Application: Unlike some brightening moisturizers that can feel thick and heavy, this one glides on smoothly! It's perfect for applying a small amount with ease. Feel on skin: There's no stickiness, and it feels moisturizing, making it ideal as a light final step in your skincare routine! Brightening effect: Absolutely no white cast! With a small amount, you get a natural brightening effect, and if you use a bit more, you'll see a more noticeable difference in your complexion. It's great as a makeup base too! I used to use a pricier base, but I'm switching to this one. Ingredients: While I don't have major blemishes or super sensitive skin, it's made with gentle, non-irritating ingredients. It's even suitable for pregnant women, which is a huge plus! The quality of ingredients is impressive for the price. Overall: It's perfect for daily use as a light final skincare step, replacing sunscreen with a brightening effect. On full-makeup days, it works great as a base too, making it incredibly versatile!
ConsMake sure to shake it well before use! When I first received it, there was a paper inside saying to shake it, but it was flipped over so I didn't see it. I squeezed it without shaking and it went everywhere! You really need to shake it thoroughly before use.
TipApplying small amounts and patting it in helps achieve a natural brightening effect. Also, I find that using your hands to apply it, rather than tools, results in a more natural-looking glow.

You really need to apply just a tiny amount! At first, I didn't know and used my usual amount, which made it feel like it was sitting on top of my skin. But when I followed the instructions and used a pea-sized amount, it applied naturally and smoothly. It doesn't make you look too bright, and it applies evenly. Even if you layer it, it feels light. Since it's a brightening moisturizer, it doesn't provide coverage. It gives a feeling of refining your skin texture! I haven't tried heavy makeup yet, so I'll need to use it more to comment on its coverage, but the way it absorbs is really great. As it's a product that also provides skincare benefits, it applies smoothly like an emulsion or a light cream. It doesn't irritate the skin, and there's hardly any breakdown even after some time. After application, it seems to make the skin feel powdery, so it might be good for those with combination dehydrated skin or oily skin!
ConsWhen I first tried to use it, the pump didn't work well, and I thought it was defective. You really have to keep pressing for the product to come out, and the pumping is a bit disappointing every time you use it. The scent does fade, but it has an alcohol-like smell that might be hit or miss for some people.

I've always had bad luck with brightening moisturizers, so I didn't expect much. But when I opened it and applied it to the back of my hand, I was amazed. The tone-evening effect was perfect, and most importantly, it was incredibly hydrating with zero pilling (especially in wrinkle-prone areas - incomparable to other brightening moisturizers). It applies smoothly, and you only need a tiny amount for sufficient coverage. I experienced no blemishes; instead, it seemed to refine my skin texture. After cleansing, my complexion looked so bright that I actually washed twice, thinking I was imagining it! It seems packed with great ingredients that really work hard for your skin.
ConsOf course, it would be nice if it had some sun protection, but if that would change the formula, it's perfect as is. By the way, how do I attach a video? I filmed one enthusiastically because I like the product so much...
TipIf you use chemical sunscreens, you absolutely must buy this. It allows for a foundation-free look and has great staying power - it lasts all day. You can even expect a subtle glow. It pairs well with gel-type moisturizers too. If you're using it with physical sunscreens that leave a white cast, be careful - you might end up looking too pale. Really, using just a small amount on areas you want to brighten should be enough.

Bright ivory shade As someone with light skin (shade 17), I often found that base products made my complexion look dull due to darkening. However, the Lumibon brightening moisturizer has a light ivory color that naturally evens my skin tone! 2. Blemish-free 3. Smooth application It applies more smoothly and feels more hydrating than my previous brightening sunscreen! While not super lightweight, it's like applying a thin BB cream that adheres well to the skin for a nice finish. 4. Peptide-rich formula As someone who cares deeply about cosmetic ingredients, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of peptides. I really appreciate the ingredient composition! Overall, this brightening moisturizer is a winner in terms of performance, aside from the packaging.
Cons1. Product splatters when pumping Despite instructions to shake 20-30 times before use, the product still splatters everywhere when pumping, staining clothes. This was quite inconvenient. 2. Scent It has an old-fashioned BB cream or powder scent that might be difficult for those sensitive to fragrances.

As someone with dry skin, I love how creamy it is without feeling heavy. It brightens naturally without looking unnatural. It's great on its own, but also works well as a base under foundation. Scent: The fragrance isn't particularly pleasant, but it's not bad either. It's just okay. Texture: It has a nice level of richness for dry skin. Those with oily skin might find it too hydrating. Overall: I'd definitely repurchase if they increased the amount and improved the packaging! The before and after results are impressive - you can see the brightening effect clearly.
ConsThe amount is quite small. The pump gets stiff quickly, which is disappointing.
TipThis would work well as a brightening moisturizer base.

This product caught my attention right away, boasting 14 types of peptides and other high-performance ingredients. I was excited to try it, and it didn't disappoint! It glides on smoothly, naturally brightening your complexion by a shade. Unlike some mineral sunscreens, it doesn't leave a white cast or make your skin feel parched. Its hydrating formula makes it suitable for those with dry skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, I was initially worried about potential blemishes or breakouts from the potent ingredients, but I experienced no adverse reactions. It absorbs lightly into the skin, giving a natural brightening effect. Perfect for those quick trips out when you don't want to bother with foundation - just layer it on twice for a bit more coverage. It gives you that effortless, 'I woke up like this' look. However, keep in mind it's just a brightening moisturizer, so it won't cover blemishes. But if you have relatively clear skin, it'll give you a polished, radiant appearance.
ConsThe main drawback is that unlike most brightening moisturizers, this one doesn't offer sun protection. It's a bit disappointing as most combine brightening effects with SPF. This means you'll need to layer sunscreen, brightening moisturizer, and foundation if you're doing a full face - which can be a bit of a hassle. I'll probably only use this for quick outings when I don't want to bother with foundation.
TipRemember to shake the product well before use. If you forget, you might end up with some product separation.

The application is quite unique - it feels like it might not spread well at first, but then it glides on smoothly. Best of all, it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, which I really appreciate. I've avoided tone-up creams in the past because they often emphasized flakiness, but this product seems to have skincare ingredients that keep it from being drying. It actually feels like it's improving my skin condition before makeup! While some might miss the lack of UV protection, I always apply sunscreen anyway, even with products that claim to have it. I like that this focuses solely on evening skin tone, which I think contributes to its effectiveness.
ConsThe scent... the scent isn't great. Fortunately, it doesn't linger for long. I just have to endure a brief 'ugh' moment when applying it around my nose. The packaging gives off a slightly dated vibe, but then again, it also seems somewhat luxurious...?
TipHighly recommend as a makeup base! I had no idea it would improve the longevity of my makeup. My skin looks prettier than usual, with any unevenness smoothed out for a flawless complexion. My makeup routine goes: Numbers In 3 skin pad, Espoir sunscreen, One-tap tone-up cream, Clio cushion, and then a fixer. It stays perfect all day long! Just be careful not to apply too much, or your skin might look cakey. Use about a pea-sized amount each time for best results.
