I've tried other Cica pads before, but I was curious about how the cooling pads would be different. But as soon as I applied it, I was amazed at how refreshingly cool it felt. It's great to use before makeup to reduce heat. The pad is on the thicker side, but there's a lot of essence, so even if you leave it on for a while, it doesn't dry out. After removing it, I was able to squeeze out the remaining essence and apply it to my neck, which was perfect.
Cons
There is a stinging sensation when the essence touches areas that are irritated or wounded, but that's to be expected. Instead, the immediate cooling sensation is nice, and it lasts a bit longer than other toner pads.

Pros
I simply put it in the refrigerator and thought it would just be a cool pad, but I was shocked... It's incredibly cold!!!!!! When I play computer games, my face gets very hot, and when I stick it on my cheeks, the heat goes down, and it even freezes cold... It's been 20-30 minutes since I've been wearing it, but it hasn't dried out and is still moist. The pad is made of gauze, so there is no irritation, and it's great for refining the skin texture before makeup. It looks like kimchi, but it has no irritating scent, and the pad is thick enough not to dry out, with good adhesion, so it doesn't fall off. There's a part where you can insert a clip, and it seems thoughtful that you have to carefully insert the clip there to fix it properly. When I had a lot of painful acne on my chin, cheeks, and forehead, and put the pad on it, the throbbing pain went away, and it visibly calmed down, so I'll try to comfortably stick this on when I'm too lazy to do a face pack.
