Works well when applied before richer products. Doesn't cause any blemishes either.
ConsAlthough it's a cream, it's quite light, so it might be better suited for summer use.

It provides ample hydration too.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly bad, but the amount seems a bit insufficient. Still satisfied overall.

While I don't often get blemishes, my skin tends to redden quickly if I use the wrong products. Keep that in mind. 1. Texture This is the most crucial factor for me when choosing a cream. I've found that overly heavy products can sometimes irritate my skin. That's why I usually stick to a routine of toner, water emulsion, and moisturizer, only adding a cream during dry seasonal changes. This product has a light cream texture that's neither too thick nor too light - exactly what I was looking for. I actually slept with a generous layer on, and woke up without any blemishes. 2. Soothing effect My skin lacks moisture more than oil, so I prefer products that can replenish hydration. However, I've noticed that focusing solely on hydration can sometimes leave my skin lacking in nourishment, leading to dryness. This product seems excellent at both combating dryness and soothing the skin. When I apply it to reddened skin before bed, I wake up with noticeably reduced inflammation.
ConsI didn't find any particular downsides, but there are some usage tips I'd like to share, which I'll explain below.
Tip1. This cream works great for night care - you can apply a generous amount without any issues. However, when using it before makeup, be mindful of the amount. Since it's a cream, using too much can cause your base makeup to slide off. Applying small amounts in multiple layers will give you well-hydrated skin that holds makeup well. 2. If you have dehydrated skin, make sure to use a toner before applying this cream. For balanced skincare, try applying the cream with the feeling of layering it over skin that's well-saturated with toner.

My skin doesn't usually agree with thick formulas, but this cream isn't heavy at all. It worked well for my blemish-prone skin. Even a recent pimple subsided quickly. When my skin feels dry or itchy, applying this cream quickly adds a glow and softness, effectively addressing skin dryness, and the hydration lasts quite a while. The oil and moisture balance is just right. I'll likely repurchase this when I run out. Plus, it's a 1+1 deal, so the value is excellent - you can use it generously without worry. I also appreciated the included spatula.
ConsI haven't found any drawbacks while using this product, so I think I'll continue to use it happily.

It might be a bit heavy for oily skin in summer, but I think it could work well in fall and winter. *Ingredients -I'm happy it contains ceramides, as my skin usually responds well to them.
Cons*Blemishes -My skin is super sensitive and prone to blemishes if a product is even slightly too oily or doesn't suit me. While this didn't cause a major breakout, I did get a couple of blemishes. I was testing this cream along with new pads, so I'm not sure if it was the cream or the pads that caused the issue, but there were some blemishes. *Application -It's a bit heavy for oily skin in hot weather. I think it would work better in winter as a simple skincare routine with just a toner and this cream.

It's so lightweight that you can use it morning and night without feeling burdened. It also applies smoothly without any stickiness, which I really appreciated. Advantage 2: Hygienic use I loved that it comes with a spatula for hygienic application. The spatula is sized to fit inside the container, making storage convenient. Advantage 3: Jar or tube packaging The product I received came in a jar, along with a travel-friendly tube version. The small tube is perfect for trips! I noticed this product is available in both jar and tube formats, so you can choose whichever packaging suits you best.
ConsDrawback 1: Scent The fragrance might be divisive. It has a sort of herbal scent that feels artificial to me. Personally, I wasn't a fan! Drawback 2: Short spatula While it's great that the spatula can be stored inside the container, I found it a bit too short for comfortable use. I wish it were slightly longer.
TipPro tip: Apply lightly all over before makeup! I found that applying a thin, light layer before makeup keeps your look fresh all day without any separation. The lightweight formula definitely helps your makeup adhere well without pilling or sliding off.

The lightweight texture makes it easy to apply and absorbs well. Not only does it sink in quickly, but it also keeps my dry skin moisturized for a long time, which I find very satisfying. Having sensitive skin prone to redness, I usually prefer barrier creams. However, my skin wasn't in great condition due to heat-induced irritation in summer. Applying a generous layer of Real Barrier cream before bed helps my skin recover overnight. It's clear why this product is so popular! While I haven't tried it in winter yet, if it can maintain this level of hydration with such a light application, I'd love to keep using it consistently.
ConsSince this cream works perfectly for my dry skin, I honestly can't think of any downsides.
TipI use it in the morning before makeup because it absorbs quickly and isn't heavy. When I use rich creams before applying makeup, it tends to pill or clump. So, I plan to use this not just in summer, but in winter too, especially before putting on makeup.

It's far from being thick or heavy. It applies very thinly and smoothly on the face, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave a sticky residue or feel like it's forming a film on your skin. It's a moisturizer with a light texture and a fresh finish. That doesn't mean it lacks hydration though. For combination skin, I think it could be used from spring to fall, except for the coldest winter months. While using this product, I never experienced any deep dryness or dehydration, but its lightweight feel makes me think it might not be quite enough for harsh winter weather. I've been really interested in skin barrier health lately, so I'm excited to use a moisturizer with ingredients that are good for strengthening the skin barrier. I can't say I've noticed improvements in my skin barrier yet, but I plan to keep using it consistently. I also love the generous amount. No need to be stingy with application!
ConsIt's gentle and non-irritating on the skin, with a light feel and decent hydration.
TipI have a feeling it might not provide quite enough moisture during the coldest winter months...

Even though it's a cream, the word "light" in the name made me think it might be suitable for summer use. I had high hopes that it would be a bit lighter for a high-moisture product, and it didn't disappoint. As the name suggests, it provides good hydration without feeling heavy. The texture is creamy. At first glance, it looks very rich and potentially heavy, but when you actually apply it, it's not too heavy and spreads easily, which I found very satisfying. The absorption seems good too. I use mineral sunscreen after this cream, and there's no pilling, which suggests it absorbs well. I especially like that I can use it on both my face and neck without it feeling sticky or making my hair cling to my skin. I used this in September, which was still quite warm this year. Despite being a cream, it worked well in the warmer weather. My previous cream felt too light and not moisturizing enough, especially with air conditioning. Unless you're in your teens or twenties with high sebum production, it's easy to experience deep dryness even in summer. This product maintained hydration even in air-conditioned environments, which I was very pleased with. As it's non-comedogenic, it doesn't seem to clog pores despite being a cream, making it suitable for combination dehydrated skin. I didn't experience any blemishes or discomfort while using it. It contains many ingredients like panthenol that can help with skin soothing and regeneration. While I didn't notice significant effects from these ingredients in the short term, it feels comfortable when applied, making it worth using consistently. It might be good to keep on hand if you're interested in strengthening your skin barrier or for times when your skin feels compromised. As the weather cools down and we enter the changing seasons, skin tends to become extremely dry. I think this product might help mitigate that to some extent.
ConsI didn't find many downsides while using it. If there's a con, it might be that you can't feel the barrier-strengthening effects in a short time, but that's probably unrealistic to expect from anything other than a medical ointment. The product has a slight scent, which could be a drawback for some. It didn't bother me, but when my husband tried it once, he found the fragrance off-putting. It seems to be a matter of personal preference. Everyone's skin has its own unique scent, so the product might smell different when mixed with individual skin odor. It was fine for me, but when my husband applied only this product, it smelled strongly like men's cosmetics, which surprised me! Fragrance is very subjective, so it might be best to test it at an Olive Young store. There's a spatula inside the lid, which helps maintain hygiene despite it being in a jar. However, when you open the lid, the part where the spatula sits is integrated with the lid, making it a bit inconvenient to remove. Personally, I preferred the gratis tube type.
TipAs it's a versatile cream, there aren't any special usage tips. I tend to apply it a bit thicker on my cheeks, which are prone to irritation. It seems to have a soothing effect, at least psychologically. You can adjust the amount according to the season, making it suitable for use all year round.

It's more like regular yogurt rather than thick Greek yogurt. It glides on smoothly and absorbs easily! Scent: If you're familiar with Real Barrier products, you'll recognize the subtle cica scent. It has a faint, cool pine needle-like fragrance. The scent isn't overpowering, so it won't bother you. Feel: As it's focused on hydration, it feels very moisturizing. It's gentle and hydrating, making it a versatile moisturizer that's comfortable to use during the transition from summer to fall.
ConsThere weren't any notable drawbacks. However, if you're used to the rich texture of Extreme, you might find this slightly less hydrating.
TipI recommend this cream for the transition period from hot summer to dry fall! I'd suggest opting for the tube version rather than the jar type.
