ConsI can't think of any downsides. While results may vary from person to person, it seems to improve skin condition.

It leaves a matte finish that feels like you're not wearing anything at all.
ConsWhere do I even begin? Let's start with the positives. Yes, it does have a powdery finish, but for my oily skin, it still feels a bit greasy. My dry-skinned sister, on the other hand, finds it too matte and barely noticeable, but she's using it happily. Now, it doesn't play well with my emulsion. I use Es*ee moisturizer, and even if I apply this sunstick long after, it pills terribly - like, to the point where I can't even use it. It was fine with other creams though (like Mi*in Cica Cream). I could have overlooked the pilling, chalking it up to the nature of sunsticks, and that alone wouldn't warrant a one-star review. The main reason for the low rating is this: I had been using it well, repurchased in March, and started using it again. I'd stopped before due to the pilling, but it never irritated my skin or caused breakouts. I even finished a whole stick. I decided to give it another go in March because my other sunscreen was too sticky. Now, I walk my dog daily, and suddenly, every time I was exposed to sunlight, my face would break out in itchy, mosquito-bite-like bumps. The itching was unbearable - I'd scratch so much that my face would get wounded and sting when I washed it. One day I stayed in, and it didn't happen, so I looked up the symptoms - they matched sun allergy perfectly. My mom had suffered from sun allergy for years, so I assumed that's what it was and kept using the sunstick. But then my mom, who had also used this sunstick, broke out in 10 pimples after just one day of use and stopped immediately. She suggested it might be the sunstick, so I tried a sample of a different sunscreen - and guess what? No reaction, even in full sun exposure. I'd heard that a once-loved cosmetic product can become your worst enemy if your skin condition changes, but I never expected this. Unlike my mom, I didn't get covered in acne, but my whole face would get itchy and red. If the product hasn't been reformulated, it might just be my skin, but seeing that it didn't work for my mom either, I'd caution those with sensitive skin to be very careful with this. Between the pilling and this reaction, I can't use it before makeup at all. I've got two sticks left that I'll use on my body instead. At least I'm relieved it's the product and not actual sun allergy.
TipI strongly recommend that those with sensitive skin do a patch test before purchasing.

It absorbs well and is perfect for applying on arms and neck. I love that it's a mineral sunscreen, making it great to layer over my chemical sunscreen for extra protection!
ConsWhen you come out of the water, it leaves a white residue on the skin, almost like dead skin cells. Buying from the official website means paying for shipping, and the price is a bit on the higher side.

I'm really enjoying using it.
ConsWhile there aren't any major downsides, as a sunscreen stick, it's sometimes unclear if it's providing full sun protection coverage.

While I have combination dehydrated skin, it's also great for those with oily skin. In the morning, I apply sunscreen, and then use this sun stick after lunch. It controls oil well, so it doesn't feel sticky at all - instead, it leaves my skin feeling fresh and matte! For those with very oily skin, I recommend lightly blotting with oil-absorbing sheets before applying the sun stick for the best results.
ConsIt's a bit pricier compared to other sun sticks, but considering how well it works, I'm satisfied with its performance for the cost.

I love how easy it is to apply and that it doesn't leave any greasy shine. It's great for quickly smoothing over arms before heading out, with no sticky feeling. Even after hours, my face stays matte without any oiliness.
ConsWhen applying, it does feel a bit thick and heavy. One downside is that when you rub it on your arms, the powdery finish can transfer slightly onto clothes.

Unik truly lives up to its reputation!
ConsIt doesn't cause any blemishes and applies with an overall matte finish, so I highly recommend it for oily skin types.

It's not a dry, powdery kind of smoothness. The twisting mechanism at the bottom (can't remember what that green part is called) works smoothly, which is great! With other brands, I've struggled with stiff, hard-to-turn applicators, but Unique seems to have really nailed the packaging quality.
ConsAs someone with dehydrated skin, I applied it to my neck and arms. Unfortunately, it transfers quite easily onto dark clothes, leaving white marks. Even my bag turned pale (I've attached a photo of it on my black nylon bag). Despite this, I still recommend it because it's so wonderfully non-sticky.
TipPerfect for use with light-colored clothing! When reapplying, make sure to apply in one direction! Rubbing up and down vigorously can cause it to clump up.

As the weather is getting warmer and my face is starting to produce more oil, I feel like I've found the perfect sunstick for this season! First of all, it's so portable and easy to use that I find myself reaching for it often. I'm extremely satisfied and continue to use it regularly!
ConsIn terms of how it feels on the skin, I had no complaints while using it! I found myself using it so frequently that it started to run out quickly, which was a bit sad. But then again, that's proof of how much I've been using and enjoying it, so I'm satisfied!
TipI always apply my regular sunscreen as a base, and then I reapply this sunstick every 2-3 hours. With this routine, I feel protected from the sun and don't fear the UV rays as much!

True to its name as a 'powdery sun stick', it feels light on the skin without any stickiness. It's ideal for those who find oily and heavy sunscreens burdensome. Due to its powdery finish, it's suitable for use not only on the face but also on areas that come into frequent contact with clothing, such as the neck, arms, and legs. While it's great for year-round use, it's particularly well-suited for summer. It's convenient to use anywhere on the face or body without leaving an unpleasant rich feeling on your hands, allowing for quick and easy application.
ConsWhen first using the product, the sun stick may not apply evenly and might pill like dead skin cells. Due to the nature of stick products, dust and other foreign particles may accumulate on the part of the stick that directly contacts the skin. As you can visibly see the sun stick wearing down during use, it may feel like it's depleting faster than a regular sunscreen.
TipIf you have dry skin, avoid direct application to the face during dry seasons like winter.
