Even with just one use, it effectively removed my makeup. It works hard to cleanse thoroughly.
ConsAlthough I don't have super sensitive skin, my face felt a burning sensation and tingling after use. I wouldn't recommend this for those with sensitive skin.
TipFor those with combination dehydrated skin or prone to blemishes, it's important to find a cleanser that balances effectiveness with gentleness. Always patch test new products to avoid potential allergic reactions.

It's like the oil suddenly disappears? But that's about it...
Cons1. Causes blemishes As you can see in the photo, I suddenly developed red blemishes in just two days. I really don't know what happened... It wasn't even that time of the month, so I think this product just doesn't suit me well. 2. Eye irritation I've never had stinging eyes before, but strangely my eyes feel irritated. It's not like it got into my eyes, and I kept them tightly closed, but they still sting. 3. Underwhelming product performance The cleansing effectiveness isn't as good as I expected. It only feels like it's cleansing after I've done a first cleanse with cleansing oil. I have to wipe 3-4 times to remove my makeup, and by then my skin feels too dry, even though I have combination dehydrated skin.

Just okay, I guess! The large volume was really great. And the container is seriously so convenient and nice. Being able to control the amount dispensed was really, really good! ✔️ Cleansing effectiveness: Doesn't remove makeup as well as expected (might be more noticeable since I switched from a lip and eye remover to this cleansing water) ✔️ Texture: It's really just like water! If you prefer something easy to use, just go ahead and get this ✔️ Recommended for: Those who don't wear heavy makeup or have oily skin prone to blemishes when using oil cleansers. It's definitely gentle since it's a cleansing water, so I used it without any worries about irritation! There's no deep dryness after cleansing, so I recommend it for those with dry skin too!
Cons😭 Cleansing effectiveness: (For those who use mascara) If you wear heavy makeup or are used to lip and eye removers, you might be disappointed with this. It doesn't remove makeup as well as you might expect, which could be surprising! Also, when removing mascara, it seems to make eyelashes fall out a lot. Is it just me? 😭 Eye irritation: This stings the eyes quite a bit, unexpectedly. It's okay if you keep your eyes closed for a few seconds, but if you don't like any burning sensation in your eyes, you might want to skip this. 😭 Scent: Being a water-based product, I thought the scent would be milder, but it was stronger than expected! I'm not very sensitive, so it was fine for me, but those with super sensitive skin might want to think twice.
TipMake sure to use a separate mascara remover! For the health of your eyelashes!

Using it with a foam maker worked great for me.
ConsI'm not sure if it was because of the sunscreen, but my eyes stung a lot while using this. Also, I have eczema on my hands, and it really irritated the affected areas. It was too harsh for me, so I probably won't purchase it again.
TipFor light cleansing (when you've only applied sunscreen), using it with a foam maker allows for effective cleansing without needing cotton pads.

The 500ml size is perfect for daily use without worrying about running out quickly. It's truly the best value cleansing water out there! Unlike cleansing oils that can leave a residue even after rinsing 20 times, this cleansing water leaves less of a lingering feeling on the skin. It's more satisfying for daily use, and my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after cleansing. I always appreciate Manyo Factory's packaging. Instead of separate paper instructions, all the product information is printed inside the box, which feels more eco-friendly. As someone with super sensitive skin, I was slightly concerned about potential blemishes or reactions, but I had absolutely no issues! This Pure Cleansing Water Sensitive version seems especially well-suited for sensitive skin types.
ConsWhile any product stings if it gets in your eyes, this one seemed particularly painful. The burning sensation made my eyes water for quite a while.
TipFor best results, saturate a cotton pad, hold it on your skin for about 10 seconds, then gently wipe away. It removes base makeup very effectively! On days when your skin feels extra sensitive, skip the cotton pad. Instead, work it into a lather with a foam maker and massage it in with your hands for the gentlest cleanse!

First off, it effectively removes makeup and impurities without leaving any residue on the skin. As you can see in the last photo, I tested it on red lip product, and it removed it completely in one go, without leaving any traces. After cleansing, even with just water rinsing, my skin feels moisturized without any tightness, while the makeup is thoroughly removed - I'm incredibly satisfied! It doesn't cause any blemishes or itching after use, so it seems to be made with gentle ingredients that even super sensitive skin can use with confidence. The 400ml size is generous, and the price is reasonable, so I'm definitely planning to keep purchasing this with my own money.
ConsI saturated a cotton pad with too much product and it got into my eyes, which caused a burning sensation for me.
TipOn days when I'm only wearing brightening moisturizer, this product alone seems sufficient for thorough cleansing, eliminating the need for a second cleanse!

I even recommended it to my mom, and we're using it together now. It's amazing at removing eye makeup too. I'm absolutely blown away! Honestly, I'm sticking with this product for life. You all should make it your go-to as well!
ConsI can't quite get used to the scent every time I use it. It's a 'healthy' smell? The odd scent surprises me a bit. While it removes makeup well, my face feels like it's burning up afterwards, as if I'm having a reaction. Despite that, I'm still using it regularly.
TipWhen you gently wipe with a cotton pad, it doesn't irritate the skin and works great.

There's a subtle artificial scent, but it's barely noticeable. Usually, when cleansing water gets in my eyes, I wake up with a stye the next day. However, even after this product got in my eyes two days in a row, I had no blemishes! I'm really impressed with this product!
ConsWhen removing makeup late at night when my skin is a bit dry, wiping with this water feels slightly tingly... It might be due to the sudden hydration, but I haven't experienced this reaction with other products. I wonder why...
TipMake sure to saturate the cotton pad generously! Use plenty for the sake of your skin!

This is the third cleansing water I've tried. Ranking them by performance: 1. COSRX 2-3. Anua and The Witch Factory (tie) Performance: Despite my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes or discomfort. It removes about 80-90% of makeup, though not perfectly. Results varied with waterproof eyeliners - some came off completely, others less so. To avoid irritation, I'd recommend a separate eye makeup remover. Scent: Hard to describe, but not particularly pleasant. Not overwhelmingly bothersome, but noticeable. Packaging: The Witch Factory clearly prioritizes sustainability. Even the shipping box shows how to properly recycle the packaging. The 500ml size is great for liberal use. Price: When on sale, it's just over $20, offering great value for the volume.
ConsThis may vary person to person, but it stung my eyes. For eye makeup, either use a cotton swab or if using a cotton pad, don't oversaturate it - just lightly dampen it.
TipTip: Since cotton pads can be harsh, those with thin, sensitive skin should saturate them well and use a gentle touch. For complete removal of tints or waterproof eyeliners, I recommend using a dedicated remover.

The volume is generous too. It seems to cleanse not just makeup but also things like fine dust well. After removing makeup, there was less tightness in my skin. While it might not completely remove point makeup, it has pretty strong cleansing effectiveness.
ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, the act of removing makeup with cotton pads itself seemed to cause irritation for me. My face felt slightly tingly. Even with thick, high-quality cotton pads, it was still the same.
TipIt's less irritating if you put it in a foam maker and gently massage it on your face. Just be aware that it might run down your wrist a bit!
