  As someone with sensitive and dry skin, I found this product incredibly gentle and comfortable to use! Despite being a cream, it applies lightly and smoothly, providing deep hydration while leaving the skin's surface feeling fresh. What's more, when my skin was feeling particularly sensitive, applying this cream seemed to soothe any redness or tingling sensations. I'm really satisfied with this product!

  During winter or times of extreme dryness, I felt this product alone wasn't quite enough for my skin's moisture needs. In drier seasons, I found it more effective to use this in combination with additional hydrating products.

  Tip

  For winter or seasonal transitions, try layering a moisturizing oil or a richer cream over this one to maintain long-lasting hydration without any dryness. When your skin suddenly becomes super sensitive, applying thin layers of this cream multiple times can help calm it down!

  Pros

  For sensitive combination dehydrated skin with lots of small bumps: Among the barrier creams I've tried, this is the lightest and most reliable product I'm using without any blemishes. It might feel a bit light as a final night cream, but it somewhat addresses deep dryness and inner dehydration. I like that it's not overly rich, so it doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores. Strangely, when I wake up, my skin looks so oily it's surprising, but for some reason... after gently removing it with cleansing water, my skin condition looks remarkably good. It's a mysteriously impressive product that delivers results every time I use it.

  Cons

  Please, please get rid of the jar packaging. It's extremely inconvenient both hygienically and during use. However, I put up with it because it's such a great product to apply when you're unsure about your skin condition and don't know what to use.

  Tip

  For layering, this cream feels like it's putting multiple layers on your skin, so I recommend applying two layers total: mix equal parts of serum and cream for one layer, then finish with another layer of the cream alone.

  Pros

  I've been using the original version and really liked it. With the weather getting warmer, I decided to try the light version. It's wonderfully lightweight while still providing great hydration.

  Cons

  While I loved how the original version left my skin feeling powdery soft, this one contains more moisture, which makes the finish slightly sticky. As someone who needs extra hydration, I always layer toner and serum, but adding this cream on top made everything feel a bit too sticky for my liking.

  Pros

  As someone with dry skin, I found the Light Cream to be a perfect balance. It's lighter than the Extreme Cream, which is intensely moisturizing, and has a smoother application. I was a bit disappointed with how light the Soothing Cream felt in summer, but the Light Cream really hit the spot. The price is reasonable, especially during sales - I often stock up on 2-3 at a time! What's great is that I can apply it worry-free even when my skin is super sensitive and acting up.

  I've been using this product for about 2 years now. I originally used the Extreme Cream, but when my skin became more combination dehydrated, I repurchased the Extreme Cream Light version. The product performance is great - it absorbs well, has a nice texture, and doesn't have a strong scent. When you first apply it, there's a glow, but after 1-2 minutes, it feels like you're wearing nothing at all - no brightening or shine, just locked-in hydration. It's my go-to daily moisturizer. I use it when I have dead skin cells, after cleansing, or for nights when I want something lighter than a heavy cream. What I love most is that it's a gentle cream without harsh ingredients, so I even use it when I'm incorporating AHA/BHA or retinol products in my routine.

  Cons

  While it's great for skin hydration, it doesn't really improve the skin barrier or help with blemish care.

  Tip

  I've had mine for a while, so I'm not sure if it's still sold in a jar or if it's now in a tube. But here's my personal tip for products in jars, as shown in the photo: store it on its side! This way, you can easily scoop out the product with your finger without getting it under your nails.

  Absolutely amazing! It provides deep hydration for my combination dehydrated skin that's full of blemishes. The skin feels soft and fresh all day long! Absolutely no oiliness! After just two days of use, I can confidently say this is my holy grail! I came to Hwahae specifically to recommend this product!

  Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin Finding the right cream for combination dehydrated skin is incredibly challenging. Since my base skin type is oily, heavy creams make my face greasy, but light ones leave it dry. Finding a winter moisturizer was such a struggle! However, after discovering this one, I've settled on it as my go-to winter cream. First off, it absorbs beautifully and sinks right into the skin. It's not overly sticky or greasy, yet it has a satisfying, rich texture. When I apply makeup after using this, it seems to adhere better somehow. Overall, I'm using this with great satisfaction.
