I was pleasantly surprised by how good this product is. The way it applies and absorbs is like a luxury cosmetic. You can keep layering it without any pilling, and it absorbs well. It gives my skin a glow, but not an oily shine - more of an Inner Glow. I love that it's fragrance-free, so even kids could use it. My skin feels incredibly comfortable. I have no complaints about the product itself, but the only downside is that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 13, 2023
First off, the texture is fantastic! Being a cream, it definitely provides great hydration and absorbs into the skin beautifully. I'm also satisfied that it comes with a lid, which helps keep it relatively clean. A little goes a long way, and it spreads easily. I've used creams that were either too thick or slightly runny, which I didn't like, but this one doesn't run. It's more moisturizing than heavy, absorbs well into the skin, and feels light enough to use before makeup without any issues. I'm really impressed! The only downside is... well, just one thing - the scent! I prefer either unscented products or those with a subtle fragrance. This one has a sort of rubber-like smell? It's not really a scent I'm fond of, unfortunately. That's why I had to take off one star. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 12, 2023
A lightweight moisturizer that applies smoothly and effortlessly! At first, I thought it might be a bit oily, but it absorbs completely, leaving the skin silky smooth. Since I prefer richer textures, I mix it with oil. It's perfect for those who enjoy lighter hydration creams. Plus, one of my hands suddenly became rough and bumpy. I applied this cream for three days, and wow! It became incredibly soft and smooth. It's a decent moisturizer without any particular drawbacks. Since this hydration cream is on the lighter side, those with dry skin might want to mix it with oil for application! - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 11, 2023
The pump dispenser makes it easy to control the amount and is hygienic to use. It's an unscented, semi-opaque cream with a lightweight texture that absorbs well. I liked that it doesn't leave any sticky residue. When applied to skin that's become sensitive from cold winter winds, there was a slight tingling sensation. It tingles briefly before being fully absorbed, but might be difficult to use on delicate skin. Using it with a calming serum helps reduce this effect, and the tingling is noticeably less when applied in the morning compared to evening application. Even when applied generously, it absorbs completely. Using a liberal amount leaves the skin feeling more hydrated and prevents deep dryness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 9, 2023
My skin type is oily, but it quickly becomes dry and rough right after cleansing, so I need to apply skincare immediately. This cream provides just the right amount of hydration without leaving an oily residue, which I absolutely love! It has a slightly rich texture but spreads smoothly, giving a noticeable moisturizing effect. Being fragrance-free, it's also non-irritating. The amount is quite small, so it's not entirely satisfying considering the price. The dispensing part of the container doesn't seem very sturdy. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
I have extremely dry, stress-induced/hormonal acne-prone sensitive skin, especially in winter. These days, when everything I apply feels dry, even after a thorough morning skincare routine, it's the season where the air seems to steal all the moisture. I had the opportunity to try the Illiyoon cream and here's my review: - Smooth application/absorption/glow You can feel the silky texture, excellent absorption, and a finish that leaves a subtle glow. If I had to choose, it's slightly more on the rich side for a moisturizer, with a bit more oil than water content. It seems to provide good hydration without affecting blemishes. On the first day of use, I experienced an instant transformation with baby-soft skin. Though the dramatic effect lessened as my skin adapted, it's still a cream I want to keep applying! - No irritation/fragrance-free I have narrow, deep pores that tend to develop stubborn, hard-to-extract blemishes when my oil-moisture balance is off. However, I didn't experience any new breakouts, and it was gentle on existing blemishes. There's barely any cooling effect when applying - it's gentleness personified. - Fresh lime-colored airless container (right up my alley) I love the hygienic airless container that prevents oxidation. I often start using new moisturizers with a spatula but end up dipping my fingers in. With this, I feel I can use it fresh till the end. The packaging is simple and refreshing. The price point is a bit high for a 50ml size. You can't see how much product is left in the container. For dry skin in winter, it's not quite enough to use alone after toner. It pairs well with a watery, non-viscous toner. It feels like this cream doesn't block the absorption path of other products. For extremely dry skin, I apply a layer all over, then add an extra layer on cheeks and around the mouth, topped with another moisturizer. This definitely improves lasting hydration, reduces makeup flaking, and helps makeup last longer. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinDec 8, 2023
With the change of seasons, I noticed my skin was getting dry more easily and my skin balance was off. So I was thrilled to have the chance to try this comforting cream that promises to strengthen the skin barrier. The texture is slightly runny without being sticky, and it applies smoothly. It's not too heavy or too light - as someone with oily skin, I found it suitable for use year-round except in summer. With 8 types of hyaluronic acid, it deeply hydrates the skin, making it perfect as a moisturizer, especially in winter! Since it's not sticky, I had no issues applying makeup after my skincare routine. The pump packaging is hygienic, preventing direct contact with the product. As a vegan-certified product, it's great for those with sensitive skin. I used it for nearly a week without any blemishes! It's also fragrance-free, making it suitable for even those with super sensitive skin. Although I've only used it for a week and can't speak to its long-term effects yet, I'm hopeful that with consistent use, I'll see some impressive results! While the pump packaging is hygienic, it's hard to see how much product is left inside. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
First off, I loved that it comes in an airless container. When I initially applied it to my face, the texture was so light I thought it might be a hydrating moisturizer. It spread and absorbed beautifully. What's fascinating is that after application, it doesn't feel sticky or heavy, but there's a slight increase in substance? It's like it goes from super light to having a bit more weight, giving a coated feeling. Yet, it doesn't sit on top of the skin or fail to absorb. The scent is reminiscent of a forest, very natural. When I woke up the next day, I noticed my deep dryness had improved somewhat, and most importantly, for me, it seemed to even out my skin texture. My skin felt smoother overall. Given my age, in this season, my skin tends to prefer a slightly richer cream for maintaining optimal hydration. The moisture retention time was a bit short for my liking, so I found that patting on a bit of face oil with my palms afterwards really helped. It's great for use in the morning before makeup as it evens skin tone without causing pilling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 8, 2023
As someone with dry skin lacking both oil and moisture, I typically opt for thicker creams in winter. Here's my take on this product: Absorption: It applies smoothly like an emulsion. The texture feels light and glides on effortlessly. Hydration & Moisture retention: It absorbs quickly, which I appreciate. Interestingly, it also leaves a slight layer on the skin's surface, making it perfect for dry skin in winter. Unlike fast-absorbing products that often lead to quick dryness, this one maintains hydration without feeling heavy or sticky. The moisturizing power is truly impressive. Blemishes: As someone with dry skin, I didn't experience any breakouts. While I'm prone to acne when products are too rich, this one seems to strike the right balance. Value for money: Though it's a bit pricey, the high-quality ingredients justify the cost. I'd definitely consider purchasing it when it's on sale. Scent: It's fragrance-free, which should appeal to most users. The pump dispenser feels slightly flimsy, which is disappointing given the price point. It seems they may have cut corners on the packaging. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
I love the sleek pump bottle design. It dispenses just the right amount for the whole face with one pump, which is super convenient. The cream absorbs well, without any pilling or residue, which I really appreciate. After application, it leaves a soft, matte finish rather than feeling sticky. The quantity is a bit small. At 50ml, I feel like I'll use it up quickly. It's disappointing that you can't see how much product is left. It feels more rich than hydrating, so it's better suited as a final layer after applying hydration. For my combination skin, it worked well everywhere except my dry cheeks, where it didn't provide enough moisture as a finishing cream.
