My 60-year-old mother in the countryside called to say she had bought something that reminded her of me and was so excited about it, but... Wow, it's so thick and sticky, like clay, and my pores are all visible - it's really not good. I've also posted a real photo of my skin. It really doesn't seem right...ugh.

The color is pale and bright. It's a glossy, moisturizing cream balm type.

As mentioned earlier, this cream-type foundation applies beautifully when patted on. You can use a brush if you have one, or a puff - just pat it on and then gently press and roll it out to distribute it evenly. Since there may be some streaks, it's a good idea to lightly press some powder around the hairline and nose area.

The coverage may be slightly lacking for covering blemishes, but it can cover redness to some extent. And as time passes, it becomes dewy, so it peels off quickly. Like other cushions, if you dab and apply it, a slight clumping is visible. So it's better to apply it with a brush or by pressing it with the cushion. As it's a night type, it tends to attract more dust compared to other cushions, and the cleanliness aspect is a bit disappointing.

The product is a Hwahae, so I didn't expect much coverage, but it surprisingly had good coverage. When I bought the cushion, I also considered the design, and it's cute, like a pebble. Since it's in a compact form, it's easier to check how much product is left compared to other foundations. The skin texture is also nicely expressed. There were no major issues when doing touch-ups, and it applies well.

It is essential to apply with the accompanying brush and finish with a puff. :)

My skin is quite sensitive, but... using this product was a real 'trouble party' every time. Switching to a different cushion immediately made it better. I don't wear makeup often, only about once a week, but even that brush was extremely irritating to my skin. And it's not like the coverage or application was great either... I just don't use it. The case is pretty, but after a month or two, it started falling apart.

I purchased and used it right after it was released. The good points are that the case is pretty...? The cream formula is convenient when partial coverage is needed, I think.

Due to the product's formulation, there is a lot of oil that comes up. If you lightly apply powder once right after makeup, it helps reduce the greasy feeling over time.

Puffs and combinations are not very good, so using a brush is essential.
 Since it is a foundation balm, touch-up makeup is relatively difficult. It's not impossible to do touch-up makeup, but it requires more effort compared to other cushions.

The Hwahae Coating Balm is great because it doesn't have the dry, cracked, and chaotic feeling that is common with even the most moisturizing cushion foundations. As a foundation balm, it's perfect for dry-skinned individuals to use as a winter base, as it effectively combats dryness. However, for oily-skinned individuals, the product may be too emollient to use alone in the winter, so thorough powder application is recommended. The darkening effect is minimal, only slightly toning down the overall look, so those considering purchasing a shade lighter due to this concern can take this into account.

If you only apply powder, your skin will become cakey and the longevity will decrease...
Be sure to first spread it out with a brush and then apply it.

Applying two layers with a flat brush will increase adhesion and prevent excessive breakdown, and the coverage is quite decent!

It's better to apply the product by first spreading it with a brush spatula and then patting it with a puff, rather than directly patting it with the puff.

The coverage is not great. You definitely need to use a concealer. Haha...

Even though I have oily skin, my skin became very dry this winter. So I switched from the cushion I usually use to this cushion, and it's so beautiful! I'm applying it with a brush spatula, and it adheres so beautifully! I barely noticed any darkening.

It was applied too thickly and peeled off. And the darkening and stickiness were too severe.

The Hwahae balm was better than the Hwahae Cushion, but the color had a slightly grayish pink base and there was no darkening, but it was more darkened than the Hwahae Cushion. And it was applied too thickly, so I tried it with the included brush, but it wasn't particularly good either. The glow seemed nice, but there was also stickiness, it was too thick, the coverage was good but it looked like it was all peeling off because it was applied too thickly. I didn't like it much. It wasn't moisturizing or matte, it felt like oil was melted and applied to the skin.

I recommend applying the Hwahae generously to the brush and then spreading it on. Before applying the Hwahae to your face, mist your face thoroughly. This way, after applying the Hwahae, your skin will feel moisturized and the Hwahae will adhere well to your skin! Remember to mist your face!

After application, there is a feeling of dryness. You should mist it intermittently!

Since I purchased the package, it came with a brush as well.
This brush is really nice.

If used with a puff like regular powder foundation, it doesn't spread evenly.

It's like a foundation - you apply it on the face and then pat it in with a puff to absorb it!
It's truly a "Bamm!" product as the name suggests ^^

I wouldn't recommend it for extremely dry skin.
The balm-like texture doesn't stay dewy for long, so I have to rely on mists to maintain it.

If you have concerns about blemishes, I'd recommend it!! 
And if you want a glowy, dewy look, this is a great option.

It's a shame that I can't use it well right now because my skin barrier is weak. The brush is too cute and soft, but since I've been getting a lot of facial laser treatments, my sensitive skin seems to be irritated by this brush as well. The formula needs to be applied with a brush and then patted with a puff, but the formula that can be used with just a puff seems to be less irritating.

I'm glad I chose the rosy pink version instead of the yellow one for the 22nd olive tone. The color, design, and creamy texture were all very pleasing to me.
