It adheres to the skin better than expected and really evens out my complexion!! While the coverage is light, it definitely does a great job at balancing my skin tone!! It tends to make my skin quite shiny, which can sometimes make it look like I'm sweating..! Keep that in mind! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMay 9, 2025
I bought this with my own money using Naver Pay. My complexion tends to be on the reddish side, so I wasn't sure which shade would suit me best. I ordered two different colors to try. The 1.0 shade was too light for me and looked a bit off. Although they suggest mixing shades, I found that 2.0 worked better for my skin without blending. This is truly a 'bare-faced' cream. It gives you that 'no-makeup' look while making your skin appear brighter and more radiant. While it doesn't provide heavy coverage for blemishes, it does a decent job overall. 'Bare-faced cream' is the perfect description for this product. It's ideal for those who dislike fussy routines or find regular sunscreens make them look dull. I have combination skin that tends to be on the oilier side. If I'm diligent with my skincare routine before applying this, it can make my skin look a bit shiny. After your toner, serum, and moisturizer, try applying this cream by dotting it on your face, then gently patting and blending it in. You can always add more if needed for better coverage. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 13, 2025
It's so convenient, and I love that it has sun protection. I bought it after seeing it on Instagram and was a bit skeptical, but I'm really satisfied with how natural the makeup looks. I've been recommending it to everyone around me! I'm a bit concerned that my face gets quite oily after applying it and going out Mixing the dark and light shades is pretty common, and that's how I use it too! To manage the rich feeling, I use Gatsby oil blotting papers throughout the day - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2025
It absorbs well and has sun protection, making it convenient to use! The complexion looks good too, so I was quite satisfied! The one for dark circles was a bit matte, I wish it was somewhere in between. It was slightly shiny, which was a bit disappointing! I found that applying small amounts in layers rather than a lot at once gives a more natural color expression. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 29, 2024
It's a sunscreen with a tint, just like a BB cream! I think it would be great for dry skin types due to its moisturizing properties. Personally, I feel it goes beyond being moisturizing to having excessive oil. It feels a bit greasy and sits on top of the skin. I didn't get the sense that it absorbs well. Even though it's a sunscreen, I felt like I needed to pat it in with a puff. It seems good for applying lightly as a BB cream alternative. I think it would work well if applied after your skincare routine and before makeup. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinOct 8, 2024
The color appears natural and it absorbs well. It's hydrating and gives a subtle glow that looks like my own skin. It's as if I'm not wearing any makeup at all! I bought this product with my own money from another retailer and wrote this review, just FYI! It might be due to the rich texture, but it tends to attract dust. Also, it can cause some eye irritation. It's essential to control the amount you use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 8, 2024
This has been a huge help for my dehydrated, sensitive, acne-prone skin that usually can't handle foundation! It provides just the right amount of coverage while brightening my complexion, leaving my skin looking fresh. I've never experienced any blemishes from it, and the sun protection is excellent - my skin has actually improved! There wasn't really anything I disliked about it! It barely darkened my skin, and even in the peak of summer, it kept oil at bay. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2024
It does brighten the complexion, but I can't think of any other notable benefits worth mentioning. It's excessively rich and causes pilling. Whether applied by hand or with a cushion, it rolls off like dirt. Putting foundation on top is a disaster. I've stopped using it altogether. What a waste of money, sigh... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 11, 2024
The Hwahae Testers!!!! I'm so late in writing this review, I'm sorry! First off, while Ailenol is famous for their dark circle cover product, I tried their bare-face correcting sunscreen as a Hwahae Tester since it caught my eye. To start with... it's not great. The color is a perfect ivory, but it's quite rich. It might be a bit much for summer use, probably better suited for winter. There are so many good sunscreens out there these days. I'm someone who always wears sunscreen, and even in summer I like to apply something somewhat hydrating, then use matte sunscreen and cushion foundation. But... hmm... it transfers too... Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. Just in case, I'll keep using it to see if my opinion changes! It's oily... and transfers...? Impossible to use in summer, unfortunately. Still, I'll try it with a light base routine. I'll give it another shot in winter or maybe fall. Right now, it's just too much!!!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 10, 2024
Wow! My skin usually flakes around the nose no matter what I apply, but with this product, it barely flaked at all... even without using any base skincare!!!!!! It's moisturizing and applies smoothly. The first photo shows it applied, and in the second photo, the left side is with the product, the right side without. I have terrible dark circles, but it covered them so naturally!!! I've been too lazy to use sunscreen for a while, but applying this before makeup acts like a makeup base, evening out my complexion a bit. It's truly a miracle worker! As moisturizing and smooth as it is, it does feel quite rich. I absolutely can't use this alone and will need to follow up with some powder. It's definitely not suited for summer when you're sweaty. However, it would be great for those looking for a sunscreen that evens skin tone, especially during spring, fall, and winter! Since it's quite rich, if using it alone, use blotting paper before applying powder! If you apply powder directly, it might cake up in wrinkles due to the oiliness!! Considering how it slightly covered even my dark circles (which even my exes mentioned were severe...;;) with just a quick application, it's perfect for evening out skin tone!!!
