  Current skin condition: After a C-section, the surgical area developed severe dead skin cells similar to psoriasis, and my entire body became very dry. Advantages: 1. Hydration - It has a unique texture. Despite the slightly powdery finish, which made me think it would dry out over time, the moisturizing effect lasted long. 2. Packaging - The pump design allows for hygienic use. 3. Absorption - Unlike other products with a powdery finish that tend to feel heavy, this one glides on effortlessly and feels lightweight. There's no white cast, making it great for applying thickly on dry areas. 4. Improvement of keratosis pilaris - I had some chicken skin on both upper arms. Whether by coincidence or not, after applying this product morning and evening, I noticed a visible reduction.

  Cons

  Disadvantages: 1. Price... It's expensive... I'm considering repurchasing but hesitating due to the cost. 2. Scent - Personally, it smells a bit like wood glue. However, the product's effectiveness is good enough to overlook this minor issue.

  Tip

  Highly recommended for C-section moms! After giving birth, I developed stretch marks and tried various moisturizers, but this one kept my skin hydrated the longest. Mix the product with jojoba oil and apply it to stretch mark areas. While it may not completely eliminate stretch marks, it can help prevent new ones or slightly improve existing ones.

  Skin type: Extremely dry, severe dead skin cells concern in winter Fragrance sensitivity: Sensitive With my dry skin, I was looking for a body emulsion with effective hydration. Luckily, I got the chance to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers for a week. The most challenging aspect when I first used it was the scent! I was startled by the strong, vinegar-like sour smell that arose while applying the product. Being sensitive to fragrances, I wondered if I could use this daily, so I ended up only applying it to my lower legs and stomach area, avoiding the upper body. Dead skin cell improvement: The hydrating power is excellent, reducing skin dryness. It was effective on areas with severe dead skin cells like elbows and calves. Previously, my skin would quickly become flaky even after applying emulsion, but after using AmLactin, my skin became less dry and softer. Quick absorption without stickiness: It absorbs rapidly without leaving a sticky or slippery feeling. Minimal effect on complexion: Although it contains niacinamide, which made me expect some improvement in skin tone, I personally didn't notice significant changes. However, continued use might help alleviate pigmentation.

  According to the instructions, Lactic Acid is an ingredient that dissolves dead skin cells, which can increase sun sensitivity.   I'm writing this review after using the product for about 8-9 days from March 12th to March 21st. My body skin type is dry, similar to my face. While I don't have severe dead skin cells, I do experience itchiness when dry, and in extreme cases, I can develop scratches and slight keratosis pilaris. Absorption and application - As someone who uses body emulsion 365 days a year, I found this product amazing. The texture is incredibly smooth. While many moisturizing products tend to be heavy, this one feels light yet doesn't run. It absorbs quickly, isn't sticky, and most importantly, provides excellent hydration. You can expect the effects exactly as described in the product description. Personally, I have a habit of constantly washing my hands, which leaves them in terrible condition. Hand creams aren't enough, so I usually apply facial moisturizers or prescription creams from my dermatologist. However, after layering this product twice before bed, I noticed gradual improvement. The price might seem a bit high for the volume, but I'm considering purchasing it after this trial. That's how good I think this product is. Fragrance - The scent isn't overpowering unless you deliberately sniff it. When I first smelled it before applying, I felt a slight aversion due to its fermented or yeast-like scent, reminiscent of makgeolli (which I'm not fond of). However, once applied to the body, the smell wasn't overwhelming and quickly faded as the product absorbed. (For those sensitive to fragrances, applying a preferred body mist before this product should work well.)
