Moreover, the twist-up design is super convenient, and the larger application surface area is actually a huge plus! I'm thrilled to have discovered such a great product that not only protects but also helps reduce sebum and minimize pores.
ConsI honestly can't think of any downsides! This is the only sunstick I've ever been completely satisfied with among all the ones I've tried.
TipThey say it's best to reapply sunscreen twice, but that can be such a hassle sometimes. Since I started using this sunstick, I first glide it on smoothly, then follow up with regular sunscreen. It makes my skin feel even smoother and more matte, and everything seems to apply better! Of course, reapplying just the sunstick twice works great too.

As someone with oily skin, I often get blemishes from using greasy products, but this one keeps my skin feeling fresh and matte. 2. It's easy to use. 3. After applying my skincare, I smooth this on thoroughly. Perhaps because it's so gentle, I don't get any acne or blemishes, and my makeup doesn't separate. 4. It's also great for improving pores and controlling sebum. --> For those like me with oily skin that gets greasier as the day goes on, this product absorbs excess oil when applied, preventing blemishes and leaving skin feeling fresh. Since I wear makeup, I find this sunscreen works better for me than a brightening moisturizer. It's also fragrance-free and gentle.
ConsIn terms of hygiene, it's not as convenient as a tube format... A shame. It's quite matte, so it would be nice if it were a bit more moisturizing.
TipI recommend applying a hydrating base, then using this sunstick! Since the stick format tends to be matte, it's best to apply a moisturizing base first, then the sunscreen. Pat it in to help it absorb. After that, you can apply foundation or other makeup! Also, I recommend using a makeup remover or cleansing oil when taking it off.

Just the name alone makes you think of a light, fresh feel! Most sunscreens tend to be sticky and cling to your hair, but this one seems to have minimized those drawbacks for a more powdery finish. Interestingly, the entire bottom part of the sunstick rotates - how unique and fun! Apparently, it also helps reduce pores and control sebum. The shape is a standard rectangular, flat sunstick. Using a sunstick implies frequent sun exposure, especially in summer when you're likely to apply more. It's great that it tightens pores, considering the heat and sweat that come with warmer weather. Upon application, it adheres well to the skin without causing any eye irritation. The texture isn't stiff at all - it glides on smoothly and easily.
ConsIt feels like it doesn't wash off easily. You might need to do a thorough first cleanse with an oil cleanser, followed by a foaming cleanser to remove it properly. It's not specified whether it's a chemical or physical sunscreen. However, given the minimal white cast, I suspect it might be a chemical sunscreen.

The first thing that caught my eye was that it could address pore and sebum concerns. I'm not sure exactly why, but it's said to instantly tighten pores and absorb excess oil! For someone like me with oily skin, sunscreens that are too rich can cause blemishes. When my acne was at its worst, I often avoided applying sunscreen altogether (I'm sure many of you can relate to this dilemma). That's why lately, as the weather's been getting warmer, I've been using mineral or no-sebum sunscreens. But with the Unique sunstick, I don't have to worry about any of that, which is great. It feels like you're not wearing anything at all - it's completely matte. I can see myself carrying this around in summer for quick touch-ups! When I used it, I didn't experience any blemishes, and it controlled oil so well that there was less shine on my face. I definitely recommend it!
ConsEven though it's SPF 50+, it feels and looks like you haven't applied anything, so it's hard to tell how much you've actually put on. It's not really a downside, more like... it's difficult to control the amount? At this rate, I feel like I might use it up pretty quickly.
TipIt would be great to carry around in summer and use on areas like the neck and arms when you're out and about.
