I'm loving this new version even more than the original - it's brighter and less shiny! These days, I'm too lazy for a full face of makeup, so I just apply this and go. If you don't have major blemish concerns, this alone could be enough for you. It does a great job of covering pores and evening out skin tone. I'm honestly so impressed, I've been recommending it to everyone! This is especially great for students and office workers. You know how your face can look dull and tired by afternoon? (I still don't know why this happens!) Well, this product helps prevent that. I actually reapply it after washing my face in the afternoon for a fresh look. I used to use the original (pink) version, but received the purple one as a gift. Now I've even bought the green one (is it tea tree?). This is truly my holy grail sunscreen! While it's less oily than the original pink version, it still has a bit of richness to it. Those with oily skin might find it uncomfortable... I have combination-oily skin, and in summer I have to use powder on my T-zone and cheeks after applying this. Also, don't use too many heavy skincare products underneath. Make sure to spread the sunscreen evenly - it can pill sometimes if you're not careful. For those without major skin concerns, you can achieve a natural makeup look by just using this and adding a touch of cream blush. It's perfect for those times when you want a bit more than a bare face, but don't want to go full glam. - jr******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2025
It's great for a light brightening effect. Even with my sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes. While there weren't any major drawbacks, you need to pat it in well for proper application. - kh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 4, 2025
I've been using purple brightening moisturizers more often than pink ones lately. The purple ones give a noticeable improvement to my complexion with just a small amount. Perfect for this hot weather, they feel light on the skin without any stickiness. Even when worn alone, the brightening effect lasts for hours, so I find myself reaching for it every morning! I personally prefer a bit of a brightening effect, so when my complexion looks dull, I just apply a layer and it instantly gives me that fresh, radiant look. It's great for achieving that "no-makeup" look while still having flawless-looking skin. It does an excellent job at neutralizing yellow undertones, so it's perfect for Asian skin tones. I also highly recommend it as a base for those with cool undertones who love pink-toned makeup! The brightening effect is quite intense, so it's best suited for those with slightly fair skin. If you have a darker complexion, there might be a noticeable difference between your face and neck. It's not a completely matte, powdery finish - it's more fresh compared to pink brightening moisturizers. With proper skincare underneath, it can feel hydrating, so don't expect a super matte, powdery finish. Since it has a slightly powdery finish, to prevent pilling, apply it carefully with your hands after skincare. Avoid the hairline and areas with more peach fuzz for the best application. - 17*******Combination SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025
It's packed with great ingredients, gives a beautiful glow, and keeps my skin hydrated. I don't have any complaints so far. I hope they'll release a completely mineral-based brightening moisturizer with SPF in the future. - hj******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 27, 2025
It gives a natural brightening effect, and the application feels slightly whiter than pink. But Dalba is Dalba after all... It works hard! Unfortunately, it feels a bit richer than the pink version, which is a bit disappointing. - cl*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2025
Perfect for dry skin during seasonal transitions. It leaves your skin moisturized and beautifully textured. The brightening effect gives you a radiant complexion. The price is on the higher side... Wait for a buy-one-get-one-free sale to purchase. This product seems to be a brightening moisturizer that works well for those with dry skin, especially during changing seasons. It hydrates effectively and improves skin texture while also evening out the skin tone for a more luminous appearance. However, the cost might be a concern for some consumers, so it's recommended to look out for special promotions or sales to get the best value. - an******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 22, 2025
I'm a huge fan of Dalba mists, so I've been using their sunscreen too. The famous Dalba Waterfull Sunscreen has great absorption and texture, but it stings my eyes a bit. Next, I tried their tone-up sunscreen in the beige range - maybe with a pink undertone? It doesn't irritate my eyes at all and gives such a natural skin finish. It's become my absolute favorite sunscreen! This time, I bought the purple one out of curiosity. Despite many negative reviews, I was intrigued and decided to try it. Honestly, I don't find it that bad at all. I have very dry skin, but fortunately, in this season, it doesn't make me overly dry or oily. The application is smooth, though the color is a bit lighter than the original Dalba tone-up. It's a pale lavender shade, but when you first apply it, it looks quite white. I was worried about potential white cast, but after thoroughly blending, the white cast transforms into a natural brightening effect. It's not as bad as some reviews suggest! In fact, I think it might work even better in hot summer weather. However, if you're choosing between Dalba tone-up sunscreens, I'd still highly recommend the original over the purple line. Why? The original gives a prettier tone-up effect while keeping the skin hydrated! You absolutely must control the amount you use with this product. If you apply too much, it leaves a white cast-like residue on your face that takes a lot of effort to blend out properly. I recommend applying two thin layers rather than one thick layer. When you finish with a cushion foundation after using this product, your complexion really brightens up and looks radiant. - ss*********Combination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 21, 2025
The purple tint helps neutralize yellow undertones, which I find really nice for evening out my complexion. I usually apply sunscreen and primer, but when I rub in the primer, the sunscreen tends to leave a white cast on my face. This means I have to spend extra time making sure everything absorbs well. When layering products, it's important to allow each one to absorb fully before applying the next. This can help prevent pilling and ensure your skin gets the full benefits of each product in your routine. - yo********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesMay 16, 2025
The tone-up was quite satisfactory, and the application was not too bad. First, it wipes off well, rises, and exfoliates the dead skin. By the way, I have dry skin. Just slap on some Hwahae skincare...
