I have chicken skin-like texture on my face, so I need to apply moisturizer constantly. When I applied this in the morning, it helped reduce that texture, which was great. The lightweight cream formula absorbed quickly, and I felt like it naturally brightened my complexion.
ConsI wouldn't recommend it as a makeup base... It had a tendency to pill or slide off the skin.

It seems to be a decent product for daily use. Texture: It applies lightly like an emulsion and absorbs well. I liked that it finishes without much stickiness and can be easily removed with just a primary cleanse. Blemishes: As someone with sensitive skin that often reacts badly to sun products, I was pleased that this didn't cause any major breakouts. It should be fine to use if your skin barrier isn't too compromised. Eye Irritation: There was no stinging or discomfort when applied around the eyes. White Cast: There's a slight white cast immediately after application, but it's not excessive. As it absorbs, the tone becomes more natural and leaves a subtle glow. Scent: It's unscented, which is nice and clean. Even when I sniffed it up close, I could barely detect any fragrance. Packaging: The wide base of the cap prevents it from tipping over when standing. The tube format allows for hygienic use.
ConsThe main downsides were the significant pilling and the relatively low UV protection. With so many good Korean options available, I probably won't repurchase this once it's finished. Makeup Compatibility: Initially, it seems to adhere well, but over time it pills like dead skin. When I applied cushion foundation over it, my makeup looked patchy. It might be difficult to use under makeup. Sun Protection Factor: With SPF 38 and PA+++, the UV protection isn't particularly high. While this might be due to the gentle formulation, I'd be hesitant to use it on very sunny days. Irritation: Despite being marketed as suitable for children, it caused slight itching on sensitive areas. It might not suit those with extremely sensitive skin. Dryness: After a while, I felt a bit of deep dryness. It might be challenging to use during seasonal changes. Ingredients: It contains phenoxyethanol, a preservative. While considered safer than parabens, some people might still be uncomfortable with it. Portability: While not inconvenient to carry, it's not exactly pocket-sized. It won't fit in a small cosmetic pouch.
TipIt might be suitable for use when not going out for long periods or as a body sunscreen. If using before makeup, ensure you allow plenty of time for it to absorb before applying your base makeup.

The scent is so mild I can barely remember it, without that typical sunscreen smell. When applied, there's just a hint of a white cast - you might wonder 'Is there a slight whiteness?' It feels moisturizing at first, but settles to a more matte finish over time. I used it worry-free since it's gentle enough for kids and washes off easily. The finish tends to be on the drier side, so those with dry skin might find it a bit dehydrating.
ConsControlling the amount can be tricky - even a gentle squeeze dispenses quite a bit. For some reason, whether it's incompatibility with my skincare routine or just the product's nature, it occasionally forms small white flakes, almost like eraser dust. This is different from the usual pilling you might experience with other products.

Here's what I loved: - It's fragrance-free - Being a gentle product, it didn't cause any blemishes when applied - It gives a natural glow and feels hydrating without being excessively sticky - The white cast is minimal, just barely noticeable
ConsThe absorption could be better. It tends to pill when applying makeup over it, so I probably won't use it under makeup. I'll use it on my neck or when I'm going out with just sunscreen on!

That's why I carefully examine the ingredients when choosing sunscreens and have tried various products known for being gentle and effective. Recently, most sunscreens have an SPF of 50, which was too intense for my sensitive skin. I desperately wanted a lower SPF sunscreen. Even when high SPF sunscreens claimed to be gentle, I'd still feel a slight tingling and irritation when applying them to my face. However, the Minon sunscreen, with its lower SPF, felt completely non-irritating and gentle on my face. It's not entirely free of white cast, but it brightens my complexion by about half a shade, which I don't mind. Since I can't use BB creams or foundations due to my sensitive skin, I actually prefer this slight brightening effect. When applied, it feels quite similar to Nivea's sun gel. At first, it feels a bit heavy, but after a short while, it settles nicely. One of the best things about it is that it's easily removed with a gentle cleanse. I've tried mineral sunscreens that claimed to be gentle, but they were so difficult to remove that I had to double cleanse, which damaged my skin barrier more than once. With the Minon sunscreen, I don't have to worry about my skin barrier as it comes off easily. The Hwahae Testers would approve of how well it absorbs and its gentle formula.
ConsWhile I didn't experience any blemishes while using it, if you don't control the amount well, it can pill like an eraser. Although I can't wear makeup, I suspect it wouldn't play well with cosmetics.
TipIts gentleness and easy removal are its biggest advantages. It's great for worry-free use. It's especially good for areas that are easy to miss like the neck or back of hands, as it's easy to wash off. It's perfect for casually applying before a neighborhood stroll. The Hwahae Testers would appreciate its convenience and gentle formula.

Moisture: Initially feels hydrating like an emulsion, but becomes drier over time. There's some deep dryness around the cheekbones. Eye irritation: None. It's labeled as 'mild' and after a week of use, I didn't experience any blemishes. Scent: Smells like baby emulsion with a hint of paint (noticeable but not overwhelming). Finish: Not completely matte right after application. There's a glow and slight stickiness. Once absorbed, it feels more powdery.
ConsWhen I applied it on the back of my hand, the leftover product formed small clumps here and there. I wouldn't recommend applying it directly on the face! Now I understand why many reviews mentioned it pills like dead skin cells.
TipAlthough the UV protection factor is relatively low at 38, I plan to use it regularly as it seems suitable for indoor use or when staying at home.

It absorbs naturally without leaving a white cast, which is great. The mildly acidic, low-irritation formula means no eye stinging, and it's gentle enough for the whole family to use - from kids to adults. It's truly a versatile product suitable for all skin types and ages.
ConsTo be honest, I'm not a big fan of milky textures, which is a personal preference rather than a reflection of the product's quality. There's a slight pilling issue that's a bit disappointing. If my skin is particularly dry or my skincare base isn't properly applied, I feel like it might ball up like dead skin cells.
TipWith a UV index of only 38, it might not be strong enough for the upcoming summer. It's best to reapply multiple times for better protection. Just make sure to have a solid skincare base first.

It's gentle and non-irritating, making it suitable for sensitive skin. After a short while, it dries to a matte finish without any greasiness or residue on the skin. I particularly liked that when applied to areas like hands or neck, it doesn't feel sticky at all.
ConsIt causes terrible pilling with makeup. Everything clumps up and rolls off like dead skin cells, making it not recommended for use before makeup application. Due to its low SPF, I tried to layer it a bit thicker on my cheekbones, but it became completely unmanageable, forcing me to remove all my makeup and start over. Personally, I don't prefer easily washable sunscreens, so I was disappointed that this one was designed for easy cleansing. It seems like a product that would quickly melt off with sweat in summer, so it might be better suited for use during seasonal transitions.

It seems to apply smoothly and gently, and I didn't notice any white cast on the back of my hand!
ConsThe UV protection factor is a bit lower compared to other sunscreens, and it feels like it slides off when I sweat a little...

It's great for using as a standalone sunscreen! This would be suitable for people with sensitive skin. I'd recommend it for those who dislike feeling suffocated by products or have delicate skin. It washes off easily without the need for double cleansing. The emulsion-like consistency leaves no unpleasant residue. It might even work well as a body sunscreen.
ConsWith an SPF of only 38, it might not be sufficient on intensely sunny days. When I applied my base makeup and cushion over it, after some time it started to pill. It seems it's best used on its own.
TipI'll have to use it lightly as a standalone product.
