  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! I recently tried a popular cream, but it didn't seem to match my skin's oil and moisture balance, causing red blemishes to appear. So I wanted to switch to a gentler cleanser, and I'm glad I had the chance to try this one! ❤️ I typically use strong eyeliners, but this cleanser was great as it didn't cause any stinging or irritation when removing makeup around the eyes. ❤️ While other products often struggle to remove makeup in one go, this one is gentle yet effective, resulting in less skin irritation.

  While the product itself was quite satisfactory, the packaging left something to be desired. It was a bit challenging to dispense the right amount... However, I noticed on the Olive Young app that they're introducing a pump version, so it seems this issue is being addressed!

  After using Manyo Factory's 'Pure Cleansing Water Sensitive 500ml' for about two weeks to remove sunscreen and makeup, I found that its gentle ingredients and slightly acidic formula allowed for irritation-free use even on sensitive skin! Despite using it almost daily, I didn't experience any blemishes. Although it's a water-type cleanser, it effectively removed waterproof makeup and sunscreen without causing any skin issues, which really built my trust in the product. Moreover, my skin didn't feel tight after cleansing and maintained its hydration, making it suitable for dry skin types too! I think what I'm most satisfied with is how my skin feels moisturized rather than overly dry after use.

  It worked really well for my combination dehydrated skin. I think the level of skin tightness after use might vary depending on individual skin conditions.

  Tip

  When using this product, you can further reduce irritation by dispensing the cleansing water into a foam dispenser (available even at Daiso!) and using it as a foam. However, this method seemed to decrease its cleansing effectiveness. Alternatively, saturating a cotton pad and gently wiping proved effective in removing sunscreen and makeup. For heavy makeup, it might be more thorough to first remove it with a dedicated makeup remover, then finish with this product for a complete cleanse.

  The effectiveness of Witch Factory's Cleansing Water is truly impressive. First off, it removes makeup incredibly well. Not only does it cleanse the skin thoroughly, but it also effectively removes eye makeup. It even takes off mascara so well that I didn't need to use a separate lip and eye remover. Despite its powerful cleansing effectiveness, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. I have dry skin and I'm particularly sensitive to eye irritation. However, after using Witch Factory's Cleansing Water on my made-up face, I've never experienced any skin tightness or eye discomfort. It's truly amazing how it can have such strong cleansing power without causing any dryness. (I don't intend to criticize other brands, but...) I used to use a product from a brand famous for its cleansing waters. That product was known for its ability to cleanse so well that you didn't need to wash your face afterward. However, this cleansing water from Witch Factory removes makeup even more effectively. The second great point is how gentle it is. There's no particular scent, and when I applied it to my skin, I immediately thought, 'This feels so mild.' I believe this sensation comes from the lack of irritation. I'm really satisfied with this product.

  Manyo Factory seems to be a go-to for cleansers. I love the ingredients, so I've been consistently using products from the same line, including their oil cleanser, which I bought with my own money. I also remember emptying several bottles of their green cleansing foam (can't recall the exact name) because it was so good. This cleansing water is no exception - it has gentle ingredients but still cleanses effectively, so there's nothing to complain about. It feels familiar since it's like a water version of the oil cleanser I'm currently using. When removing makeup, I usually soak about three cotton pads thoroughly. For skin that needs exfoliation like mine, using cotton pads with cleansing water provides just the right amount of friction to help remove dead skin cells. I adjust based on my skin's condition each day. However, for those with sensitive skin, it's much better to use oil or milk cleansers instead of water-based ones. No matter how gentle a water cleanser claims to be, you still need to use cotton pads, which can cause irritation due to friction. Consider what works best for your skin type. It's fragrance-free, feels refreshing, and removes makeup well. For daily makeup, I use about 3 cotton pads. For heavier makeup days, I use a separate makeup remover. Even if I get distracted after removing my makeup, my skin doesn't feel tight, and the finish is nicely moisturizing, which I really like. In conclusion, Manyo Factory is truly a cleansing haven!
