It removes makeup gently without irritating the skin and cleanses thoroughly!
ConsI used this to remove all my eye makeup, but it stings terribly if it gets in your eyes. It's quite challenging to open your eyes to find the cleansing foam after applying this cleansing gel.

The sleek and luxurious design put me in a great mood as soon as I opened it. It really gives off that high-end cosmetics vibe I love. This is the ultimate moisturizing cleanser. My skin usually feels tight after cleansing, but with this product, that sensation is noticeably reduced. It's fantastic! The only downside is that it can feel a bit slippery, which is a minor inconvenience. It's a gentle cleanser with a lightweight formula. I've often found cleansing oils and balms to feel heavy, but this product feels incredibly light, without that typical oily sensation. Apart from some eye sensitivity, it caused minimal irritation, which I really appreciate.
ConsEye sensitivity... I heard this product was gentle on the eyes, but for someone with sensitive eyes like me, it still caused quite a bit of discomfort. Because of this, I ended up removing eye makeup separately and avoiding using the product around my eyes. Cleansing power could be better. Perhaps due to its lightweight formula, it doesn't effectively remove waterproof products without a separate makeup remover. I was also a bit disappointed with its ability to clear blackheads. Additionally, it leaves behind more residue than I'd like, which is somewhat frustrating.

It feels like applying a cream when you massage it onto your face, gliding smoothly and leaving you feeling refreshed. The jelly-cream texture adheres well to pores, seemingly helping to remove some sebum, especially around the nose area. I appreciate that it's gentle and non-irritating. As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I've been using it without any blemishes. I'm definitely considering repurchasing.
ConsThere aren't really any downsides, but I did notice a slight stinging sensation when it got into my eyes. I'll need to be more careful when cleansing around the eye area.
TipFor best results, warm your hands before gently massaging the product around your nose and other areas prone to excess oil. This helps to dissolve sebum more effectively.

A completely new texture - This oil has a totally different texture from any I've used before. It's literally like jelly! I've been using the Dear, Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop, and this cleansing oil feels exactly like that. Maybe that's why it feels so moisturizing. Its rich consistency seems to remove makeup even more effectively. I'm completely satisfied with the texture! 2. Quick emulsification - The first thing I look for in a cleansing oil is how well it emulsifies, and this one emulsifies as soon as it touches water. To be honest, I was skeptical at first, thinking 'How can something this rich emulsify?' But it really does cleanse thoroughly.
ConsThe biggest downside was that it stung a bit when it got in my eyes. I tend to rub my face quite vigorously, and every time I did, my eyes felt a little irritated. While it's great for removing makeup, those with sensitive eyes might want to avoid this one.

Clean ingredients Free from harmful substances, it has gentle ingredients Satisfied with the many moisturizing vegan ingredients like fermented kombucha, panthenol, and plant-based oils 2. Non-drip formula When pumped, it comes out as a jelly-like texture that thins out as you massage it, allowing for smooth application without running 3. Removes makeup effectively As shown in the photo, it removes makeup well Tested with Kissmee mascara and waterproof eyeliner - everything came off after about a minute of gentle rubbing When used with a point remover, it seems like no makeup would be left behind 4. Grain scent It has a natural grain scent, not artificial - noticeable if you smell it up close, but barely detectable during application Great for those who avoid artificial fragrances due to headaches, as it's almost unscented 5. Removes whiteheads Light whiteheads are removed while rolling the product on the skin
ConsStings if it gets in your eyes Eyes may become red and irritated when removing makeup Make sure to keep your eyes tightly closed when cleansing around them
TipSince it doesn't drip, you can use a generous amount for gentle, non-irritating cleansing

I don't usually wear heavy makeup. Texture: After using liquid-type oils, I tried this jelly-type and loved that it doesn't run! The texture is between a balm and a cream. When applied and massaged, it melts and transforms into an oil-like consistency, seeming to dissolve makeup. Perhaps due to its texture, it doesn't drip even when emulsified, allowing for a clean and effective cleanse. Scent: Seems unscented. I didn't notice any particular fragrance. After-feel: I always do a double cleanse, so I can't compare using this product alone. However, compared to other products I've used, my skin didn't feel tight or dry after cleansing.
ConsWhile trying to remove eye makeup, I accidentally got some in my eye and it stung terribly! Be careful!
TipIt has a pump lock and doesn't have a runny consistency, so it should be great for travel!

It's my go-to because it saves me from the hassle of double or triple cleansing to remove leftover cosmetics from my pores. However, carrying around oil cleansers was always a bit inconvenient. They tend to leak and are difficult to clean up. The Kombu Jelly Oil is different - it has a soft, moisturizer-like jelly texture that's easy to carry around. It melts quickly when you start rolling it on, which I love. Despite its jelly form, it dissolves rapidly and feels gentle, causing less irritation. Some oils don't emulsify visibly, but this one turns satisfyingly milky! Unlike other cleansing oils, this one is fragrance-free, which I appreciate. Most cleansing oils tend to have strong scents. Its cleansing effectiveness is so good that you might not even need a second cleanse. My personal rating would be 4.2 out of 5! I'll mention the downside in the 'bad' section, but there's a slight eye irritation. It's interesting that while it doesn't irritate the skin, it does sting the eyes a bit. Other than that, everything else is great!
ConsBe careful when rolling it around your eyes as it can cause slight stinging!

It felt like staying at a highly-rated guesthouse... • The emulsion-like texture was intriguing. At first, I was unsure, but as I massaged it in, I could feel its rich quality • While not completely fragrance-free, the scent isn't off-putting, so even those with sensitive noses might be able to use it • It removed my makeup effectively, which I appreciated • I'm considering repurchasing
Cons• As I have very dry skin, I experienced some deep dryness • Be careful when cleansing around the eyes as it can cause a burning sensation if it gets in

Even the stickers are made of paper for easy recycling. I've been using this as my go-to first cleanser since I usually wear sunscreen and draw my eyebrows before going out. Although it's an emulsion, it transforms into an oil-like texture when you massage it onto your face, similar to a cleansing oil. It's nearly fragrance-free. When you add water and massage again, it emulsifies just like a cleansing oil. It effectively removes sunscreen and eyebrow makeup, and does a decent job with eyeshadow, foundation, and mascara. However, it can sting if it gets in your eyes, making mascara removal a bit challenging. I typically use cleansing oil for everything and finish with a foaming cleanser. This product seemed to remove less sebum than I expected, and I didn't notice it cleaning as thoroughly as other products I usually use. Being an emulsion, it left my skin feeling less dry after the first cleanse with water, and even after the second cleanse with a foaming cleanser. Those who prefer a squeaky clean feeling might find it a bit less thorough.
ConsIt stings if it gets in your eyes, which is disappointing. Also, I'm not sure if this is because it's an export version, but the usage instructions on the back are only in English. That's a bit of a letdown. I assume the domestic version has Korean instructions?
TipThis product would likely work well for those with dry skin.

On days without makeup, two pumps were sufficient. For days with eyeliner or mascara, I used three pumps for cleansing. It's thick enough to stay put on the skin without dripping down the wrist or neck, which was convenient. Gentle massaging quickly transforms it into an oil. It emulsifies easily too. It removes makeup well and leaves a nice finish. The cleansing effectiveness itself is satisfactory, but I can't recommend it due to the eye irritation.
ConsIt stings the eyes severely when emulsifying... It's best not to use it around the eye area. There's significant eye irritation.
TipIt might be safer to use an eye makeup remover first, then cleanse the rest of the face with this product.
