I usually finish my skincare routine with a moisturizer and then this cream. I'm thrilled that it doesn't cause any blemishes on my super sensitive skin. What's more, when I wake up, my skin texture feels improved, and the hydration lasts even through my workday. When choosing creams, I often had to compromise between preventing blemishes and combating dryness, but this cream seems to strike the perfect balance. Despite its high hydration power, it absorbs well without feeling heavy. I typically don't wear makeup, but when I finish with this cream and just add some lip color before work, my skin has that coveted Inner Glow look, making it appear healthier. Even when I apply sunscreen, which usually dries out my skin and requires an extra layer of moisturizer, this cream provides just the right amount of hydration on its own. There's not really anything I dislike about it. Considering hygiene, I think it's better to stock up on several smaller containers rather than one large one. For those with dry skin, you can layer it multiple times or mix it with a serum when you're feeling extra dry. In summer, using it alone should suffice. If you have oily skin, you might want to apply a smaller amount. If you're experiencing blemishes after application, try using it as a final step after your regular moisturizer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 13, 2023
I have extremely dry, sensitive skin with only a slight oiliness on my butterfly zone cheeks during winter. This product is so gentle that despite my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes at all. My boyfriend also used it without any issues! After use, my skin feels incredibly soft. While I didn't find it exceptionally hydrating due to my extremely dry skin, using this product along with a cream toner and moisturizer provides sufficient hydration! My boyfriend finds this product alone to be enough, and he enjoys how convenient and effective it is. The packaging is beautiful, and one pump dispenses just the right amount for easy application. The clean pumping mechanism eliminates the need to scoop product out with your hands, keeping the surrounding area clean and preventing bacterial growth for hygienic use. I found the price a bit high for the amount of product. I'd be more inclined to purchase if there was a larger quantity or if it were on sale. While I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, the scent reminds me of medicine, which I didn't care for. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 9, 2023
The container was incredibly convenient to use. It was perfect for travel or trips to the bathhouse - so portable and sturdy that I didn't worry about dropping it or moving it around. The texture was a bit heavier than I expected, somewhere between an emulsion and a cream. As someone with oily skin who typically avoids very heavy formulas even in winter, I was a bit concerned. However, it didn't cause any blemishes or feel excessively greasy. When first applied, it seemed to sit on the surface, but after a while, I'd look in the mirror and be amazed to see that the shine had been absorbed, leaving my skin looking matte. This made it great for use before makeup in the morning, with no pilling issues. The scent was nothing special - just a basic fragrance similar to atopic emulsions. It's a neutral scent that shouldn't bother anyone. I'm really happy with both the performance and portability, so I'll definitely keep using it. However, I'm not sure how well it would work for oily skin types during summer. The only downside was that you can't see inside the container, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, I had no complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
Container convenience: Unlike typical creams that require a spatula, this one has an easy-to-use pump, which is super convenient. Gentle ingredients and low irritation: Despite being vegan and containing oils, it doesn't leave an oily residue. Personally, hyaluronic acid doesn't usually agree with my skin, but this seems different. I usually get small blemishes with hyaluronic acid products, but I'm using this without any issues. Texture: It's not a thick cream, but rather a soft, emulsion-like texture. I was initially skeptical about whether it would be hydrating enough, but I can feel it providing ample moisture even without applying a thick layer. While I really appreciate that it's blemish-free and vegan, I honestly can't think of any downsides. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
The lightweight texture makes it suitable for oily skin without feeling heavy. Being fragrance-free, it's suitable for everyone regardless of scent preferences. The absence of pore-clogging silicones seems to prevent breakouts and blemishes, even on oily skin. Despite having oily skin that can become dry and rough in winter, this Illiyoon Comforting Cream provides hydration and moisture without feeling greasy or heavy. The environmentally conscious packaging is a plus, even using soy ink for printing - these thoughtful details are really impressive. The packaging is slightly disappointing. The upper pumping part feels a bit thick, making it somewhat uncomfortable to hold. The packaging is slightly disappointing. * Skin type: Sensitive, combination dehydrated skin, blemish-prone * Usage: As the final step in your skincare routine 1. Texture The consistency is slightly thicker than a typical cream, but not overly heavy. 2. Absorption It spreads easily on the skin and absorbs well, adhering nicely to the skin. Even with base makeup on top, it maintains a hydrated layer that gives a subtle glow. 3. Blemishes So far, I haven't experienced any breakouts. 4. Effectiveness Previously, my makeup would look patchy and emphasize dead skin cells, but since using this product, I've been able to achieve a healthier-looking complexion. I believe the improvement in my base skincare made this possible, and this product seems to create well-hydrated skin effectively. Highly recommended! So far, I haven't found any downsides. I'm really enjoying using it... 📌 My Skin Type I experience facial heat and cheek redness. My skin tends to become red, itchy, or tingly when exposed to incompatible ingredients or irritants. I have combination dehydrated skin. 📌 Texture A soft, white cream. 📌 Overall Positive Review 1. No blemishes We always worry when trying something new, don't we? I was quite concerned, but surprisingly, I hardly got any blemishes! It's gentle and I'm satisfied! 2. Absorption To be honest, when I first applied it on my arm, it spread so well that I worried it might be an overly oily product. But it's not excessively rich - it just absorbs so well that I momentarily questioned its oil content! 3. Packaging I've always used tube packaging for hygiene reasons, avoiding jars. Using this pump-type container is so convenient. I think it's my first time seeing a cream in a pump bottle, which is quite interesting. +++Update 2024.3.3. I've finally finished it! When it got a bit dry, I returned to my original routine (toner pad - hyaluronic acid ampoule - moisturizer - cica balm). After running out of cica balm and finding the moisturizer alone insufficient, I applied this. It seems perfect for the current seasonal transition!! Adding one more star. For reference, 'current' here means mid to late February, which has been surprisingly warm. 📌 Dryness Well, for a moisturizing cream, it lacks hydration... I'm not sure if it's not moisturizing well or if it's just lacking in hydration. The absorption is fine, but later my eye area feels a bit dry and tight. I managed to improve this by applying more of the Wellage hyaluronic acid ampoule in the previous step. (I guess it's because I used to use a hyaluronic acid cream before this one.) Using this alone in winter might be challenging. It seems you need to apply hydration and a moisturizing barrier separately. Since I'm already doing that, it doesn't bother me much. +++Update 2024.3.3. It might be a bit dry for the coldest part of winter, but it's fine around mid to late February!! It's best to adjust usage according to the season. When you're almost finished with the product, the pump might get stuck and not come up well when pressed. Gently coax it up, then pump, and you can get about 2-3 more uses! Here's proof of my empty container! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
My current skin condition: - In winter, my U-zone gets particularly dry and prone to redness - While dry, my T-zone becomes oily in the afternoon (even with just sunscreen on) I appreciate that recent cosmetics come in eco-friendly packaging After opening, I did a patch test on the back of my hand. The texture was more fluid than expected, similar to a hydrating moisturizer I especially liked that it's fragrance-free. When applied to the face, despite its light consistency, it absorbed well and left a plump feeling Using it morning and night, I experienced no blemishes In winter, the area around my lips gets extremely dry, flaky, and tight. This cream alone isn't enough to address that For those with extremely dry skin, it might be beneficial to pat on a bit of facial oil after applying this cream - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
The product is gentle! No blemishes or irritation. The creamy texture absorbs well and applies smoothly. It's not too rich, so it absorbs well into the skin. After application, your skin feels hydrated. The scent is almost fragrance-free. I liked that the pump-type container made it convenient to use. For my combination dehydrated skin, especially with how dry it's been lately... It felt somewhat dry after a while. I wish it provided more hydration. It might be good to use a product that can replenish moisture in the skincare steps before applying this cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2023
First off, I love that it's fragrance-free. Overall, it seems like a solid, reliable product. The texture is slightly thick and elastic, but it doesn't feel heavy at all! It applies smoothly and glides on effortlessly. After application, there's a subtle glow, like you've put on a thin layer of oil. When I use it as a base before makeup, there's no pilling - instead, it creates a moisturized foundation. I was most worried about blemishes, but I've never had any issues using this product. It's not an intense hydration bomb, but rather feels like a well-balanced combination of oil and moisture! I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a slightly oily texture that strengthens the skin barrier, rather than those who prefer purely hydrating products. The packaging is beautiful, hygienic, and easy to control the amount - I'm a fan of the design too! There's a slight feeling that it might cause small bumps, but it doesn't actually happen. Overall, it's a decent product without any major drawbacks.
