Mild dryness When I say it's drying, I don't mean 'extremely dry!' It's just a bit drier than products made only with oil. I don't wear makeup often, and when I'm not wearing any, I use a gentle mung bean cleansing foam (not for makeup removal), so that might be why I notice the dryness more. It's not so dry that it's unusable.
TipIf you're worried about the downsides I mentioned, just keep one on hand for those nights when you've had too much to drink or when you come home from work or school feeling like a zombie. On days when you're too exhausted to remove your makeup, use this product. You won't regret it.
