The value for money and product volume are also excellent.
ConsIt would have been better if the opening had a puff applicator. The product tends to spill a bit during use.
TipYou can occasionally find it on sale at Coupang for a lower price.

It's gentle I accidentally oversaturated the cotton pad, but even when it got in my eyes, there was no stinging! 2. It removes makeup effectively It took off mascara, mascara fixer, tint, and lipstick completely. There was virtually no residue left! For my skin, I usually wear sunscreen, cushion foundation, and concealer. After cleansing, there was minimal irritation and no sunscreen residue! *However, on days when my skin was super sensitive, I did feel some irritation. But I think this depends more on how hard you rub the cotton pad and your skin's condition, rather than the product itself. During the two weeks I used it, I found it gentle every time except once! - The scent wasn't strong or unpleasant, and it didn't bother me at all! - As someone with dry skin, it didn't leave my face feeling particularly hydrated after cleansing, but unlike many products that leave my skin feeling tight, this one didn't.
ConsThe formula is very liquid, so you need to be careful with the amount you use (don't press too hard!). But this isn't a major issue, just something to be mindful of.
TipThe brand recommends using a foam maker on days when your skin is particularly sensitive. (I think using it with toner in a foam maker would work well too!) Instead of immediately wiping your eyes with the soaked cotton pad, hold it on your eyes and lips for 3-5 seconds before wiping. This makes makeup removal much more effective.

I use it with a foam maker, but since it has such a watery texture - maybe due to a lower concentration of surfactants - the foam dissipates almost as soon as it forms. You need to pump quite a few times to get enough for use. It has a pleasant feel on the skin, but naturally, it has its limits when it comes to removing mascara or concealer. I only use it on days when I'm wearing light makeup.
ConsWhile it's expected for a cleansing water to have a runny consistency, this product feels just like plain water. Personally, I found it a bit too bland, which was disappointing.
TipMixing it with jojoba oil creates a nice balance between a cleansing water and an oil cleanser, improving the overall experience. This is just my personal preference.

One day I was too tired and only used this water to remove my makeup before bed, and I didn't get any blemishes. That alone made me satisfied. I usually only wear cushion foundation, eyebrow makeup, and lip color, so I'm not sure about eye makeup like eyeliner or mascara. When I wear that much makeup, I use 4 cotton pads, holding 2 in each hand, and wipe twice. By the second time, there's hardly anything coming off, so 2 pads might be enough. Honestly, you can really tell they put effort into the packaging. It's interesting that it comes in a box without tape, and you have to tear the paper to get the product out. It made me think they're environmentally conscious. Recommended!
ConsThe opening where the product comes out is a bit too large, so it tends to pour out quickly, dripping from the cotton pad. But this might just be because I have a habit of squeezing the bottle when using cleansing water.
TipHave you tried putting it in a foaming container? If you put the cleansing water in a foaming container, you won't need to use cotton pads. I did this on days when I only wore sunscreen.

I accidentally got some in my eye while removing mascara, but it didn't sting much and the cleansing effectiveness seems pretty good. The volume is generous too! I'll probably repurchase when I run out. Actually, I was a bit disappointed after trying this company's cleansing oil before, but this cleansing water seems much better!
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad. If I had to mention something obvious, it's that the formula is really watery, so when you pour it into your palm, it tends to run off, leaving you with less product.
TipLike other reviewers suggest, I recommend buying a foaming pump bottle from Daiso to use with this product! It makes for a much cleaner and more convenient application.

As a fan of cleansing waters, I've tried many popular ones like Bio** and La Roche**, but this Witch Factory cleansing water has above-average cleansing power - It felt so gentle that there was almost no irritation for my sensitive skin - While some reviews mentioned disliking the scent, I personally found it better than artificial fragrances. Even though I'm sensitive to smells, I didn't feel much aversion while using it
Cons- Not just with this product, but cleansing waters in general have a slightly disappointing user experience due to their liquid form - they can run down your arm or into your eyes. Be careful as it stings a lot if it gets in your eyes - The need for additional tools like cotton pads or foam containers? As I'm writing this, I realize these are drawbacks of cleansing waters in general, not specific to the Witch Factory cleansing water!!
TipUsually, I put it in a foam container for gentle use, but when I want to exfoliate and refine skin texture, I soak a cotton pad with plenty of cleansing water and wipe in the direction of my skin grain!

I've tried many popular cleansers from Ol**ve Young, but I always find myself coming back to Witch's Potion. Highlights: - Removes makeup gently without irritating skin → It leaves no residue! Seeing the makeup come off on the cotton pad is so satisfying. My skin has never had a negative reaction to this product. - No dryness afterwards → I have a bad habit of procrastinating on my skincare routine, often lying in bed right after removing my makeup without cleansing. Despite being a 'water' type cleanser that could potentially cause dryness or tightness, the Witch's Potion keeps my skin hydrated during and after makeup removal. Even after the cleanser evaporates, my skin still feels moisturized! This allows me to put off cleansing for a bit longer (which is a huge plus for me!).
ConsRecently, I've noticed some stinging around my eyes, which wasn't an issue before. I'm not sure if it's due to a formula change or because I tend to saturate the cotton pad generously. For those with sensitive eyes, please keep this in mind! Even if you don't have sensitive eyes, it might be best to avoid the eye area when cleansing. (Full disclosure: I do tend to use two soaked cotton pads and scrub quite vigorously... This is just my personal experience, so please take it with a grain of salt!)
TipUsing thin, lint-free cotton pads like Sil*to or 1/2 cotton pads soaked in the cleanser allows for gentle and effective makeup removal with minimal skin damage. If you're concerned about sebum, try using the cleansing oil from the same line with a pore brush. Gently roll it on your skin to emulsify, then cleanse as usual - your skin will feel incredibly soft!

For eye makeup, I held a cotton pad for about 3-5 seconds and wiped 2-3 times, which removed it effectively. Usually, you need to wipe at least twice for thorough cleansing. It cleanses face makeup completely and even removes lip tints well.
ConsIt does sting a bit if it gets into your eyes. The packaging design is such that you just flip it over to dispense the product, which can lead to some spillage when trying to saturate the entire cotton pad. There's a bit of waste because of this. Other than that, I couldn't really find any significant drawbacks.

So, I decided to try this cleansing water instead of oil. *Texture True to its name, it has a water-like, fragrance-free texture. *How to use Concerned that even wiping with a cotton pad might irritate my skin, I'm using it in a foaming bottle. Although I don't wear makeup except for lipstick, I still need to double cleanse because of my mineral sunscreen. This method is definitely more convenient. It's less irritating and doesn't require emulsification, so I'm switching from oil to water cleansing. *Volume With its generous 500ml size, I'm using it liberally. I use about 4-5 pumps with my foaming bottle (see photo for reference).
ConsBe careful of dripping if using without cotton pads or a foaming bottle. Since it's not designed as a foaming product, the foam dissipates quickly and may cause slight eye irritation.

Skin reacts to weather, temperature, humidity, masks, and hormones, causing unpredictable blemishes. Volume: The 500ml size is great for cleansing water, as it's more generous than the usual 200-300ml. It's perfect for soaking cotton pads or creating foam. Scent: Not completely unscented like water, but reminiscent of Calendula Cleansing Oil from a certain brand. It's milder though, with a subtle fragrance. I appreciate the absence of artificial fragrances or essential oils. Usage experience: I've used cleansing oils, foam cleansers, and gel cleansers before, but tried cleansing water for the first time to avoid over-cleansing. I used it with cotton pads during the trial period. There can be some friction on the skin, but I think that's more due to the cotton pad and my technique. Cleansing effectiveness: It seems to remove light makeup well, including lip products, cushion foundation, and mineral sunscreen. (For long-lasting tints or eye makeup, you'd probably want to use a dedicated point remover.) After-feel: There's a slight richness lingering on the skin, similar to the feeling after applying a high-viscosity ampoule or essence. It's not exactly fresh or matte - dry skin types might find it moisturizing, while oily skin types might feel like there's a slight residue.
ConsIt can sting a bit if it accidentally gets in your eyes, so be careful to avoid the eye area when cleansing. For oily skin types, the finish might not feel fresh enough, leaving a somewhat slick feeling. + I tried using it with a foam maker: (Not sure if it varies by foam maker) While it creates foam well, the bubbles disappear within 1-2 seconds when applied to the face and run off, causing you to use more product to keep making foam. (This is expected since it's a water formula, not a bubble foam.) There's also some irritation. When using cotton pads, I thought the irritation was from accidental eye contact or friction from the pad. But even when applying the foam directly to my face, I felt a slight burning sensation around my eyes, philtrum, lips, and cheeks. ⭐ Revising my rating from 4 to about 3.5 stars.
