- The texture feels much lighter and less thick than typical ointments - It doesn't aggravate existing blemishes or cause new ones where applied - There's a subtle herbal scent, possibly from Centella, but it's not unpleasant (unlike the strong, peculiar smell of some Centella toners) - It's comforting to have this as an emergency spot treatment when you feel a big pimple coming on - Didn't see much effect on small bumps during the usage period, though I didn't experience any major blemishes to test it on - Slight pilling when applying sunscreen or foundation over it - For those dealing with small bumps, using AHA for dead skin cell removal and focusing on hydration might be more effective Recommend applying this long before makeup or the night before. It seems more suited for larger, inflamed pimples or emerging whiteheads rather than small bumps (appears to be designed specifically for bigger blemishes, not small bumps) - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2024
This is the product I've been most satisfied with among all The Hwahae Testers reviews! The day it arrived, I happened to get a pimple. It seems to work well on those hard, painful blemishes that are filled inside. If you apply a thick layer before bed, almost like you're placing it on top, the redness is significantly reduced by the next morning. Repeat this for a few days, and it noticeably fades! While it won't prevent scarring if you apply it after extracting, it works best when applied at the first sign of a painful blemish coming up. It has absolutely no effect on small, bumpy blemishes (it might be good for people who occasionally get larger pimples). Even if you apply it and let it dry before putting on makeup, it pills off like dead skin cells because of its gel texture. Since you can see results just by applying it at night, there's probably no need to use it during the day. Apply a generous amount before bed without extracting! I cut Dewytree cotton pads into smaller pieces, placed them on top, and slept like that. It didn't stain my pillow, added a cooling effect, and was great for soothing my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2024
Texture/Scent: The texture is a semi-transparent, rich cream. The scent is a subtle, pleasant herbal aroma without being overpowering. Experience: I started using this product when I had some active blemishes and nearly healed scars. Here's my journey: Days 1-2: No significant changes. Skin seemed calmer in the morning, but blemishes resurfaced in the evening. Day 3: Applied a thick layer overnight on popped blemishes. In the morning, I noticed the wounds starting to heal. Impressively, when I applied makeup, the blemishes didn't look raised or obvious. The soothing effect was evident, and it seemed to work on scars too, helping them fade faster. Day 7: Scars had significantly faded! Light makeup was enough to conceal them, and even the wounded areas of previous blemishes were barely noticeable with makeup. It's amazing how this fuss-free product works overnight to calm the skin. With consistent use, I believe it could show rapid improvements. While I started using it on progressed blemishes, I think it would be even more effective when applied at the first signs of a breakout. When I applied it too thickly, it would pill off like dead skin cells when I wiped it off in the morning. However, this wasn't a major issue since it only happened after sleeping, and could be easily removed. When I applied a thin layer before makeup during the day, it was fine. I loved that I could apply a thin layer under my makeup during the day. It felt like I was treating my blemishes even during daytime! It might be psychological, but it seemed like my skin was less irritated because of this continuous care. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2024
The texture is like a slightly runny, opaque ointment. It has almost no stickiness and applies with a bit of weight, but the absorption is incredibly smooth and it absorbs well into the skin. There's a faint herbal scent, but it's not overpowering and dissipates quickly. Even those with sensitive noses should find it tolerable! It does tend to pill a little. I thought I had let it absorb fully, but when I applied sunscreen over it, it started to roll off slightly. You might need to be careful when applying other products on top, or consider using it on its own. I think it works best when applied at night before bed, rather than during the day before going out. It's perfect for a quick skin texture refinement - just pat it onto problem areas, let it absorb, and then follow with your regular skincare routine! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2024
• The gel-like texture feels more like it's covering the skin rather than sinking in! • It didn't cause any irritation to my skin. • The container opening made it easy to apply. • While it didn't irritate my skin, I'm not sure if it had any noticeable effects. • It tends to pill, so it's probably best to apply only before bed at night! • No specific tips to share, just make sure to apply it in the evening! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2024
When I was younger, I had a lot of blemishes, but as I grew older, they became less frequent - maybe once every few months? They usually appear when I'm tired or when I change my water, or when my skin gets irritated. But since they're so rare now, I can't help but touch them, which always makes them last longer! For some reason, spot patches seem to make my blemishes more inflamed and painful when I wear them. That's why I always keep a spot treatment on hand to quickly calm my blemishes. Oddly enough, even though there wasn't any particular reason for breakouts, three blemishes appeared the day before the product arrived, which was perfect for testing! + The product is 15ml, which seems like a larger quantity compared to other spot treatments! + The packaging isn't sticky like an ointment tube (though those are designed to prevent backflow) + When applied generously, it dries like a mask and forms a protective layer! You can feel a slightly plump barrier when you touch it - While the edges may peel off if irritated, I usually only wear sunscreen without makeup, so it feels like it's protecting the blemish from external factors + A particularly irritated blemish stopped hurting after just two days when I applied this generously before bed after cleansing I'm not sure if this was the intended use, but if it didn't pill as much when it dries, it would be perfect to use even before makeup - it's that satisfying of a product After cleansing and extracting a blemish, apply a thin layer of Fucidin, let it dry a bit, then generously apply this product before going to bed! Overnight, angry blemishes calm down dramatically!
