The coverage and staying power are truly excellent, and there was absolutely no darkening of the skin. For those with very dry skin, it tends to flake if your skincare routine is even slightly lacking. When applying this product, those with combination dehydrated skin might want to layer a hydrating serum underneath for better results. Remember to focus on your skincare routine to maximize the benefits of this makeup. - lo*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 6, 2025
I've been using this product since last winter, and it's incredibly hydrating with almost no pilling! At first, I thought it might be too light for my 21 shade skin tone, but as time passed, it beautifully melted into my skin, making it look even better. As someone with combination dehydrated skin who dislikes dryness, I highly recommend this to others with similar concerns! While the coverage isn't exceptional due to its glowy nature, the way it absorbs into the skin is fantastic! The darkening effect is more noticeable than just a natural breakdown, eventually feeling like you've only applied sunscreen. If you continue wearing it, it can appear oily, so I wouldn't recommend it if you dislike that look. It works really well when applied with a brush, and I found it pairs nicely with drier concealers too! - sk*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 22, 2025
I've sworn off all other cushions now - this is the first one I've used down to the last drop! I even got a refill set and scraped every bit clean. The application is truly fantastic, and the way it wears off is just gorgeous. Even after 24 hours, it fades so beautifully that I never touch up my base makeup (except for when it's rubbed off or shifted). While the coverage isn't exceptionally high, it does a nice job evening out the skin tone and blurring blemishes. It's perfect for a natural look, but I often add concealer patches or extra concealer for more coverage. As someone with cool undertones and fair skin, I find the color blends seamlessly and looks very natural. There's really nothing bad to say... Though those with extremely oily skin might want to be a bit cautious. If you have very oily skin, you might end up with an oil slick party on your face! For those with dry to combination dehydrated skin, if you prep your skin well, this cushion looks absolutely stunning. The included puff doesn't quite work for me, so I use disposable puffs from Daiso to really work the product into my skin. Just remember to control the amount you use! - se***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMay 19, 2025
Instead of a puff, when applied with the included brush, it spreads thinly while providing good coverage and adhesion. There's a slightly shiny feeling, so it feels uncomfortable if I don't use powder. And the color was too dark. Spraying mist or fixative on the puff and then applying makeup would have been better. - mo******Combination SkinRecommendedMay 16, 2025
After applying a thin layer with the brush you used together, gently patting with a puff can create a thin and moisturized skin expression. The coverage is a bit lacking, but by layering it on, it will be able to conceal to a certain degree. - to******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 3, 2025
I bought this after seeing an ad and I'm quite satisfied. I love a glowy look, so I liked the luminous finish, and the coverage is pretty good too. The puff is so soft and squishy, which makes me happy. My sister loved it so much she bought two more. The best part is that since it's in a jar, unlike regular cushions, you can scrape out every last bit until the end. There wasn't anything particularly bad, but the free brush that came with it was a bit... meh? If you're thinking of buying this for the brush, I'd advise against it. Honestly, the spatula brush from the same company or the mini brush from Studio 17 seem to work better. - gy******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 23, 2025
As someone with combination skin, I loved how moisturizing it was while providing great coverage. While it's a bit disappointing that it transfers, I'm relieved that it hasn't caused any blemishes yet, so I'm using it with peace of mind. - vi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 21, 2025
The color is delightfully milky and bright. It's a glossy, moisturizing cream balm type. My 60-year-old mother in the countryside bought this excitedly, thinking of me and saying how great it was. But oh my... It applies so stiffly, like clay, and you can see all the pores. It's really not good at all. I'm posting a real picture of how it looks on my skin. It's truly not... what I expected... sigh. - al**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2025
Being a water balm, it's indeed moisturizing as expected, but I was pleasantly surprised by its coverage, which was better than anticipated. I also consider design when buying cushions, and this one is adorably shaped like a pebble. The balm format makes it easy to see how much product you've used and how much is left, unlike other cushion foundations. It seems to enhance skin texture beautifully. Touching up wasn't a problem, and it applies nicely. The coverage might be a bit lacking for concealing blemishes, though it can cover redness. Due to its hydrating nature, it tends to wear off quickly as time passes. Like other cushions, patting it on can lead to some pilling. It's better to apply with a brush or by gently pressing and sliding the cushion puff. Being a balm type, it seems to attract more dust than other cushions, which is disappointing in terms of hygiene. As mentioned above, this balm-type foundation looks best when applied with a pressing and sliding motion. You can use a brush if you have one, or use the puff by pressing, tapping, and re-blending any areas that look uneven. Since it can transfer, it's good to lightly set areas like the hairline and around the nose with powder. - ls*******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2025
The coverage and adherence are absolutely fantastic. Apply it with the included brush, then blend with a puff for best results. It doesn't cake up and has good staying power. I wouldn't recommend it for touch-ups, but it's great for initial application. The amount can be a bit tricky to control, and there's some slight settling into fine lines. It's essential to apply with the included brush and then refine with a puff for the best finish.
