The darkening effect is more noticeable than just a natural breakdown, eventually feeling like you've only applied sunscreen. If you continue wearing it, it can appear oily, so I wouldn't recommend it if you dislike that look.

I've been using this product since last winter, and it's incredibly hydrating with almost no pilling! At first, I thought it might be too light for my 21 shade skin tone, but as time passed, it beautifully melted into my skin, making it look even better. As someone with combination dehydrated skin who dislikes dryness, I highly recommend this to others with similar concerns! While the coverage isn't exceptional due to its glowy nature, the way it absorbs into the skin is fantastic!

The included puff doesn't quite work for me, so I use disposable puffs from Daiso to really work the product into my skin. Just remember to control the amount you use!

The coverage might be a bit lacking for concealing blemishes, though it can cover redness. Due to its hydrating nature, it tends to wear off quickly as time passes. Like other cushions, patting it on can lead to some pilling. It's better to apply with a brush or by gently pressing and sliding the cushion puff. Being a balm type, it seems to attract more dust than other cushions, which is disappointing in terms of hygiene.

As someone with sensitive, dry skin, I was pleased that it didn't cause any itching or blemishes.
