I've been switching between makeup bases, cushions, and BB creams daily, but honestly, it was hard to find one that I really liked. However, after trying Lumibon, I feel like I've finally found the perfect product for me. Just two pumps of a small amount is enough to noticeably even my skin tone, and it lasts all day. I apply my skincare, use Lumibon for brightening, and finish with powder.
ConsWhile it didn't cause any blemishes, the product does have a distinct scent. I'm not a fan of fragranced products, but fortunately, it's only noticeable during application and dissipates quickly. Also, if you apply too much, it tends to pill a bit. This can make touch-ups a little tricky.
TipA little goes a long way in brightening your complexion, so don't overdo it! And don't forget to give it a good shake before your first use!

First, my skin type is dry and oily. My skin is not very sensitive, but if I use a product that doesn't suit my skin, it tends to get completely out of control. And I have redness and large pores! I'll start by talking about the pros based on my skin type. First, my face didn't get out of control at all during the one-week usage. I expected some breakouts since it's a color cosmetic product and my skin needs an adjustment period, but no breakouts came up! By the way, when I used a whitening sunscreen, I usually got breakouts. This was the best part for me! Secondly, it has a definite brightening effect! Among brightening creams, some give an ambiguous brightening result, but this product has a clear brightening effect! However, adjusting the amount is essential. I think the product works best when applied thinly. So it can last much longer than the volume. Also, it feels moisturizing without feeling heavy, and as I mentioned earlier, it looks nicer when applied thinly, so I like that the makeup feels light. It's a useful product to use when I need to go out for a short time or in situations where it's awkward to do full makeup.
ConsThe biggest issue, I think, is the longevity. These days, the weather is getting hotter and I have some oiliness, so after a few hours, it wears off and gets patchy. I think this product would be better suited for dry skin types rather than oily skin. And since it's a brightening cream, the coverage is not great. If you're looking for coverage as well, this product may not be suitable.
TipAdjusting the amount is the most difficult at first! It's best to try just a bean-sized amount and build it up to your preference. Oily skin types can make it last longer by setting it with powder.

Blends naturally with skin tone without leaving a stark white cast. Has a smooth application with a consistency that prevents dripping. Rich in skin-regenerating ingredients. EWG grade 1 and free from allergens, making it gentle enough for sensitive skin.
ConsCan pill if applied too heavily (recommended to use small amounts as per instructions). The scent is reminiscent of old-fashioned cosmetics, which may be disappointing. The color is a bit underwhelming (doesn't provide a pink-toned brightening effect).

While it doesn't cover blemishes, those with naturally good skin might find this alone sufficient. Looking at the product description, it seems to contain many beneficial ingredients, so I applied it hoping for skin improvement, though it doesn't have sunscreen functionality. I didn't experience any breakouts or skin issues after using this. It's perfect for those days when you want to quickly run errands, feel a bit self-conscious about bare skin, but don't want to put on full makeup.
ConsThere's some pilling if you try to layer it, so I apply it moderately. Right after application, the skin looks good, but it starts to wear off quickly. If you have oily skin, you'll notice it coming off in patches, especially around the nose and chin. It's also disappointing that it doesn't provide sun protection, so you need to apply sunscreen and then this product on top. By the afternoon, you'll likely need to touch up with a cushion foundation that has better coverage.
TipIt works well when used under a cushion foundation.

Tone-up, up and away It brightens the skin naturally without leaving a ghostly white cast! I've tried a tone-up cream that was previously ranked #1 on Hwahae, but it looked dull and unnatural. This product seems to truly 'tone up' the skin in a natural way. However, that doesn't mean it provides coverage. The coverage is almost non-existent... But it does seem to neutralize redness!
ConsThe scent is not great Other reviews mentioned it smells like powder or 'mom's nourishing cream', but to me, it just has a strange odor. I even wondered if it had gone bad because of the smell. It pills I wear glasses, so I'm quite sensitive to pilling, and this product pills quite a bit. Not just on glasses, but if you touch your face after applying, it leaves marks. It also seems to gather around the nose area. This is the most disappointing aspect... The tube At first, when I pressed the pump to squeeze out the product, the tube crumpled because it was so flimsy. I thought I'd have to write this as a con! But then I realized that when it's almost empty, you might be able to squeeze out the remaining product easily. I haven't actually tried it yet since there's still a lot left, but I wonder if that's what they had in mind when designing it...
TipThis might work well for those with an even complexion but just darker skin tone! Since it neutralized my redness well, I'd also recommend it for those concerned about flushing! I wouldn't recommend this for those needing coverage for dark spots or blemishes.

Cons✨ Cons * It tends to settle into pores around the nose area... * The application feels slightly prone to pilling * Personally, I find the case inconvenient (it gets quite slippery when trying to squeeze out product with cream already on your hands)
Tip✨ Overall Review * Hmm... To be honest, apart from the natural look due to its ivory color, I'm not sure what else to say * I'm at a loss for words... I might end up using this on my neck... sigh... * Even though I shook it thoroughly before use, it still pills. It pills, but if you keep blending, a tiny amount eventually spreads over the entire face. Sigh... I think there are plenty of other products on the market that could replace this without requiring so much effort I'm truly sorry, but I absolutely wouldn't buy this with my own money...
