This feels incredibly cooling on the skin when applied. If you place it over areas of redness for about 5 minutes and then remove, the redness disappears. It feels quite sticky when finishing up and doesn't absorb well. Strangely, when patting it into the skin to help absorption, something like dead skin cells starts to pill up. This is my holy grail product - I'm on my 5th bottle! It has a definite calming effect, and it's especially effective when my skin feels hot and irritated. It works like magic in those situations! Skin type: Very dry, sensitive Review: It effectively reduces heat and has a definite calming effect I had a bunch of blemishes on my forehead and needed to reduce the heat, so I tried this, and it's quite good! It's worth using. The pads are slightly thick, but not to a bothersome degree, and they adhere well to the skin, which is great. While it's not like "Wow! The heat is completely gone!", it does reduce it to some extent, so it's pretty decent. As someone who has always loved the blue pads from Cell Fusion C... I'm a bit disappointed. I'd use this on days when I have skin blemishes, but if I don't have any issues, why use this? It's just too disappointing. The blue ones have much more hydration, are much better at reducing heat, and above all, the pad thickness... the blue ones are thinner and better. The blue ones are superior in every aspect. If you don't have many skin blemishes, definitely buy the blue version instead. The pads are incredibly thick! Thanks to their thickness, I could leave them on for a long time without feeling any dryness. The scent was also perfect for my taste. I think this is an excellent product for simultaneously managing heat and blemishes during summer! I used it religiously day and night. If you buy it during a sale, it's really affordable for pads, so I highly recommend it! When I used the pads for spot treatment, there was a slight irritation. However, it wasn't severe, so gently patting it on worked fine even for spot treatments! Still, for those with super sensitive skin, I strongly suggest using it as a mask rather than for spot treatment. If you layer this on top of aloe vera gel like an aloe mask, it's absolute bliss.
