The purple tint helps neutralize yellow undertones, which I find really nice for evening out my complexion. I usually apply sunscreen and primer, but when I rub in the primer, the sunscreen tends to leave a white cast on my face. This means I have to spend extra time making sure everything absorbs well. When layering products, it's important to allow each one to absorb fully before applying the next. This can help prevent pilling and ensure your skin gets the full benefits of each product in your routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 24, 2025
It brightens the complexion more than Green and provides a nice, hydrating moisture boost. It doesn't absorb well into the skin and feels a bit heavy. I have sensitive skin, and after a while, it felt more suffocating than Green and made my skin slightly itchy. It might be too rich for oily skin types. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2025
When I applied it, there was a bit of dead skin cells coming up or lifting. It seems like a sunscreen that's a bit challenging to apply. It feels more rich than hydrating, so I probably won't use it when it gets warmer, but it might be fine in colder weather. Also, it makes your skin quite pale, so you need to use just the right amount for the sunscreen to be effective. If you apply too much, it becomes too white, so it might work better as a makeup base. The scent is strong, like vitamins...? I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's a smell I've encountered before in my life. It has a strong vitamin-like fragrance. It's difficult to absorb. If you're looking for a sunscreen you can apply carelessly, I wouldn't recommend this. But if you're searching for something that evens skin tone and provides sun protection, I'd suggest giving it a try. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 13, 2025
1. Natural brightening effect The purple corrector color provides a natural brightening effect. I was worried it might leave a white cast, but it doesn't at all - it's like turning on a soft light for your complexion. The subtle, lively hue evens out the skin tone, making it perfect to use before applying makeup base. 2. Moisturizing sunscreen Having used Espoir's Waterfull Sun Cream before, most sunscreens felt thick to me. But this is the first sunscreen I've found that's moisturizing and smooth! I was hesitant about the purple one since I heard the Waterfull Sun Cream can be oily, but I'm using it well as a hydrating, glowy sunscreen without any greasiness or floating. Highly recommended for winter! 3. Gentle sunscreen I've been using it without any blemishes (like skin bumps) - it's very gentle on the skin! 1. Absorption Usually, people apply sunscreen before putting on makeup base, right? This one takes a bit longer to absorb compared to my previous sunscreen. If you apply cushion foundation right after the sunscreen, it leaves marks and pills. You need to let it dry and absorb a bit before applying your base products! 2. Price Even though it's a 1+1 deal, it's still quite pricey. I recommend purchasing during Olive Young's sale periods. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 8, 2024
It brightens up my dull, flushed face, making my skin look radiant and feel moisturized. I love it! When applied in large amounts, it doesn't absorb well, so I'm layering it on in small quantities.
