The emulsion itself is slightly thin but has a consistency that doesn't drip. It spreads smoothly, absorbs well and quickly, and feels comfortable to use overall. The limited number of ingredients could also be seen as a plus point.
ConsHowever, being so light, it might be a bit drying for those with dry skin. Personally, I plan to use it in summer. It seems better suited for dead skin cell management rather than deep hydration. Although I've only used it for a week and couldn't visually confirm its effectiveness on dead skin cells, I sometimes feel a slight tingling sensation when applying, which suggests it's doing something. A word of caution: if you apply it to areas where you've been scratching or have small wounds, it can sting quite a bit. Regarding the scent, which many others have pointed out, to me it smells slightly like a stale steamed bun you'd eat in winter. Thankfully, the smell dissipates once it dries and you put clothes on.

I'm so grateful I won it through Lucky Vicky! The texture is like a typical moisturizing body emulsion, but less greasy and spreads easily. It's a white emulsion that doesn't feel sticky or sit on top of the skin, which I really appreciate. What I love most is that it gently exfoliates without the need for harsh body scrubs. While it didn't dramatically reduce my acne, it seemed to prevent new breakouts and shrink existing ones. This seems great for acne-prone skin! I'd recommend it for those who find body scrubs too irritating and want a gentler way to manage their skin.
ConsSince it's an exfoliating product, it can sting a bit on active acne or open wounds. The sensation is tolerable though. Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. It's kind of like milk with something slightly sour added to it... Those sensitive to smells might find it a bit challenging to use.

There's a slight tingling sensation, but that's the sign it's starting to work its magic. Consistency: It has a creamy feel, but once it absorbs, it leaves your skin feeling light and hydrated. Not heavy at all, so it's perfect even for summer use! Pros: 1. Not only does it remove dead skin cells, but it also leaves your skin texture silky smooth! 2. It takes care of hydration too, leaving your skin looking moisturized and healthy. 3. Gentle enough for super sensitive skin to use without issues! It's a gentle, consistent way to feel your skin improving!
ConsAt first, you might feel a slight tingling sensation. On days when your skin is particularly sensitive, you might think, 'Wait, is this right?' Also, frequent use could potentially dry out your skin, so you really need to pay attention to hydration. With a 12% concentration, beginners should be a bit cautious!
TipLayer it on dry areas, building it up gradually.

Now I'm focusing on scar management. I can't believe I didn't discover this product sooner! A month ago, after starting my fitness routine, mysterious acne began appearing on my chest, eventually taking over completely. I diligently exfoliated and even used a 'Not For You' body mist known for acne treatment for a whole month. Just when I thought the blemishes were improving, keratosis pilaris suddenly appeared, leaving my skin in its worst state ever. Hearing that hydration was more crucial than exfoliation, I applied a moisturizer which helped calm things down a bit. Then, by chance, I received this product. Initially, I used it just because I had to write a review. I applied the Emlactin emulsion morning and night, and wow! In just two days, my skin became incredibly smooth, and after a week, it was completely soothed! I don't understand why this isn't listed as a top recommendation for blemishes. I highly recommend it. Texture: A slippery, soft cream texture with a rich feel Application: The soft texture spreads easily over the body Absorption: Leaves a slight oily residue, but it's not too bothersome Scent: Smells like wood glue. To be honest, the fragrance isn't great.
ConsWhen it touches wounds or sensitive areas, it really stings! It's extremely painful! I wish I didn't know this. You'll involuntarily cry out. Use with caution!
TipI applied it morning and night after showering, and before bed! When my troubled areas felt itchy, I also applied it occasionally, which helped soothe them faster.

The texture is similar to hand cream, with a slight viscosity that doesn't run. I mainly used it on my legs. Previously, when I applied regular body emulsions, white dead skin cells would rub off on my clothes. With this product, that noticeably decreased. Not only does it calm dead skin cells, but it also seems to make my skin feel silky smooth. I had heard the scent wasn't great, but it was actually better than expected and dissipated quickly. Right after application, it felt moisturizing and created a protective film, but by the next day, my skin felt soft and supple. I'll likely continue using it regularly.
ConsDue to the ingredients, it did sting a bit on areas with cuts or scrapes. I recommend doing a patch test before use. The size seems slightly small for a body product.
TipRather than using it daily, I find it's less irritating and better to alternate it with similar products every other day.

My skin type is combination dehydrated on the face and dry on the body, so I need to carefully balance oil and moisture. What I found satisfying was: The Hwahae Testers would be pleased to know that in just two weeks, my skin became noticeably smoother after treating back and chest blemishes. It also helped reduce the appearance of keratosis pilaris on my arms. I loved the lightweight texture and how it left my skin feeling hydrated.
ConsI experienced a slight tingling sensation on my back and chest where I had blemishes. The fragrance wasn't particularly appealing. While it feels moisturizing immediately after application, as time passes, I felt some itchiness due to dryness. During transitional seasons or dry periods like now, this alone might not be sufficient. You may need to layer it with an oil or cream for extra hydration.
TipI used this daily after showering for two weeks and saw definite improvements in my keratosis pilaris. Consistent use seems to be key for best results.

My skin has always been sensitive and extremely dry, so I've tried all sorts of moisturizers. Through The Hwahae Testers, I received Emlactin Body Emulsion and have been using it consistently. First off, I love how smoothly it absorbs and how it leaves my skin feeling soft and velvety, not sticky with residual moisture. Yet it still maintains hydration well, which I find satisfying. It seems to be effective for removing dead skin cells and improving skin texture. After regularly applying it to my dry arms and legs, I've noticed my skin becoming noticeably smoother with less flaking.
ConsThere's a slightly sour scent, reminiscent of fermented rice cakes. Also, as mentioned in the product precautions, it can cause a tingling sensation if applied to broken skin.

First Impression What caught my eye when I first received the product was the 12% lactic acid content! Being an AHA, I expected it to help with dead skin cell removal, and it also claimed to have moisturizing properties, which made me even more excited! 2. Texture & Application 📌 Texture: Thin emulsion type 📌 Absorption: Slightly sits on top at first, then sinks in 📌 After-feel: Slightly rich on the surface, with a smooth glide However, the hydration lasts long When I first squeezed it onto the back of my hand, it had a moderately thin emulsion consistency (not runny). Upon application, it felt moisturizing at first but seemed to sit on top slightly. As time passed, it absorbed, leaving the skin feeling softer. 3. Effects 📌 Dead skin cell removal: Visibly reduced flakiness, and slightly decreased ingrown hairs 📌 Hydration: Good moisturizing power with a balanced richness 📌 Irritation: Slight tingling for the first two days of use As you can see in the before photo, I have thick dead skin cells, and when my skin gets dry, it cracks like snake skin shedding its skin. My skin is so dry that if I skip moisturizer for even a day in the dry season, white flakes rub off on my clothes. After using Amlactin consistently for about a week, I felt the rough areas gradually becoming smoother. While the exfoliation effect isn't rapid, I believe you'll definitely see a difference with consistent use! If you have sensitive skin, you might feel a slight tingling at first, but for me, this sensation disappeared after two days of use.
Cons❌ Slight tingling sensation when first applied. ❌ Absorption could be slightly better (Start with a small amount and gradually spread evenly over the entire area!) ❌ Exfoliation effect isn't rapid (Consistent use is needed to see results) ❌ Has a slightly sharp, sour scent with a fermented smell, but it dissipates quickly
Tip1. For those with atopic or extremely sensitive skin, it's recommended to patch test before use! 2. Those expecting a scrub-like effect might be slightly disappointed! However, if you're looking for gentle exfoliation and hydration in one, this is recommended!

It was incredibly stressful! I tried everything - oils, body emulsions, even scrubs - but nothing worked. Then I discovered this emulsion, and it's been a game-changer for reducing dead skin cells! The hydration is impressive, yet it doesn't feel sticky. Surprisingly, it has a light texture but provides long-lasting moisture, so my legs never feel dry. With AHA, it's effective at removing dead skin cells. Beyond just moisturizing, it actually eliminates the root cause of rough skin. My legs are now incredibly soft and smooth! It feels like it's addressing the underlying issue rather than just treating the symptoms.
ConsDue to the high concentration of AHA, it stings on areas with cuts or blemishes. I have some back acne, and it was a bit uncomfortable to use there. However, the results are so good that I'll likely continue using it despite the slight discomfort. The scent is a bit... unpleasant. It's not overpowering enough to be a deal-breaker, but it's definitely noticeable. Still usable, but the fragrance could use some improvement.

It's moisturizing without being sticky and absorbs well into the skin. The quantity is a bit small, so I'd use it up too quickly if I applied it all over my body. To make it last, I focus on applying it to rough patches here and there, while using my regular body emulsion elsewhere. Though I haven't seen major changes yet, the skin feels softer, and I think it'll improve with continued use.
ConsThe scent is a bit... well, it has a sour smell that sometimes reminds me of ammonia. I really don't like the fragrance at all. Also, if you have super sensitive skin, be cautious. While my body skin isn't particularly sensitive, I applied it generously to my neck area, which is slightly rough like goosebumps. Big mistake! It caused stinging, itching, and even swelling with redness. Even after not applying anything for two days, it's still itchy. I've seen people mention using it on their face - please be very careful! Interestingly, the parts of my arms and legs where I applied it had no adverse reactions. It seems you need to be extra cautious when using this on more delicate areas of skin.
