It provides a natural brightening effect without any white cast, and it absorbs so well that you don't have to worry about it not adhering to your skin! The staying power seems a bit disappointing. After a few hours of wear, you feel the need to reapply or touch up with a cushion compact, which is somewhat frustrating. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 6, 2025
At some point, cushion foundations started feeling too heavy, so I switched to just using Ch*x Park tone-up sunscreen. Then I discovered this Irénol bare-face cream. I love that it combines the effects of a brightening moisturizer and sunscreen. I'm really satisfied with how it evens my skin tone in a natural way. The texture is quite thick, so it requires thorough blending. The coverage is on the lighter side. Since the coverage is light, after applying this bare-face cream, I just dab a small amount of foundation cushion on areas that need extra coverage. Works great! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 6, 2025
I decided to try this product after seeing so many ads on Instagram! I was looking for a brightening moisturizer because I don't like using foundation and hate putting on makeup. I'm pleased that it evens my skin tone naturally. It's also great that it doesn't feel harsh on my sensitive skin! To be honest, it's a bit pricey, and the packaging looks like some kind of ointment tube, which isn't very attractive. Although they heavily advertise it as a brightening moisturizer, it feels more like an old-school BB cream. I wasn't impressed with how it absorbs. It tends to clog my pores and feels a bit thick. After applying it with my hands, they feel really greasy, and I have to wash them right away, which is annoying. Overall, I'm not as satisfied as I expected to be. I find myself reaching for my usual tone-up sunscreen more often. I think it looks prettier on the skin if you pat it in with a puff instead! But then again, if you're going to do that, you might as well just apply makeup... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 27, 2025
I bought shade 2.0 to match my neck (shade 22) since my face is shade 21. It's suitable for those with shade 21 who want a natural brightening and correction effect. It applies moisturizing, and if you find the right shade, it's perfect for achieving a bare-faced look with just sunscreen. It even covers light blemish scars and redness around the nose to some extent. Even with just basic skincare and this bare-face cream, the staying power isn't bad. After about 5-6 hours, there's a slight increase in oiliness, but gently blotting with a tissue and touching up makes it look fresh again. If you don't exfoliate, it shows all your dead skin cells, so make sure to moisturize well in your skincare routine before applying. It might not cover or weakly cover large pores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 22, 2025
The Hwahae Testers' favorite brightening moisturizer is a game-changer for my morning routine. Unlike my usual products that require separate sunscreen, this one combines sun protection and a natural-looking glow that brightens my complexion as if it's my own skin. It absorbs well, feels light, and works wonders! For those with dry skin, just make sure to prep with a good skincare routine to prevent any dead skin cells from showing. It doesn't cover blemishes at all, so if you have problematic skin, you'll need to use a concealing cushion. (It only manages to cover mild redness.) While it's not quite a 'bare face' look, it gives your skin a subtle enhancement that's perfect for casual outings. You can confidently bump into acquaintances during a quick neighborhood stroll without feeling self-conscious. It's so convenient to apply! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 13, 2025
It's so convenient, and I love that it has sun protection. I bought it after seeing it on Instagram and was a bit skeptical, but I'm really satisfied with how natural the makeup looks. I've been recommending it to everyone around me! I'm a bit concerned that my face gets quite oily after applying it and going out Mixing the dark and light shades is pretty common, and that's how I use it too! To manage the rich feeling, I use Gatsby oil blotting papers throughout the day - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 4, 2025
The Airenol Bare Face Cream 2.0 is perfect for skin tones 22 and above, and I highly recommend it for those with slightly darker complexions like mine. It's especially great for those concerned with redness or flushing! It provides natural coverage while making your skin look healthier. The texture is smooth and hydrating, absorbing well into the skin without any dryness. Thanks to this, I can confidently apply it quickly in the morning and head out with a brighter complexion. I strongly recommend the Airenol Bare Face Cream for anyone looking for a natural, bare-faced makeup look! It matches my skin tone well and I have no complaints! It's become my daily go-to product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 16, 2025
After using it for about a month, I loved how it naturally brightened my complexion while keeping my skin hydrated! It applies thinly like skincare products, which was great for wearing under a mask all day at work without much transfer. While the coverage isn't as good as foundation, making it a bit challenging for bare-faced office days, it works well as a 'no-makeup makeup' product! On days when I need to wear makeup, I use this as a sun base after my skincare routine and then apply foundation. The absorption is so good that my makeup doesn't pill at all! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 11, 2025
This is a bare-face cream that offers sun protection, soothing effects, and brightening benefits all in one. The brand Airenol is famous for its natural-looking cover creams, and after trying it myself, I can see why it's so popular! When applying, it doesn't feel like it's floating on the skin or pilling, but instead provides a natural coverage. The absorbs so well that you can hardly tell you're wearing anything - it's truly the epitome of hydration! There's no creasing in fine lines, and it adheres to the skin so naturally. On busy mornings, you can just apply it lightly to your bare face, and it subtly covers imperfections, which is great! With my complexion between shades 21 and 22, I found 21 slightly light and 22 slightly dark. If you like a brighter look, go for 21, but for a truly natural tone, I'd recommend 22. While it felt great when first applied, the slight downside is that when it starts to wear off, it can look a bit messy. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinFeb 10, 2025
