Pros

The Hwahae Testers said that while the Extreme formula was perfect for winter with its thick, creamy texture that suited the extremely dry skin, the Light formula is also completely moisturizing for spring and summer! The Light formula is not just a watery, gel-like texture, but a regular cream that is even more hydrating. If a product has pore-clogging ingredients, my face feels like it's on fire, But if I use one without them, my skin gets so dry... My skin is truly a challenge to deal with. This one doesn't have any pore-clogging ingredients. I've used it before, but I can't remember how it was (I probably stopped using it because it wasn't great). I bought it again because I'm running out of options.

It's way too drying. After applying, it dries out quickly. I woke up several times during the night because my skin felt so dry, and had to apply another cream. This one is tricky to layer because it pills. Like other reviewers mentioned, it makes pores more noticeable. Even the Extreme Original was drying on me. I guess my skin is the problem here. I envy those who say they don't experience deep dryness and love this product. Looking at my growing pile of unused cosmetics just makes me sigh... oh well. After using it for about a week, my face became red and started tingling. I think it might be due to an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. I was going to repurchase but ended up canceling my order.

Tip

How should I apply this to make it less drying? If it doesn't work out, I'll have to try a different product... For a sensitive skin barrier cream, I wish they could remove the allergenic ingredients...

For sensitive combination dehydrated skin with lots of small bumps: Among the barrier creams I've tried, this is the lightest and most reliable product I'm using without any blemishes. It might feel a bit light as a final night cream, but it somewhat addresses deep dryness and inner dehydration. I like that it's not overly rich, so it doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores.
