ConsI used this during winter, hoping it would apply smoothly and keep my dry skin hydrated. Despite being a balm type, it goes on rather matte. If you don't control the amount well, it can create a very thick layer of makeup. The famous Age@Wellness balm cushion, along with its essence, sits lightly on the skin without feeling heavy, making it easy to achieve a clear, radiant look. This product, however, feels neither completely matte nor hydrating - it's in a strange in-between state. At least it doesn't cause blemishes, so I'll have to think more about how to make it work and look pretty. I was hoping for a cushion I could use effortlessly, but that's not the case.
TipIf you buy the special set with the mini brush, it helps control the amount applied. It doesn't apply very moisturizing on dry skin and has a matte finish, so those needing more hydration should look into other options.
