It's a clear gel-type product with a non-sticky texture that absorbs instantly. I bought this after seeing so many ads when my skin was acting up. As someone with oily skin, I loved that it left no residue. First off, I saw absolutely no effect on my blemishes. While it didn't cause any significant irritation or new breakouts, there was no improvement whatsoever. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2025
The product was gentle enough that I didn't need to be overly cautious when applying it, and it absorbed well into my skin. It's a bit rich in oils, so if you have oily skin like me, you might find it a bit concerning. I found that if I applied toner, then spot-treated, and followed up with another layer of toner, it seemed to reduce the rich feeling. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 30, 2024
It provides an instant cooling effect upon application and absorbs well into the skin There's not really anything to complain about. However, when applied to areas where acne is forming, there's a slight tingling sensation - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2024
It doesn't pill and absorbs well. So I applied it with high hopes, but it seems it didn't agree with my skin... The first photo shows my skin before use (with one blemish), and the second photo is after use. I had to seek treatment at a dermatologist. I thought, 'Great timing! I have a blemish,' and applied it, but oh no... my skin got worse. After applying it over a larger area, blemishes appeared everywhere I put it. The existing blemish became even more inflamed. Since it's not a medical product but a regular cosmetic, it's unrealistic to expect 100% effectiveness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2024
As someone with sensitive skin prone to occasional blemishes on my face and body, I've become a fan of spot treatments. The PYCAM Centella Trouble Spot gel has been a game-changer for me! Its translucent gel-like texture absorbs quickly, making it perfect for my morning routine. It dries fast, saving me time when getting dressed or applying makeup afterward. I'm impressed with how it calms smaller blemishes overnight. The gel's smooth application makes it a pleasure to use! While it works wonders on small facial blemishes, I found it less effective on larger, inflamed spots on my body compared to my previous products. For these, it took considerably longer to see results. As a workaround, I've been using PYCAM for smaller spots and my usual product for larger ones, switching to PYCAM once they've reduced in size. Other than that, I can't think of any significant drawbacks. As mentioned in the cons, it does take a bit longer to calm larger blemishes. However, it definitely helps prevent them from worsening if used consistently. It's particularly effective when applied right after extracting a blemish - the next day, there's usually no redness left! I'd recommend applying a thin layer after popping a pimple or when your skin feels irritated. The key is regular application for best results! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 18, 2024
Among all the spot treatments I've used, including various pharmacy products, this one seems to be one of the most effective! It has a slightly opaque gel-cream texture and works best on freshly emerged red blemishes. When applied thinly before bed, it absorbs well, and by morning, the redness is noticeably calmed. However, if applied too thickly, it clumps up like jelly and falls off the skin. I'm not sure if this affects its efficacy, but I end up just peeling it off in the morning. Interestingly, it also seems to work well on folliculitis. Nothing! I find it quite effective, so I'm using it without any complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 17, 2024
✦✦✦✦✧ Soothing power The calming effect seems quite impressive! A great cream for inflammatory blemishes like pustules. ✦✦✦✦✧ Application Slightly oily like an ointment, but not too thick. Spreads smoothly. However, I deducted one star for absorption since gel-type spot treatments absorb much faster and feel lighter on the skin. Lack of cooling effect It would have been even better with a cooling sensation! Scent There's a slight raw ingredient smell, but it's not as medicinal as other regenerating creams, which is satisfactory. Price It's quite expensive... Since it's not an ointment, even though it's a spot treatment, it might be good to apply it to the areas surrounding the blemishes as well! Will I repurchase: No Honestly, at this price point, I'd rather look for more cost-effective spot treatments or oils. Plus, there are so many great over-the-counter ointments available... I'm not sure this product is competitive enough. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2024
I applied this right when I got an inflammatory blemish instead of using a prescription ointment! After 2-3 days, I could visibly see it calming down quickly! As a spot treatment, the small nozzle is great for dispensing just a tiny amount. The texture feels like an ointment, but when you spread it, it's not overly thick and absorbs quickly, which I love! Some might find it a bit rich, so if you have oily skin, I recommend using only a tiny amount on specific spots! On areas with small bumps like the forehead, it actually feels like it's creating more oil, so I avoid those areas and mainly use it on my cheeks! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2024
The texture is like a slightly runny, opaque ointment. It has almost no stickiness and applies with a bit of weight, but the absorption is incredibly smooth and it absorbs well into the skin. There's a faint herbal scent, but it's not overpowering and dissipates quickly. Even those with sensitive noses should find it tolerable! It does tend to pill a little. I thought I had let it absorb fully, but when I applied sunscreen over it, it started to roll off slightly. You might need to be careful when applying other products on top, or consider using it on its own. I think it works best when applied at night before bed, rather than during the day before going out. It's perfect for a quick skin texture refinement - just pat it onto problem areas, let it absorb, and then follow with your regular skincare routine!
